► The Blessing Lyrics:
Verse:
The Lord bless you and keep you
Make His face shine upon you
And be gracious to you
The Lord turn His Face toward you
And give you peace
Chorus:
Amen, amen, amen
Amen, amen, amen
Bridge:
May His favor be upon you
And a thousand generations
And your family and your children
And their children, and their children
May His presence go before you
And behind you, and beside you
All around you, and within you
He is with you, He is with you
In the morning, in the evening
In your coming and your going
In your weeping and rejoicing
He is for you, He is for you

AMAZING 🙏 SIMPLY AMAZING 🙏 HALLELUJAH 🙏
Thank you, BA P. Was a real honour to be a part of this. T
So excited to find some content related to electric violin and worship songs!! I’ve been playing with my Worship group for about a year and each time go through this process of how best to praise the Lord with this beautiful instrument!
Bless you, thanks for your post
You are welcome, GMIHub Online! T
Just so beautiful! You’re amazing Trevor!! TGBTG!
Thanks so much, Londa. Such an honour to be a part of this project! T
Beautiful Trevor.. this was heavenly...! Preach and Teach brother.
Two of my fav. songs I have always wanted to see a violin cover for are ;
Christ in Me - Jeremy Camp
The Motions - Mathew West
(they probably don't lend themselves to violin but I love these songs)
✝️
Thanks David! I am also really enjoying our continued in-depth conversations on the Electric String Page. As I mentioned there, I will look into these songs ... all the best! T
@@TrevorDick Cool amigo. Don't stress about the songs, I don't think they lend themselves well to Violin, but they are great classics ;o))
cool and congrats.
just wonder why many humanize god and his - her-its behavior and giving for granted he-she - it is separated from and even unaware of what's going on around.
Thanks, Arkadi. Good question. The Bible states very clearly God's character and attributes. That is where I get my direction from in referring to and describing Him. T
Hi, just discovered your channel, and immediately subbed and liked. As a somewhat lapsed violin player, i have been contemplating building a new electric violin, but looking through your videos, i think what would serve me best is the Cantini, which i do like the sound of. Seems a bit more lively, and less compressed compared to several other instruments i have listened to.
And the MIDI output is sooooo tempting, that i think the Cantini is the one for me. Now my questions... if you don't mind me asking(!)
The MIDI output will drive a GR55. which uses the standard Roland 13 pin input, i believe. Do you know if this will work with any other Boss/Roland guitar synths with the same 13 pin connection?
And is the difference between the various models now for sale, just the finish, woods and/or paint job across the range? They all appear to use the same pickup/bridge system , but apart from finish, ar they essentially the same? Or do you kow if they use different constructionss?
I am looking at the basic 4 string in black (yes, i know, the cheapest!) as the cost on top of the violin, for a Guitar synth, would be stretching my budget!
Any comments, advice or tips would be gratefully received! Thanks in advance...
Hi Tim, thanks for dropping in and commenting. Here are the answers to your questions: 1) Each model of Cantini is a little different with upgraded bridges (pick-up systems) etc. It is possible to getting an older model with an upgraded bridge. 2) I am not sure if the violin will drive the older Boss/Roland MIDI guitar synths. I am thinking that it probably will not work ... but worth a try experimenting! I am selling one of my Cantini's if you are interested? (this one: ua-cam.com/video/BEsJ0Oi0LaQ/v-deo.html) All the best! Trevor
Cool, are you from T.O, Trevor?
Hey Andre, I live 1 hour from Toronto in a town called Guelph. Many of the musicians in this video are friends/colleagues of mine ... T
I really appreciate how you explain what you are doing musically and how you relate it to your overall concept of the piece. Thanks.
@@doctormock1 thank you! Glad this was a help ... when playing instrumental melody instruments along with vocals, the lyric is central ... but a lot can be added in "word painting" through the musical and melodic choices made ... T
Wonderful job on this track my friend. Appreciate your passion. To God be the glory!
@@davebrowntrumpet Thanks, Dave. Means a lot! Yes, To God be the glory! T
