Recently got this deck and hadn't seen your review. Here are my issues. I love the box, except for the slippy fall out bottom...Love the palette and imagery. Some of the meanings are confusing though I can mostly bend them to my will. I do have to pause at the pips and mentally conjure up the companion imagery from the RWS, so I don't find it a standalone deck. I don't like the card stock at all, cardboardy stock will keep me from reaching for them or shuffling easily. As to the name, I don't know what makes them 'Essential'. I don't find the deck essential at all, but maybe collectible for those into stylized art and particularly this style of illustration. I like the deck, but want to be able to like it more than I do.
I agree with you so much. I wasn’t, and and will never be impressed with it either. As you say, some of the images need bending too much for a meaning. And that I don’t like. I think it’s just another cash grab to be honest.
I found your channel a few weeks ago and have enjoyed your videos quite a bit. I’m just starting out and have found your videos informative. Thank you for the videos. Also, I love that you have your bookshelf full of LGBT books.
I agree with your review. I'm wracking my brain trying to figure out the symbolism of some of the cards, particularly the swords. If you find out why she made them they way she did, please let us know. Also, I give your review a 10 out of 10.

Thank you so much Benny. I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos. Ah, the bookshelf. I have lots of LGBT books 🌈
Hi king! So excited for your channel!
Hey my lovely friend ❤️❤️❤️
Congratulations on your first unboxing! I love the aces!
Thank you! 😍

Thank you. It’s sad when the creator doesn’t explain the symbolism in their work. If I do find out, I’ll let you know ❤️
There is a deck for everyone isn’t there? ☺️
So you say 🤣
Very interesting sword cards! Love it, and congrats on the chanel! ✨🌿🦋
Thank you! I’m kinda on the fence about the whole deck 🤔
Great review Martyn and I feel exactly as you do about it. I don’t really get the symbolism used particularly in the Swords suit.
I’m disappointed Julie. I thought it would’ve been a lot better that it is ❤️
Great review as always. Look at that Fool card! Xx
It’s ok. But I can’t see me using it xx
@@martys_musings not very you. Xx
