Thank you so much for sharing this update, I was just thinking how long it's been. I'm full of admiration that you manage to still do such a lovely daily practice despite all the difficulties! Mine went straight out of the window with my recent troubles. It really sucks that you have serious health problems, and your mum, I'm sorry to hear it. I hope that what can be eased/treated will be, and that if anything can't, all the best support comes to you both.

I also dont see the point disability being necessary...I have a deck with the king of swords in a wheelchair and i couldn't use it since it is my husband s significator. So i was always thinking something bad was to happen to him.

Martyn thank you SO much for this review. I watched it literally 30 min AFTER purchasing the book and it has validated my purchase for me. I was really on the fence about buying the book for the same issues you previously had with the deck. Always loved the colours and diversity BUT it seemed like such a lightweight deck. I guess over saturation in social media will do that to you. I hope the book will encourage me to start using the deck again. I have another deck that sat on my shelf for 5 yrs until I was ready for it and now it’s my favourite. The Cosmic Tribe Tarot. Genius. I think you would like it. It has a techno-pagan vibe and everyone is naked but not in a prurient way. It’s Thoth-y which is my thing these days. It may not be yours.

Thank you for the video. I understand what people here are saying about new age stuff and raising vibration. I think it has to do with what people are defining under those words. For me, when I think raising vibration, what it means to me is being more grounded in yourself and increased empathy and understanding for self and others. And your experience starts to change. That has happened for me as I've worked on myself. Does it mean that I never have bad moments or days? Absolutely not. But my general perspective of myself and the world around me has improved and then I am able to show up better. That's what I understand when I see "raise vibration".

Well I bought this deck awhile ago. Put it aside. Hadn't seen any reviews, but I was attracted by it's cultural significance in my life and thus, it entered my collection. Decided to take a closer look today then check reviews. As you pointed out I was snagged by the lush artwork and the concept. At first I didn't realize I had purchased an oracle because there are SO MANY CARDS and genres and themes. This deck has an identity crisis. But it seems to want to ride the wave of interest in "melanated" decks - which I love, but what offends me about this project is-the shabby research that doesn't serve the spiritual aspects of cannabis culture well. But it's useful. You can create many decks - enjoy. Do whatever it takes to hear your innermost. BTW your rant could apply to decks about any marginalized cultural practice from gluttony to terrorism- to me tarot is engaging real life through the metaphysics of imagery.

I love the book and the deck. I typed all the text from her website when I got the deck and made my own big book of it back then. The symbols described and the spreads for the majors are extra now. Thank you for the lovely video and happy late birthday wishes.

I’m totally sold on buying this book 😅😂❤ So I looked in the indie book. Lots of similarities. Some tarot spreads, questions for each card ( looks like there might be more questions in the indie book) extensive meaning as well as meanings from her social media for each card too ( social media with their own spin on the meaning) This book is 296 pages but half the height as that. The book you have looks like a great extension to this that I obviously NEED 😂❤ Thank you for the walk through. ( I’ll show you the indie version when we chat next 💗)

oh my gosh I just pulled out my Light Seers deck about six weeks ago and fell totally in love with it again. I had no idea this book was even a thing. It feels like kismet! I am going to order it IMMEDIATELY.

Thanks for reviewing the book 😊! I've been on/off about the deck for ages. I love the Muse Tarot as it's energy feels more introverted. LS feels very extroverted and relationship-heavy. But... now that there's a book I can use to scry into the head of the creator, I can move beyond my untangible feelings. I'm quite interested to find out what it is exactly about this deck that I feel both pulling me in and pushing me away. I wish there was also a similar GB for the Muse Tarot. I know the poems are online on a website but I'd love to have them on a physical book.

I’m the same - I got this book yesterday and I think it will rekindle the love I had for this deck especially this book explains why author decide to create the deck the way it was. I get it we can use it intuitively - but now it makes more sense with some cards - where I was thinking why she did this or that
