I’m convinced Roddy is one of the best songwriters of all time. He was also one of the pioneers of going indie. That’s why he was ousted. The talent he possesses, that’s exceptional.
i grew up in the 60,s with the beatles , stones elvis roy orbison simon and garfunkle , but this song is up there with the best of those just brilliant .

I saw them in London......RAH ...the summer of 88....so..not long after/before this gig.....
