Great truck. I love mine. I got a 2020 High Country, Crew Cab, Long Bed. One irritating feature was the set up for the fifth wheel / gooseneck. I had to buy another adapter for my fifth wheel hitch, and had to buy a new goose ball.
Bomber! Ya I was hoping my fifth wheel hitch from my 2016 would fit in the 2021. But of course they had to change it up, so I had to buy a new 5th wheel hitch! It's worth it though this truck does tow better! I love the front end of the High Country. Thank you Jay mason!😎👍
I recognize those farm fields right away looks like point Mugu in the background and common marine layer on the West Coast. That’s a beautiful truck. I have a 22 on order should pick it up in January, I can’t wait!
Awesome! Nice to hear from somebody from my hometown! You're going to love your 2022 Chris! If you do any modifications on the truck keep me updated! 😎👍
Gotta change your name now lol. I have vented seats on my 2015.5 LTZ and love them. Very nice truck. The older I get, the more I want a new one. I just don’t want the note that comes with it nowadays.
I didn't have vented seats in the 2016 LTZ although I had the split bench seat in the front. I guess it was available on the captain seats. I definitely love that future! Of course the high country has all the options, but the price is just too high for me. Lol! 😎👍
I’m looking to buy and new Diesel truck I don’t really do much towing but just love diesel I currently have a 2005 Ford 6.0. Have you had good reliability with the Silverado I’m not sure why truck to get next. Dodge/Silverado/Ford. Thanks brother nice truck by the way!
Are you running a slider for your 5th wheel? I’ve heard people getting to 90* without one on these new rigs. I have the Reflection 150 278BH with a Turning Point box but I can’t use it with my single point hitch. Great Video. Thanks for sharing.
I've gotten very close to 90*. On my latest video in the beginning there's a clip of how close I got. At the time there was a availability issues for the hitch with a slider so I ended up getting the one without. If I had to do it over again I would get the slider you never know when you're going to need it, it's "that one time" that it pays for itself. I just looked up your reflection 278bh, that's an awesome rig! Keep me updated Justin thank you!
@@DURTYMAXLML will do! I am one of many still waiting for the truck to show from the factory, but hopefully in a few weeks. Can’t wait to see what you have planned for your rig.
Had a 2016 2500hd GMC and got a 3500hd 2020 GMC. Had to many problems with reduced power mode 4 times towing my 5th wheel out west. Love the 10 speed , have a x31 ltz. Added a titan 60 gallon fuel tank.
Congrats, now compared to your 2016 tunes with Duramaxtuner how does the power difference compare tunes to this one stock? Also are you going to tune this one ?
Thank you Heber! This 2021 Duramax feels like it has as much power as the LML with the emission compliant Tunes and maybe a little bit more..... I'm talking about seat-of-the-pants feel. The combination of added power and the 10-speed transmission. This truck is just in a different class... believe me I hate to say this because I love my old truck. But it just is. The transmission is so quick to adapt to hill climbs, you don't lose any momentum. All around it's an amazing driving and towing experience. I am moving to 35 inch tires. Not sure if I'm going to flash this truck with Tunes. I may try a much simpler form of modification like the Banks Derringer. We'll see, you'll have to stay tuned, LOL! Good to hear from you again Herber! 😎👍
@@DURTYMAXLML Awesome man Happy for you. I’m sure it’s way different Beast from the LML. Nice truck. Also very nice RV . Grand Design is a great company. I look forward to the update to come .
@@DURTYMAXLML I meant to ask you a bit more about the LML. I know it’s gone now and you did a video on the comparison. Not talking about the tcm tune only the ECM tune . Is there a big diff in power ? I know Duramaxtuner is maxed at 135hp and ppei claims 150hp? Is it worth trying PPEI for the extra power or a waste of money? Thanks in advance . Heber
@Heber Clement III ... is it worth trying PPEI for the extra power or a waste of money? Easy Answer.. PPEI is NOT worth the money!!! ECM to ECM tune comparison you wont feel much difference. Seat of the pats feel, I felt the DruamaxTuner.com was slightly faster. Actual numbers could be different but PPEI not worth the money! And if you add the DruamaxTuner.com TCM tune in conjunction, DruamaxTuner.com takes the Cake! Thank you Heber!
Always check your dry weight! But you shouldn't have any problems at all. My Rigs of 41 footer, and this Chevy tows like a dream! Congratulations on the new truck Bruce!
Just found your and subscribed. Just bought the same truck but with the 20 inch rims. Really love it.
Awesome thank you Bruce! This truck is amazing! What will be your first mods?

Quick correction, I had a 2016 LTZ as well and I had both heated and cooled seats. Keep up the good videos brother!
Well I guess I got jipped! Lol! I'm definitely enjoying the cooled seats, it was a hot one today! Thank you Mac!😎👍
