For some reason, my editing software cut off over half of the leader dialogue. It’s not that big of a deal as they all literally say the same thing after Legion.
Feels weird to hear Jack and Grunt stepping up to help evacuate the Normandy crew. It feels equally weird that Zaeed “Sole Survivor” Massani is technically a *correct* choice as an escort (any loyal squadmate is, but you’d think he’s an exception).
To be fair, most of the time he loses the whole team, they're part of the team working toward the goal. In this case, it's a bunch of non-combatants, and keeping them safe IS his mission, and he's the only one combat-ready among them. One of his big tendencies may be "only survivor", but his other big thing is that he's notorious for always getting the job done. He's GOOD at his job... he's just shit at leading other soldiers. Fortunately, with the Escort mission, he's not leading soldiers. If you think of the rest of the crew not as people but as Cargo to be escorted back to the Normandy, it's easier to see why he doesn't screw it up.
@@Blazieth I picked Zaeed the first time I got to this section because I trusted him, and he didn't disappoint. I don't think I knew at the time that it could have been anyone who was loyal.
Thanks for posting this. I can never bring myself to choose anyone else but Thane for escorting the crew back. He is lethal on his own, has a moral compass to defend others, and has stealth. No one else seemed up to that task.
@@azrielmoha6877 True, but Samara would be best fit for the biotic barrier. She's a justicar-asari with years of experience and powerful forces. The one that makes sense to escort would be Jacob or Miranda with their former military and defense training. However I could see Samara making sense to escort, if you want raw power with Jack as the biotic specialist.
@@assassindancer914 I was thinking that it has more meaning than just "anyone" so i send Mordin because he is medic and can help them on normandy heals. But consider Thane and Kasumi because of stealth and garrus for brute strength (Zaeed and Grunt sounds to much like solo squadmates)
Specialist Solus ideal for task. Aside from maybe Kasumi, Mordin least ideal for direct, prolonged combat. Has STG training, but mostly focused on avoiding conflict, or ending conflict quickly, efficiently. Enjoys Kirrahe's "Hold the line" speeches, but prefers to finish job and go home. If assigned to escort crew, can finish job, go home, all at same time. Besides, as stated, should crew members be injured in transit, Mordin able to assist Doctor Chakwas with treatment. Kasumi less equipped to aid injured crewmembers. At least when holding the Line, Kasumi able to support team with stealth-based disruption of enemy ranks.
on my first playthrough, my mistake was picking Samara as the one who'd keep the bubble up, as she wasn't loyal. (failed her Loyalty Mission) And since Garrus was one of the 2 squadmates...
@@williamkerfoot8039 to be honest, if you have a 800 years old asari justicar on your side... i would say choose her. I mean... Asari and Volus are the only two species with natural biotics and justice are the best warriors and biotics the asari can offer, even more powerful than the commandos, so... the choice was quite clear for me
Always was curious to see the dialogues when Shepard ask for biotic's help with Samara being dead/not recruited, I know Jack will talk instead, but what if she also died early?

Everyone Joker send the me the dets...Legion "EDI FAM"
Thank you so much for uploading this ME content I would've never been able to see otherwise
Love how Legion talks to EDI instead of Joker 🤣

Samara also seemed up to the task. Powerful biotic power, disciplined, and she's accustomed to defend innocents to the death

I sent Mordin every time. Someone else might have gotten it wrong.

Interesting everyone who escorts asks Joker for coordinates but Legion asks EDI
Sure Miranda every biotic can handle it got garrus killet 🥺
I was waiting for someone to bring that up! 👍

“In theory any biotic could handle it.”
Evidently, she could not
She technically did someone just died

Thanks for making this one too, I've always wondered what they said.
Watching this it occurs to me how idiotic is is for the squad to all be standing in the open in enemy territory.
It's weird that it's all so different with the first section. But with this
. Almost all of the dialogue is copy + pasted
Yea, this doenst sound like sth that grunt would say or jack :/
