"Reila" is not a person, but a concept personified as a woman, so it's easier to sing to. Maybe Reila is all the member's experiences, their sorrow, agony, pain. Maybe Reila is their lost happiness. Maybe Reila is everything. Just a thought. ^_^

I love this song and I love this live but I just want to say one thing. This song isn't about any dead girlfriend! I think you all know that Ruki writes and sings ballads with all his heart and then it's totally normal that it is possible to start crying, but it isn't because one of his girlfriends committed suicide. Maybe a story like that inspired him for this song, but it isn't about his personal life.

What proof do y'all have that there was ever a Reila? Even if not by that name, how do you know that Ruki didn't make this up off of a tv show or something that happened in the life of one of his friends or a story that was in the news at some point? I think it would be very common knowledge if it were to be based off of a true story so if I'm mistaken, I would like to see some actual proof in interview form of Ruki admitting that this song was written from real life experience. actually, there is no SOLID evidence that it was Ruki's gf who died. But Ruki said in an interview that he writes songs based on what goes on around him, so I would guess that it is about a gf that he loved that passed away. But you never know. Like I said, there's no solid evidence.
