For a $20 game, I’m absolutely in love. I’m not an avid gamer but I played hollow night a few times over and love other metroidvania type games, that being said I did deal with a few bugs/crashes etc. but it’s a with a small team and small price point I don’t really know what else you would expect. The game was challenging, rewarding, and kept me on the couch way longer than I original planned to be. I really hope we get a sequel or DLC.
Anyone found a use for stuff like the old shoe, precious ice, goggles, etc.? Also the goggle maker in steam city or rust city said he's working on something super special but it's not ready yet, will it ever be?
Devs currently said some items I.e rats, mandolin, cheese etc. Currently do nothing but they have plans for them. Whether that's a patch that adds more sidequests or dlc isn't clear. All they are good for atm is for selling
Gruh? More like "Bruh"... Indie game collaboration? Even though Hollow Knight is 2D perspective. It's really cute if the Little Knight (pure vessel) hugged by Lily, and then Hollow Knight encounter Umbral Knight. 😆💗✨
Considering Hollow Knight is Zelda x Dark Souls + 2d the lore and styles kinda combine themselves with it, so this game gives several strong vibes I cannot separate. This is amazingly good.

Just one question tho, does anyone know what the doors on the fire keep are for? they all have been labeled and blocked, but do they have any purpose? is it something that makes sense after you finish the game? or is the fire keep just a barren location?

Have you even played it? If you ever do, it is painfully obvious the game was made by amateurs. Its quality in most aspects is below average with an unjustifiable price tag.
@@aher5875 I don't think they're trying to hide that it was made by amateurs which is why they're charging $20 instead of a big company that would charge $60. I just finished it and while it certainly doesn't have the polish of a massive multi-million dollar company's game, this is one of the better games I've played by an indie team. I think it's unrealistic to expect that a team of 10 people could do the same thing that a corporation with hundreds of employees could.
@@JoshLeakeMusic nobody is comparing it to AAA games. There are far better indie games out there for the same price or less. This game looks like it should only be worth $10
Hi, I have a Problem with blue Fire. Currently, I am at the first temple and in the Room with the 3 doors right before you get the wall jump. the problem is that I used the holy key for the room with the item for the wall jump. now I am at a door that requires the holy key but I just have a regular one. can anybody help me? unfortunately, the use of the key was saved, do I need to restart all over again?
Just play and explore, you will often find yourself getting struck, just look around and get creative with your moves, the game rewards you for exploring, creativity, and out of the box thinking.
Can’t find all 4 musicians, any help? I got the one in the first area, the one in the stone village and the one in the fire area, can’t find the last one
The abandon area go all the way to the top of the level where the boss door is across to the other side there is a cliff where he is at. You should see him from standing on the middle tower. Top cliff just look down.
Beira is at the top of the tower in the ice forest, when you get to the top you will be told by the blue guy, you need to collect pieces of her soul from these circular crystal pedestals. There are four, one in the ice forest at the top of tower, you can't miss it. One in the starting area of the game. One in the fire falls and one in the temple grounds. Once you have collected all pieces of her soul, you can open the large door up by the tower, there you will find her.
Sirion is in the fire falls, to get there you take an elevator from the temple grounds, continue until you come across the steam house, finish the steam house and gain access to rust village through a flying elevator in the steam house, go to the corridor of the village and you will meet the blue sword guy who will give you a key. Go back to the elevator, to the steam house, in front of the elevator is a large locked door, use the key the blue guy gave you and the corridor will take you to Sirion.
I like how this game reuses some models which would give a false sense of security think they are rehashes of one another. But they have strong distinctions between one another.
@@JoshLeakeMusic that's it? That's bizarre as there is a character you can buy them from, thus giving the impression there is a purpose for them. Cheers! Oh, you wouldn't happen to know where the Steam Outfit is located? Need it for Juro's Memories.
