- "TAKIPMATA" is a secret poem that I only perform at gigs, during which I usually ask the audience to actually close their eyes while listening. And now that I rarely do events, I thought it would be best to share this online along with my other poetry pieces. I hope this poem speaks to you as much as it did to me in the course of its inception :) God bless you all! To God be all the glory!

Di ko mabasa yung tip mo, nakapikit kasi ako
"Walk by faith, not by sight.." 🙈❤🙏 Be still. Kapag napagtanto mo na pagod ka na at hindi mo na pala talaga kaya, sa tagal ng panahon na pinilit mong kayanin. Bitaw. Bumitaw ka and lift it all up to Him! Rest your heart and let our God be a God. After all, he longs for us to turn to Him. He wants us to trust in Him! We were made to break but the good news is that, God restores. You may not understand the why's and how's of whatever you are going thru right now, but He does. And God is making you go through it to strengthen, teach and change you. He restores, and then we are not simply put back together to our original state, once God decides that it is now time to restore you, He makes you new, and better than you were before. Keep the faith 🙏❤🙏❤🙏

Ilang beses ko ng pinakinggan 'to. Paulit-ulit.
Everytime na napanghihinaan ako ng loob, nawawalan ng gana, nalulungkot, o kinakain ng problema, kung ano-ano pinapanuod ko o pinapakinggan. Little did I know na eto lang pala 'yung makakapagbigay sa akin ng kasagutan.
Kaya simula noong unang beses kong marinig 'to, hindi ko na nilubayan, hindi ko na tinigilan.
Makikinig ako dito ng pagod, matatapos itong tula mo na magaan aking loob.
Thank you po sa pyesa mong ito. Ang dami mong napapagaan ang loob.
At isa na po ako doon.

Found this piece during quarantine. Made me realize that my faith was falling apart. But when I listened to this my tears flows like a river. I never thought how many times I missed calling His name. Thank you for sharing this piece to us. It gave me courage to praise Him and trust Him again after facing a lot of difficulties in life. Again. Thank you😊

Ang bigat bigat ng loob ko at pinapanghinaan na ko, tuwing nangyayari yun, binabalikan ko ung una kong narinig sayo, ang "Tagpuan". Ngayon, hinayaan ko lang matapos ang Tagpuan at ito ang sumunod kong narinig, ang "Takipmata". Naiyak ako but this time I felt at peace. Thank you for sharing this piece to us. Hindi ako mhilig sa spoken poetrt because I find it "corny" but this one is an exception. This sounds so natural at galing talaga sa puso. Yung iba kasi they write to impress. But you write to express.

i haven't got permission to use this, (bryan vee didn't reply with my message huhu) but i performed this piece during our youth event. i was about to create my own piece and searched for ideas and inspiration but seeing this left me crying. i couldn't think for more ideas than this. grabe yung experience. the whole area was mostly dim kasi sinadya na sa akin ang mas maliwanag, and when the poem ended, i saw them crying. it was worth the try.
