You usually dont hear about the Audio Crew Chief so this was nice to hear and inspiring.
As a Madonna concert fan, it’s amazing to know the complex technical/engineering elements (audio/visual/lighting) that goes behind the scene in staging these tours. It’s conceivable that glitches can happen before and during these shows that these skilled tech guys can remedy so as not to ruin the show experience for both the artists and the audience. Appreciate this video.
nice one...love to know more of madonnas crew !!!
More system engineer interviews!
Nick.....you are killing it....
Really appreciate every video...🎉🎉🎉
Nick - really appreciate the questions you asked of the SE to try to explain the squiggles on the screen in layman’s terms. I’ve found in my career (technical, but not pro audio) that very technical people often struggle to put themselves in outsiders’ shoes when explaining these kinds of things.
So inspiring to see this crazy system, great work Andy😍 keep up the vids, love themmmmmmm❤ I'm thirteen and I am already working with some of the biggest audio people in Norway, than you❤
I just did the Dirty Loops show the other night in SLC. Awesome for wearing their merch!!!!
Every video is loaded with wisdom and knowledge....
Love your videos Nick, so interesting to see these big productions! Keep it up
Being a mix guy this part of the sound world just over the top of my head…
It’s very interesting to listen a S.E.talking about he’s job.
Amazing as always yall, maybe a good addition for a complex rig like this would be one big wide shot of the whole array so we can better visualize what you're talking about. Thanks for making these
Dope video
I love nuggets like this!!
Amazing he got permission to do these videos.
I know Andy. I ran into him in Nashville at a show he was on. I use to build sound systems with him a few years ago.
Is the crew chief in charge/oversight of the FOH and monitor engineers?
That kind of voice helps a lot for being a crew chief.
Interview of crew dancers.
Is this an Eighth Day account? The rig is L'Acoustics.
SE !!!
Coolest fucking job in the world
But oh so important
Systems Engineer sounds better than SE.
