One of the most if not the most annoying things indians do is talk to each other or on the phone when watching a movie in the theatre. What is worse is that they will bring their kids to movies and the kids are shouting and crying throughout. I mean why would you bring 6-7 year kids to watch movies like ae dil hai mushkil.

+SnG Comedy,that mention of matrimonial ads connected instantly, perhaps you should do a dedicated podcast on flaws and fallacies ingrained in our arranged marriage systems. Especially the way those marriage bureaus and websites are run, like a sodding shopping store where you just check boxes for the attributes you desire (Kundali,Cast,height,skin tone,sanskar) ..speaking of skintones what also irks me the most is our uncanny obsession with fairness and whitish skins and the way its exploited by the whole cosmetic industry, another issue I'd love to see you guys dissect.

I think the biggest thing that we Indians do that I hate is the casual hypocrisy about a ton of facets of our daily lives.
Also, we are way too superstitious about shit. Very firm about some very wrong notions just cuz they are old.

I was boarding Jet Airways flight from Singapore to Bombay. I was about to put some stuff in the holder above my seat, and i noticed that place already occupied. Looking around since no one had occupied seats yet, there was this girl who sat behind my seat and she looked up, when i asked her very politely, can you please put your stuff above your seat holder. To that she replied "You know what? I am coming from San Francisco, and i am tired". I said "Maam, i have been in the airport for 36 hours. With that logic i should be more tired then you". Then the air hostess came, and i told her the situation and she resolved it

Another thing that's annoying about us is that we don't give the basic courtesies to anyone- stop talking if someone else is or don't bang the door on face of someone behind you.
