every one seems have authority to bully kautuk.. but he has the most sensible vision.
You guys have to make a part 2 for this. Please!
Man this talk was great.
When you are reading a book, you are the director of the movie that is playing in your head
Here's compilation list of all the books these guys talked about for all those lazy ass buggers(like me) who are not much into books(like me) but want to try out(like me)
Guys please do a podcast about anime and manga and its 'kiddification' on Indian TV.
Recommendations based on what you guys mentioned:
While I am (and probably always will be) a firm believer that books are better than movies, I do agree that movies as a medium do engage all our senses a lot more. A prime example of this would be the television adaptation of Agatha Christie's Poirot.
To kill a mockingbird was a great book. But the movie was even more amazing. Atticus Finch is my hero! And that's because of the movie.
Listen up! @craziebawa and @Cowtuk will be going live on Facebook at 8 pm to answer your book questions, make more suggestions etc.
I've seen all your episodes, they are amazing. You,ll are great. But the only thing is that for the first time I saw kautuk sitting upright and interested in the topic.Kautik is phenomenal though
Also why would you want that exhilarating feeling to go away in 55 mins when you could have that four hours, even days!?
I was about to hit the exit button the moment karan opened the argument with the, 'I don't have the patience to sit through pages..' line. glad, I stuck till the end. kautuk, you're my spirit animal. I could find myself nodding to every counter-argument of yours
surprised that you guys didn't talk about The Godfather
There have been many episodes way funnier than this one, BUT, this is by far my most favorite episode yet just because of the topic and the content. I loved how deep you'll went. The best part of the episode, to me, was when Neville went around the able and asked everyone their favorite books.
About what Neville said, Tarantino doesn't adapt novels and still makes masterpieces, but in some of his interviews he has mentioned that he writes his films like novels which i think is a great approach to writing a film or a show or anything you wanna portray visually. I think Tarantino is the answer to this debate.
Big Question Request- Discuss Theism, Atheism and Agnosticism. Please!
This was so great.
he's totally correct about Chetan Bhagat he writes just so that a movie could be made
perks of being a wallflower, and girl with a dragon tattoo both novels were amazing and beautifully adapted in movies
