When you are reading a book, you are the director of the movie that is playing in your head

While I am (and probably always will be) a firm believer that books are better than movies, I do agree that movies as a medium do engage all our senses a lot more. A prime example of this would be the television adaptation of Agatha Christie's Poirot.

To kill a mockingbird was a great book. But the movie was even more amazing. Atticus Finch is my hero! And that's because of the movie.

Also why would you want that exhilarating feeling to go away in 55 mins when you could have that four hours, even days!?

I was about to hit the exit button the moment karan opened the argument with the, 'I don't have the patience to sit through pages..' line. glad, I stuck till the end. kautuk, you're my spirit animal. I could find myself nodding to every counter-argument of yours

There have been many episodes way funnier than this one, BUT, this is by far my most favorite episode yet just because of the topic and the content. I loved how deep you'll went. The best part of the episode, to me, was when Neville went around the able and asked everyone their favorite books.

About what Neville said, Tarantino doesn't adapt novels and still makes masterpieces, but in some of his interviews he has mentioned that he writes his films like novels which i think is a great approach to writing a film or a show or anything you wanna portray visually. I think Tarantino is the answer to this debate.
