    The title is Baja Slayer. I see at least one commenter has never been to Baja and ridden there to have a clue about that environment. I love these walk arounds and the explanations on choices and "why" or "why not" keep up the great work!

    I'm far from Baja being on the east coast but I like the Recon rear tire for our riding (wet slick rocks, mud, roots and dodging trees). Even handles asphalt transfer sections and holds up well. I just bought this same model and year. So far its a beast. Thanks for making these videos

    Mahle is pronounced "molly". Akrapovic is "a-krah-po-VICH". It's risky making making videos, but they're appreciated. Thanks Mike.

    Next bike will be a KTM - they got the BEST quality and steel frames. 500 is AWESOME not sure if I would get the 350 or 500?

    Canyon dancer tie-down loops(Great stuff), on that 500, the holes for the pinch bolts on the tree's are counter sunk(On my 14 500 at least). Do you sell spacers that can go under the loops?
    I bought a 350xc from a F18 driver outside of St. George last fall, I got a great (well thought out)setup from a mach 2 guy :)

    Mike, I noticed on alot of your builds you favor the acerbis tank instead of the IMS, can you explain why?. I'm in the process of getting a bigger tank but not sure which one to get. Definitely want a 4 gallon tank. Thank you and awesome videos✌

    Curious if there is any benefit to wrapping the pipe in that it keeps the rear shock cooler?

    What graphics kit was installed on that build I need one that covers my tank like that I have the 4 and 5 gallon acerbis tank?

    I’d like to get some cool custom graphics for my tank, but I can’t seem to find any consensus as to who makes the best ones. I wonder where he got his and how well will it hold up before it starts delaminating?

    • @TACOMOTOCO
      @TACOMOTOCO  3 роки тому

      Will last years and years. There’s no ‘best’ source, many towns have graphics companies that will do you right

    Why not use the holes in the lower triple clamp for the tie down?

      These are easier to work with when loading bikes

      Having a light bike means better suspension, better brakes, better acceleration, less fatigue. Having a guard for a guard makes no sense. Half the stuff on this bike is cheap China shit anyway.

      The 500 is more of a dirt bike than dual sport. These seem to add comfort and make it more of a rally bike. The stocker is ill fitted for competitive long desert riding. Surprisingly the 500 weighs 246 and the factory rally bike weighs 244. I’d probably just do the handguards, skid plate, custom headlight, and if I was in the desert maybe a large tank. I’d bet this would weigh 15 lbs over stock with a full tank.
