Are you working on a sketchbook? How's it going?
I am, and it's going bad haha, it's slow and i never have ideas :')
I am! It's the biggest sketchbook I've taken on so far, and I'm actually happy with how it's going?!
You inspired me to start one, haven’t done much in it lately since ive been drawing other things but every time i have made something ive liked it
I'm currently working in 4 different ones... Mixed media, toned paper, sketchpaper and watercolor, and I've almost filled my sketch one with random studies
I am stuck in my sketchbook, I don't really draw tradionelly as much as digitalt, so I feel a bit lost with sketchbooks, I really hope I can continue again soon >X< and thanks for sharring your sketchbooks, it really motivate me a lot
Your sketchbook is really comforting. It's filled with so many things, all so different, not always colored and polished, but they all give this sense of comfort. I love it!

For people interested in this sketchbook! It looks alot like my Tavolozza!!! They have a really nice fabric bind, back pocket, elestic band, and a bookmark ribbon! It holds up to marker pretty well with minimal bleed onto the back of the page! Its really nice paper texture too! They come in 2 packs if you want more than one, mines a square. Okay onto the video now!

As far as cleaning up the mess from oil pastels,(not the water soluble Neocolor 2 wax pastel crayons) using a lotion helps break down the oils before washing your hands with soap and water. You can also use lotion on your work surface to remove any pastel, but another great product to use is the Masters Brush soap i use it to clean my desk and it works amazingly honestly.
Have you ever drawn from life at the zoo? It's one of my favorite things to do and I'd love a video like that if you're comfortable filming in public!

For oil pastels, I try to have a parchment between pages. I know in the past there used to be sketchbooks like that with the "onion skin", is what we call it down here, that are already in the sketchbook so you didn't have to make your own.
I'm really not a drawer but your videos always make think I could be, in a good way. Thank you!
I've started sketchbooks before, but I abandoned them because I didn't like my drawings, so the sketchbook was then "ruined". Now I've got past that mentality and I'm about to finish my "first" sketchbook ever! I don't like the execution of many of my drawings in it, but it's just part of the learning process. I think that in some time from now, I will look back at my current sketchbook and I will like it just because I did it and tried, regardless of the skill level I have.
I love watching your sketchbooks tours and all your videos, really. I find them very inspiring to me and you're one of the reasons that have kept me going with my sketchbook!💖

I ❤ your channel. You are very talented. There was a page you didn't like but I liked the lil birds so much and the colour combos were lovely. You have a lovely soothing voice too and that adds to the calming vibe of your vids. I completely feel you when it comes to struggling to fill a large sketchbook. I have this one sketchbook that I started in 2018 and I still have yet to finish. though I'm finally getting close now. I also draw in it off and on too. Since I have other sketchbooks, I have started but haven't complete yet. some of those sketchbooks are for specific mediums. Also love your sketches.
Love your sketchbook! I remember really liking the video about the houses from the different little things. I'm in my 4th sketchbook, and I know it's silly, but I finished my first three in three months each, and I'm worried about being behind schedule for finishing the 4th one by the end of September.
I love your sketchbook! So cute. I'm almost done with my 4th sketchbook this year. I use it for work. I'm an art teacher. So, it gets filled up fairly fast. I also have a few "specialty" sketchbooks I'm working on. I'm not sure what to call them, but one is for painting, one for oil pastels, etc. Also, the part that I think that you did on that one page is the bottom left.
filling out the last few pages of my school sketchbook while watching. Did one page in pink and only drew pigeons (love pigeos so much), and right now im doing a frog page in green pencil !!🌻

I'm at the moment working on a sketchbook with only anatomy sketches. Mostly line drawings with some colored backgrounds. I can see some improvements, but I made some horrible color choices too. Still gonna finish it though. Just 30 pages to go.

Any tips on how to not have eraser shavings stuck in your sketchbook? 😭
Haha mine is definitely full of them sometimes. You can use a soft brush like a makeup brush or paint brush to dust them into the trash (or the floor...)
