Beautiful film. Very heartbreaking. When Melvin got out of jail and was still wearing long hair and put his jewelry on, I cried. Licurtis being hazed a little at breakfast after he got out choked me up also. I need lawyers to probono pursue a wrongful imprisonment case on their behalf. Also investigate who blew up the boat and burned the house. Nate still being a commercial fisherman was encouraging. These people feel they can do anything because they get to lie and bury the past.

I watched it on Prime. The White men didnt do anything with the men's land and homes while the men spent almost 8 years in jail! They stole the land and didn't do anything with it! What was the purpose of stealing it? Evil!

Same story, different year, different wolves.....Unbelievable how year after years these people set out to take whatever they want from black people just b/c they want it. When does it end ???? They have lived there all their lives and this Adams Associate group just comes in and tries to take what is not theirs. I'm so glad they are fighting and now we all see yet another wrong in this country.
