I love this powder❣ I put it on with the sponge then buff it with a brush. It is my favorite foundation. Lasts all day. I prep skin well and use a moisturizing primer. I am 68 and it looks great on my skin. I also use the big mood mascara after curling my lashes, lots of volume, I then use elfs lash it loud mascara for length and separation. They together do a great job on my sparse short lashes.
@@jillk5151 yes, I got this tip from my granddaughters, she uses princess lash first for the volume then a lash lengthening one for length and usually a 3rd. Two is enough work for me🙂 these two elf ones work good together. Sometimes I also use maybelline falsies waterproof along with elf lash it loud it's voluminizing but difficult to remove.
@@jillk5151 Using two mascaras has given me amazing results! I use Maybelline's Sky High and Curl Bounce mascaras. I buy cheap mascara wands that I use to separate my lashes and to evenly distribute the product. Some women do layer lashes. I haven't tried that. 48f with mature, dry skin.
The more I use powder foundation, the less I ever want to wear liquid. Would love to see a video like a battle of the skin tints/tinted moisturisers/bb creams. There are so many new drugstore ones I'd love to know your thoughts!

I also like the loreal one but it breaks too easily & it's a little pricier. I'm yet to try the ones from Elf or Revolution but I've heard good things. Also Rimmel Stay matte is the best translucent powder I've came across for oil absorption too, if that helps😊

They came in a black case, and I got them for around $12 days they were 50 percent off. I think there were around 12 included. If you haven't yet, you should get the new angled face brush. It's good for several different applications.
Same! I discovered *elf* in 2008 through people on UA-cam. I really miss so many of the products they used to have! Like those tiny eyeshadow quads, the lip color pens, those multi use little tubes of make-up (it was like a liquid/creamy blush you could use on your cheeks, lips and eyes). There are a lot of things that I really wish they still sold.

I love Elf cosmetics so much. They have such great makeup. I so miss wearing lipstick everyday. I can only wear it now in my videos. Being a healthcare worker and having to wear a mask for 8 hrs a day is driving me nuts. Especially lately because we are constantly in quarantine from the staff being positive. We were suppose to be off quarantine today (Saturday) but one of my staff was positive yesterday, so we are staying on quarantine for another week. 😩. Anyways, I am actually wearing Elf eyeshadow right now. I am wearing the bite size green palette. I love this palette.

I’m not a fancy person that does cut creases, but I love color. I can’t tell you how many eyeshadow palettes I have. One of my favorite brands is Colourpop. I have a very big collection of there palettes. I was thinking about selling all my other palettes and just keeping my Colourpop ones and my Jeffree Star and a few of my other ones, of course my Elf.
Great video! I have fallen in love with elf over the past year. I've been curious about both the putty primer and the powder foundation but wanted to see an oily girl test it out so thank you. That elf wow brow is my favorite and I like how I don't have to use a pencil. The new eyeshadow quad is a dream come true. It's such a beautiful natural looking so easy to apply. I find myself reaching for it most days. I have that same color lipstick and I use it often to go as a topper for other lipsticks or liners.

I do love this elf camo powder. I even bought a lighter shade to set my concealer. I use a small fluffy brush. It sets & brightens my concealer so nice.

I LOVE this powder. I have tried an obscene amount of powder foundations, but this has been the first powder foundation to match my skin tone exactly (140W), have the coverage I like (I don’t use liquid foundation just concealer and powder foundation), and have the finish I like (starts matte but melts into the skin as the day goes on). I find this powder looks great applied with the sponge or with a dense powder brush (Milani bronzer brush).

Thanks for your in-depth description of this product. I have just purchased some of the powder, under eye concealer, and mascara which I tried today for the first time. I did not use a primer and was very pleased with how the powder looked after application. It has not piled up in the fine lines on my face, which is a plus and gives a medium coverage that looks flawless. Oh, and by the way, I will be 70 in two months. I have been looking for something that I can use while camping to apply quickly that will keep me looking good without spending a lot of time in front of the mirror. I do enjoy applying my makeup and do so daily but want to wear a little less while out camping. The mascara is also great! I have a problem with my eyelashes going back straight after curling them if I have a mascara that goes on too wet. This worked very well! It lengthened and thickened my lashes with only two coats. I am using the waterproof type. And so far, no itching eyes, no flaking and my lashes are continuing to stay curled!! Whoop! Whoop! With the price of everything going up it is nice to find inexpensive makeup products that work! Thanks again for your video!

Just bought 2 of the camo powder foundations as I never have luck matching my skin tones. Tried one of them this weekend and really liked it. I love that brow gel also. I don’t care for any of their mascara’s but I love all of their products and have bought so much from them online and in stores. Their products are great quality and so inexpensive and my favorite part is they are cruelly free❤️
I love the brow gel! I’m blonde and have blonde/light brown brows and really don’t need to do much with them. I was blessed with full thick brows, but sometimes use it to tame them.

So many of my holy grail products are from Elf. I've been using the creme lipstick this year as a topper to tone down brighter lipsticks. I have been holding off on buying the new eyeshadow palette because the browns look so similar to the ones in other Bite Sized palettes..... but I may have to pick it up now!! I wonder how this foundation would look with a dewy primer?
I've been using IT Celebration powder foundation for a LONG time. I'm gonna try the Elf and see if I like it. The IT is around $40, so a less expensive alternative would be fantastic!
If you buy more from IT be sure to order from QVC. You can always get such a great deal there and usually get a free brush. That's how I've gotten my brushes each time because they include it with purchase.
Ok, that explains it. I hadn't heard of the shade you were using. I recently got this in 120N and it's way too light. You & I usually take the same shade so I couldn't wait 'til you reviewed this! Ulta doesn't have that many shades on their site, darn it. I like it and have been using it to conceal the darkness under my eyes but a whole face of that shade? Nah, I'd look ghostly!! But that lipstick is fabulous! I'll def be on the hunt for that one! Enjoy your weekend!!
As an oily t zone girl who works a long day it's important to me to see if once it's oily say early afternoon can I easily fix it at work. Can I blot and powder on liquid or can I add concealer and powder or in this case can I blot and add more powder foundation without it looking terrible. I need to know if touch ups are doable. Are you able too show this as well?

The brow gel is my favorite as well as the Creme shade in the Srsly Lipstick. I love their eye kits as well. I've replaced my skincare from Avon to ELF and never looked back. I just bought the camo powder and will use it paired with the camo concealer. I haven't used the mascara yet because I prefer a waterproof mascara and haven't looked into it yet but will.

I find that the best way to apply the powder foundation is with a kabuki brush. Or, Elf’s Complexion duo brush. It works wonders and gives great coverage
My first impression of the powder wasn't so great. I used another primer product under my skin and it seemed to make it super dry looking. I will try again with the basic putty primer. I do really like my ELF products. The brow gel in the taupe shade is an excellent color match for me. Being a red head as well it's so hard to find the right shade !

Have you tried the bareminerals barepro powder foundation (in the compact) it's gorgeous! Pretty sure elf can't compete with bareminerals.

Ok, that explains it. I hadn't heard of the shade you were using. I recently got this in 120N and it's way too light. You & I usually take the same shade so I couldn't wait 'til you reviewed this! Ulta doesn't have that many shades on their site, darn it. I like it and have been using it to conceal the darkness under my eyes but a whole face of that shade? Nah, I'd look ghostly!! But that lipstick is fabulous! I'll def be on the hunt for that one! Enjoy your weekend!!

As an oily t zone girl who works a long day it's important to me to see if once it's oily say early afternoon can I easily fix it at work. Can I blot and powder on liquid or can I add concealer and powder or in this case can I blot and add more powder foundation without it looking terrible. I need to know if touch ups are doable. Are you able too show this as well?

The brow gel is my favorite as well as the Creme shade in the Srsly Lipstick. I love their eye kits as well. I've replaced my skincare from Avon to ELF and never looked back. I just bought the camo powder and will use it paired with the camo concealer. I haven't used the mascara yet because I prefer a waterproof mascara and haven't looked into it yet but will.
I absolutely love this foundation, I have 3 colors starting with 125C I think they are perfect for sponge or brush application.

I tried Wow Brow and then I tried a lot of other brow gels ... and went (mostly) back to Wow Brow. I wish they had a more auburn color just for variety because I switch up. But I forgot I'm here for the powder foundation review. lol Also really love that clear lipstick case.

ELF is really killing it lately

I was going to purchase the elf product but I have extremely dry skin. So I'm not sure if it's a good idea to wear this. Before I really got into makeup that's all I used was powder foundation. Beautiful look today...well everyday. Thank you for the video.

I find that the best way to apply the powder foundation is with a kabuki brush. Or, Elf’s Complexion duo brush. It works wonders and gives great coverage

My first impression of the powder wasn't so great. I used another primer product under my skin and it seemed to make it super dry looking. I will try again with the basic putty primer. I do really like my ELF products. The brow gel in the taupe shade is an excellent color match for me. Being a red head as well it's so hard to find the right shade !
Yeah I'm not a fan it does look a little dry and slightly patchy to me.

The L'oreal is way better! pass on this, It's dusty more cakey & barely lasts on oily skin 2hrs
