How did it all hold up throughout the day?
Everything looked amazing at the end of the day with the exception of the ELF mascara. It transferred and smudged everywhere and I was really saddened by how much black I had around my eyes at the end of the day :(

I need a dupe for the Estée Lauder double wear. It’s my only foundation that I can wear any time and it makes my face flawless. A cheaper alternative would be fantastic. ❤

L’Oréal Age Perfect Serum foundation!! My mom has futurist and I have the L’Oreal. She has shade 1N of futurist and I have 10 Ivory in L’Oréal and they are so close to same shade. Not sure if they have the same SPF but I wear separate sunscreen anyway. I tried hers out one day and told her to buy L’Oréal next time. They are sooo similar in formula. I always wanted to try the futurist and didn’t realize I already have the same thing for less in my collection
I’m not sure about the dupe mentioned here but I have to admit that the Estée Lauder Hydra Futurist foundation is, in fact for the viral Tom Ford foundation that retail’s for over $100! 😱 It’s all that and a bag of chips. 😅😉❤️

On a sidenote - my all-time favorite foundation WAS L’Oreal never fail 18 hour. I believe they stopped making it about five years ago, but until about two years ago I could still find it on eBay occasionally.
I’ve started using their Trumatch old type AND new type, but they don’t have that immediate full coverage look.
I actually PREFER a slightly tacky, barely moist finish that neither gets too dewy/sheer nor disappears.
So, I’m gonna look up reviews for the one that you mentioned and thank you for posting your experience:).
I got through the first 13 seconds of this video and all that was running through my mind was how incredibly beautiful you look today, Zabrena! (In all honesty, you always look beautiful.) But something about you today.. maybe it's the lipstick? IDK.

Girl, I wear glasses everyday. I live in a glittery smokey eye about everyday 😂
Also I have found that if I use a lash that’s pretty curled, they won’t touch my glasses.

Red lipstick with blue undertones is the best lip color ever. The 2 reds you used in this video have blue undertones.

Fun Fact: For anyone else out there who loved the It Cosmetics Hello Cheekbones palette which is now discontinued, that Essence Pure Nude Highlighter is an EXACT dupe for the highlighter in the I.C. palette. I sadly don't have a dupe for the contour/bronzer shade.

I honestly think that the number one confidence boosters would be eyeliner like if your in a rush out the door. I personally think eyeliner generally is a confidence booster for older people. Mine would be mascara if I didn't have time to run out the door that's what I would put on even more than foundation.
Yes! If I don't have time for anything else, mascara and eyeliner will make me feel at least somewhat better.
For me it is eyeliner, bronzer (as I tend to look likema ghost in winter 😄😄) and some sort of colour on my lips as my lips are also pale 😃😃
My immediate confidence booster if I am running out the door is lipstick. I am lucky to naturally have very dark longish eyelashes.

Agree about the NYX Lift & Snatch eyebrow pen! That is the only brow product I've used that makes my brows look more symmetrical and it doesn't fade away during wear. Taupe is a perfect match for my level 7 ash blonde hair.

I love how today's look came out. It gave me total 1950s vibes. And you look beautiful as always! But one palette that I would love to see re-duped is the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette. I know that the Rimmel London Spiced Edition is a dupe for it. But I can't find it anywhere.

The Milani Luminoso blush is my favorite ever. As is the Essence highlighter. It really goes with everything and doesn’t look clownie! They are amazing for mature skin! I also love the Butter gloss in Angel Food cake!

I have the Pixi color corrector and am 58. It didn't occur to me to use it with a concealer. I also have ELF brightener you used. I will try them together.
I think it would be really helpful to see a series of very different eye looks all from the same palette. I sometimes get in a rut where I will use the same few colors over and over - it would be fun to see you work through an entire palette, maybe do 6 - 8 different eye looks using all the different shades from the palette over a series. Might be helpful for those of us on a budget, too.
Wow, when you were modeling the red lip I thought how much you looked like Lucille Ball in I Love Lucy. All you needed was the hair! Loved this video!
Sooo excited for the undereye video!! A tip for that...use a color corrector of your choosing, then concealer of your choice, THEN on top use the Maybelline Age Rewind in the shade brightner(pink one) AMAZING BRIGHENTING RESULTS...P.s. the key is to use little amounts of product for no cake face! I love love love my L’Oréal Glotion!!! I have light, med and the deep. I love them for all my PA seasons. Lol. Also at 54 I need proper lighting and the magnifier mirror I need for my vision. Makes a word of difference. Not many people discuss the correct mirror you need for your vision or lighting.

I would love a dupe for the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Face Base. The Merit lipsticks are unique. I would love a dupe for the Kaja Bento Eye shadows. For undereyes, try the Maybelline Age Rewind in Brightener which is pink. Set it with the elf Halo powder in pink. One- two punch for dark circle eradication

I have super hooded eyes or just very little space between my eyebrow and eyes. So love the inky minky lashes can't wait to try them!
Where red lips are concerned, my favorite is Maybelline's Color Sensational lipstick in Red Revival (some think it is a dupe for Mac's Russian Red).
Speaking of duping things, I'd love it if you could find a dupe for Viseart's Neutral Mattes. I think ELF has one (Nude Mood), but I've never seen them compared (and if it is a dupe it deserves more attention; I have to repeatedly talk myself out of collecting every palette in that format!).

Oh the lift and snatch !! I'm so glad you mentioned that, I have approximately three eyebrow hairs left in total but am able to draw in a full brow with that, and having tried so many that dryup in a week, this lasts forever. As a sidenote I have seen so many people use this type of pen and only feather up, for a real looking brow it should be feathered up and feathered down from the top. I literally have to grab a tissue and wipe off my brows in front of them to convince people that in fact they aren't real! I use taupe it's really incredible.

My favorite brow product is the sephora collection retractable waterproof brow pencil.
Zabrena, you are so beautiful inside and out. Thanks for lighting up my day love. I love a little perfume now and then. My favorite smell are lilacs. Pacifica makes a very affordable perfume called French Lilac that smells just like a fresh bouquet. It doesn't last all day, but it sure lifts the spirit.
Oh I love their fragrances too. Have you tried the roller ball version? They tend to have better longevity for me. Especially if I mix in a bit of almond oil. Thanks for the recommendation!

The "essence- pure nude" is too dark for me & their white shade has a really blue/purple shift that I'm not a big fan of.
Brows are definitely the biggest confidence booster for me.

Loved the coverage of the Pixi Color corrector, but the Peach was just a bit too dark for my very fair skin. Did great job of correcting my dark circles, but shifted the color of my concealer just a bit too much.
Love the Milani Luminoso (and several other Baked Blush colors).
Maybelline SuperStay is wonderful - both the StayMatte liquid ink & the Ink stick.

Also not high end but very beloved to me was the tarte lip tint in shade energy noir, it was a lip tint that actually customizes your lip shade. It was the purple one it was my favorite lip product and they discontinued it. I went through 2 tubes of it, I loved it that much. Most lip products never get finished so, I’ve been looking for a dupe for this, forever but I don’t think it’s even possible as you can’t get the original anymore but if you are familiar with it and can dupe it. It’s a gorgeous purple / mauve lip tint. It was very moisturizing. It wore nicely and faded with grace.

Zabrena, I'd love to see dupes for
DREMABLEND!! Sorry to yell but I've been using it for 4 decades and nothing covers like Dermablend for scars, severe discoloration, and tattoos. The closest thing for dark circles is the Wet N Wild Incognito but it doesn't do the heavy lifting of the cream Dermablend.
1. Clinic's Moisture Surge gel moisturizer. That stuff is so good under maekup. Feels great going on!
2. Urban Decay liquid foundation. Covers really well.
3. Urban Decay's 24/7 glide On Lip Pencil in Clear. Fantastic product! Goes on so smoothly on my 68 year old lips!

I recently discovered they eyelure naturals lashes. Very subtle enhancement to my sparse lashes. Also my holy grail blush and highlighter combo is the milani baked blush in petal primavera and baked highlighter in dolce perla. I have fair skin and this combo just looks beautiful.
