I finished the last boss but I’m scared of these guys, lol. The last boss is insane…..got them to a sliver a few times and then got kissed a second time 🤦♂️🤦♂️. After many tries I completed it. No main bosses left
I wouldn't say you're nerfing yourself. The base game tears are much easier to work into any build, while the dlc tears tend to fill more niche purposes, such as the infinite stamina one being best used with infinite fp to actually be able to cast spells infinitely. Also, nearly every furnace golem has a place where you can throw pots into it, not just the two armored ones. Just look around a bit for a ledge. The only one that comes to mind that doesn't have a ledge is the gravesight plain one
The bloodsucker one plus a regen build with the fp refill would fit my regen build since I run the shield the talisman for hp waiting to get the fp one ... bloody stars with the godskin swaddling cloth and storm caller on my weapon on a dragon build. Can't wait.also run blessing of the erdtree and golden vow with lords talisman might ditch it for the fp talisman.
I did some testing and found it enhances guard counters by around 40%. In a setting without talismans, a charged heavy did 1266, and a perfect guard counter did 1918. Very cool! With the two handed talisman, curved sword talisman, and spear talisman, the damage increased to 2,877.
Tips to beat them: -Get on Torrent jump over the fire -Use a stamina recovery talisman like the turtle talisman or it's upgrade found in the dlc -To get the pots to kill the armored one, get the greater potentate 1 cookbook found at the entrance of 1st ruin you will encounter in the dlc, after this you can craft the pots and throw it at the furnace golem.
Ignore the torrentpart to be honest, just stand between their legs and jumpattack. When they do the jump run away and jump when it lands. Repeat till boredom or death
Reflecting hard tear is a little different than what you said, You have increased poise, damage negation, and reduced stamina cost when blocking, IF you time the block right before an attack hits
I don't play elden ring but I like berserk and I saw these and I was like "a whicker man? From berserk?" And I just love seeing all the berserk stuff in elden ring
Here's a tip, you have a brief window to throw a furnace pot in the top after your reposte strike, meaning the time to kill is halved compared to needing to reposte twice. You do need to be quick, and have proper distanceing though. But I've done it. It's much faster.
Also if you bait out the attack where it drops its head to the ground to blast you with a pillar of fire, you can get in close while on Torrent and lob a pot into its head.
Hefty furnace pots outright do massive damage to the golems, you can also spam Pest Thread Spears on either variant to kill them easily without a critical hit
Fun fact, the golems aren't affected by poise damage, they stagger after a certain number of hits (idk how many) which makes jumping curved swords or jumping pole arm attacks the quickest way to take them down due to the multi hit
i cannot overstate how useful the deflecting hardtear was for me in the final boss. trying to not give spoilers here but the right slash then left slash then crossed slash combo the boss does is bear impossible to avoid without parrying or using thos tear.
Deflecting tear will basically give you the ability to perfect parry. You press block at a specific timing and all damage is negated whether with shield or weapon.
A bunch of people think the armored golems can onky be hurt by the hefty flame/furnace pots, but magic has the same effect when shot in the tops of the golem
You can farm the Magma Visages (Or whatever they're called) from the soldiers in the camps south of shadow keep, the thing you need to make the good pots.
Throwing pots into the furnace golems will kill it 1000x more effectively than normal but if you really can’t find any way to get the high ground in it just get up close and try to stance break it. It’ll do some variation of stomp attacks or a grab attack. For the stomps it’ll obviously just stomp, which you can jump to avoid all damage. It’ll jump in the air and land down with both feet, has an explosive AOE so just back up and jump the fire wave to avoid all damage. And then it’ll step one foot backwards and swipe with its hand on the opposite side which will grab you and do like 2,000 damage. They’re super easy to kill the critical hits do like half their HP.
I had found a clue about using fire pot in the camp in front of the shadow keep: so I used them but could not figure out what I was doing wrong, guess I missed so thank for the info fellow Tarnished.
Holy shit bro, it’s darebear. Been a minute but cool to see your getting the exposure that was much needed for your content. Miss the streams bro. Hope all is well in life👍
You’re right I have definitely been avoiding them. After killing the first one you see (at least in my experience) they just spam that one move that throws a bunch of fireballs at you. For me it makes it basically impossible to get close but even when I do they just do it again 🤷🏼
The attack power and the draining damage hit from those two hits meaning it doesn't matter if your health drains as long as you got that second tear that combines that allows you to get health while you're continuously hitting your that attack damage is going to be
Those golem almost made me rage quit, the one in the middle of a camp always buged when he fall and i couldn't crit him and some times he just spamed that fire ball nonstop.
The first one doesn't buff poise but to explain. Instead you can sekiro style parry attacks. With 3 degrees perfect parries don't cost stamina or cause hp loss. Even when using a 2hd weapon to block with. I believe there is a bit of math involved with it. Based on the absorption of the blocking weapon or shield.
The first Armored lad I took down with a bow. It took over 300 arrows. Later when I found a note telling you the proper way to do it I was...less than thrilled lol
To take them down, use Carian Grandour on Claymore, one charged ash hit + follow up will break their leg. Or dragon maw incantation. Use executioners greataxe for the crit
If you run a deep faith build run ancient lightning strike with high scaling or gavel if low faith go between the legs while on your horse and charge the spell max. You should have enough time after an attack just jump to dodge. You can run talismans and physic to get more dmg but generally hitting this a few times will knock down faster than hitting with a weapon.
Hidden viridian and cerulean will turn me temporarily into a npc and I so want to get that now, simply so I can annoy my enemies by just continuously attacking and using my weapon art with no end until the flasks end.
If you knock them down, they also refuse to get back up until you get the repost. At least from my experience. You can also use the pots in that situation while they are on the ground
What! There's 8 of those..... My tactic for the first one was setting up Latenna ontop of the stone building to keep digging away at his health and I just camped at his feet slashing away with the dragon scale blade
The Oil Tear mixed with the Flame Shrouding tear and the Rolling Sparks ash of war on the Flamespark or Frenzy Flame perfume bottles = 12000 damage per cast.
Use the pest thread spears incantation, it'll be easier if you do. There's also one of these guys located in Rauh ancient ruins, DO NOT KILL THAT ONE, it has the best rune farm in the game.
Have you taken down any of these yet? If so, what boss are you on? I’m trying to see something 😮
I've only killed three, and I'm stuck on the last boss /:
Ive killed 4 and im stuck on the last boss because he is literally fucking insane, especially the second phase is just another level of difficulty
I finished the last boss but I’m scared of these guys, lol. The last boss is insane…..got them to a sliver a few times and then got kissed a second time 🤦♂️🤦♂️. After many tries I completed it. No main bosses left
I have taken down 0 of these golems but I only have big daddy dragon and the final boss left
@@TheBADFELLA05 that dragon is a hell of a fight.
The last one is basically power within. So op
Yeah that things gotta be broken
If you combine it with the tear that heals you on attack you can become pretty op, in theory at least
@@Scaredshadow_34 theory kinda cracks down when you realize the lifesteal only lasts for about 1 min - 50 seconds, tested it myself
Literally Kaio-Ken. Kills/hurts self, but increases power.

Infinite stamina paired with a bloody spear and fingerprint shield you’ll first try rahdahn. But yes 🗿 I agree.

even the first??
well tbh the not armored ones are not that hard to fight. just takes a bit.
I think I killed 4. 2 on horse and 2 with pots
The deflecting tear actually boosts your guards effectiveness if you block with parry timing. Think Sekiro.
Thank you
Holy crap they did WHAT?
(So happy right now)
If you time it perfectly which isn’t hard to do you can literally tank entire combos with literally no stamina cost with great shields
You need to be pinned

you don't need torrent? huh
None of the Hefty Pots I used did, like, any damage. It was like 54 at max

Took me 2 charged bonks for each leg with the giant crusher + royal knights resolve + charged attack flask/amulet to stagger them
and therefore the 3rd stagger knocks them down i think
Thank you I didn’t know about the pot throwing because I’ve been fighting an armored one
Don't forget you can throw pots (at least hefty fire pots work for sure) to their "cauldron" and deal like 1/3rd of their hp in damage
They saw elden ring reforged and thought "oh shit, that's a great idea" for a few of these
These look like the golems summoned on Elfhelm in Berserk by the witches
I wish there was a way to make your flask be able to have more tears in them, honestly would be nice
I like to think FromSoft added a metric fuckload of ways to improve spirit ashes as a "shut up" to all the purists saying summoning is cheating.
Okay looks like they’re next on my hit list. I just beat Bayle so I’m ready to go.
This video is so well done, minimal spoilers, maximum utility. :D

They're certainly making it hard to ignore them attacking me from 20 feet away.
last 3 sound so op
I didn't kill a single one of these but I feel like if I tried my deathless DLC run would have ended.
Deflecting tear will basically give you the ability to perfect parry. You press block at a specific timing and all damage is negated whether with shield or weapon.
That oil soaked tier would be huge for someone who’s only using the frenzied flame curse spells only
A bunch of people think the armored golems can onky be hurt by the hefty flame/furnace pots, but magic has the same effect when shot in the tops of the golem
You can farm the Magma Visages (Or whatever they're called) from the soldiers in the camps south of shadow keep, the thing you need to make the good pots.
Honestly the furnace on the starting area drops the best tear, the other ones are mostly trash and/or situational.
If you've been avoiding these golems you propably saved a lot of time
When it first came out i saw that 7k was nothing to it and ran 😭😭
The cerulean sapping cracked tear seems really fun. Now I won't need to bring nearly as many cerulean flasks
I didn't even realize there was a second furnace golem in the watering hole😅 thanks
“the blood sucking crack tear” 💀
You’re the type of player to look up build guides for a from game😊
Crimson cracked with bloodsucking cracked is crazy good.

Stamina ash and crimsonburst sound very useful
From what I can tell the only 3 that are really worth getting are the bloodsucking one, the poise and damage negation one, and the FP hit regen
The crimson cracked tier turns you into a blood born character
This really useful to know for someone who has never played eldin ring :)
Those golem almost made me rage quit, the one in the middle of a camp always buged when he fall and i couldn't crit him and some times he just spamed that fire ball nonstop.

Oil tear and the last attack tear on a blasphemous blade build would be insane damage
I recommend getting Flame Protect Me if you’re struggling with these guys. It made my fire resistance over 80
So quick question how does one kill a fire monster with FLAMING pots
For a second, the way you phrased that made me think each one was supposed to drop 8 tears.
I was like "🤔 I should really check my inventory again"
The first Armored lad I took down with a bow. It took over 300 arrows. Later when I found a note telling you the proper way to do it I was...less than thrilled lol
the blood drain and hp restore fromlanded attacks goes hard
you didn't even explain that the reflecting hard tier let's you play the game like Sekiro.
The crimson sapping cracked tear is like the rally system in bloodborne.
mix it with Malenia's great rune for full effect
Mimic tear about to go crazy

He reminds me of big Zombie on COD Cold War or COD MW2
I fought an armored one for like 5 minutes before i realized i wasnt doing damage
Btw you can hit the face for several times before you stab it, it makes more damage also throw hefty furnace pot into the torch doing stupid damage
Fun fact: if you can heal your hp to maxium and you have 60 vigor, you can block their jumps and survive, then heal instead of dodging.
Oh so that’s how you take care of the armored ones
Using lightning perfume bottle with the ash of war you get near the third golem turns them into a joke. Highly recommend.
If you knock them down, they also refuse to get back up until you get the repost. At least from my experience. You can also use the pots in that situation while they are on the ground
They will get back up but it takes a pretty long time. Like 30 seconds maybe.
I beat the dlc without killing any of the golems. Its way too much of a hassle lol.
What! There's 8 of those.....
My tactic for the first one was setting up Latenna ontop of the stone building to keep digging away at his health and I just camped at his feet slashing away with the dragon scale blade
Blood sucking cracked Tear mixed with Crimsonburst Crystal Tear is literally all the benifit with no downside.
Never would have known this till now
for some reason ive always struggled to land critical hits, ill stand in the correct spot and everything and hit R1 and ill just do a regular hit.
"You need to repost the golems"
Me abusing rolling sparks:
You can also arrow them in the face of you don't want to do pots, me and Radahns bow got sick of running out of hefty pots.
"The bulk of your damage" ouff
I haven’t been avoiding them, I’ve just been intentionally not seeking them out.
Where are your DLC playthrough videos?!? Do you stream? Id watch you play.
There's a total of 9 by my count, but I'll run through it again next month
Use the Wing if Astel to knock it down faster. You can also use the Wing to knock down those annoying Golems in the Lava dungeons. 😌
Some of these are so OP that they can't be talismans
Cerulean and crimson sapping tear pretty much just a health and fp restore with fast weapons..😮😮
I forgot they give the tears! I even killed one and then ignored them after that.
didnt play the dlc yet,but those sound op af,to use some acronyms
This was insanely helpful. Now I know I don't need to fight them at all cuz I won't use any of those lol
The Oil Tear mixed with the Flame Shrouding tear and the Rolling Sparks ash of war on the Flamespark or Frenzy Flame perfume bottles = 12000 damage per cast.
Yeah i haven't been able to kill a single one yet because im doing faith arcane, so i do like no poise damage
Inf stamina and inf int flask with RoB goes crazy
Reflecting hard tear does way more than that, its actually broken af
Use the pest thread spears incantation, it'll be easier if you do. There's also one of these guys located in Rauh ancient ruins, DO NOT KILL THAT ONE, it has the best rune farm in the game.
I took down one and avoiding others, dodging its attacks are easy but considering massive HP the fights just feel like a chore
They look hard to beat, but trust once you get that initial stagger they’re actually pretty easy to kill.
I figured they dropped something. Some of those are pretty dammed cool! Might just have to farm some.
The stamina and blood tear is perfect for bleed
I may not play Elder Ring, but this looks both cool and also incredibly helpful if it is accurate
Use the stonebarb tear to deal extra poise DMG!
Wait i had no f'ing clue, that's great advice
Some of these just need to be rings/amulets.
That infinite stamina wouldve been great for the Final boss😭
Ancient dragon lighting strike attacks their weak spot
