I own a Cessna 140 1948 with C90. Mine has several inspection rings on the bottom of the wings but I could not detect any on yours. Perhaps it is just the camera angle or lighting. You are doing a wonderful job restoring this bird. Hope you have as much fun as I have with mine. I have owned mine 45 years and have logged over 2,300 fun filled hours on it. I still fly it regularly, I just turned 83. Good Luck, Leon
Hi Leon. Yes, when I covered the wings I placed the nylon inspection rings in the fabric, but have not cut the holes in yet. I’m definitely looking forward to putting some flight time on this one!
Glad to hear you say you painted the FACE of the blade black. How many people wrongly call that the back of the blade (which is polished in this case)? Everyone else!!
She's purdy!

Looking forward to seeing that thing flying! Congratulations on the engine run. It sounded great.
That sounds frickin smooth! At least smoother than ours! Good looking airframe, too. Congrats, man!
Congrats! The little airplane is looking so fine! Can't wait to see it fly!
Me too!
Purrs like a kitten.
Yeah it does!
