France: St Etienne fans clash with police after team’s relegation

- Angry Saint-Etienne fans stormed the playing area after their team lost to Auxerre and reportedly attacked some of the players.
Police used tear gas to disperse supporters.
The defeat ended an 18-year stay in the top flight for Saint Etienne..

People are expressing their feelings of anger, frustration, insactisfection at any time they can. Europe is on the brink of total and uncontrolled violence. Politics and money are everywhere .
Why not? Russia is frequently, like now, and the some part of the Middle East are always at it. Might as well join the 'fun'. We can't have people just living in peace and prosperity. That's not the human way.

If you treat football *fanatics* as minor nuisances when they cause serious damage like this, you create the conditions for future violations of the law.
There is video of this. Charge them all. Fine them two thousand euros each or put them to work in a chain gang for 3 months. Their choice.

That was barbaric and inhuman, football is in this last centaury becoming a progenitor of violence and unruly behavior.

Football hooligans are similar to violent people who infiltrate groups like Black Lives Matter and the Tea Party. Most people in both organizations (as with football) were normal people who did not desire to hurt others...but large groups always attract the dregs of society, who find that they are able to hide more easily amongst a large group than in a small community.
