Wow, that is very high praise and I definitely do not feel worthy considering how many better watch reviewers there are on UA-cam. Thank you for the kind words🤘😎🤘
Great-looking watch! I also do like watches with a brushed finish. Together with this brushed bezel/insert and black numbers, the watch has kind of industrial look. Thank you for the review.
Power reserve is great but there are Hamiltons, Tissots, etc that have 80 hour power reserves at a fraction of the cost. Not better or worse, just good to know what's available at every price range.
I try, I try😁. I started the channel with the intentions of casually talking about gear in a raw/unedited format, but over time I noticed that style actually made me look less casual and more unprepared/unknowledgeable. Now I prefer to spend the time researching as its way more meaningful and less taxing on the viewer who no longer has to try and decipher whatever words I'm trying to come up with on the fly.
I do love the Seamaster, but I've heard some not-so-stellar things about their QC. That one I might buy on the second-hand market, and if I can find a great deal on it then I'll snag one. Thanks for watching🤘
Man, such a great, tough looking watch. I am between two jobs at the moment. Once I settle in my new position I will treat myself and pull the trigger on this watch.
Got this watch on the distressed black leather strap and it's a beauty!!! Retro vibe accurate and looks like a tool not a fashion accessory in other words a keeper
That's one bad a$$ bezel.... I love a good bezel, and I love that in a market of "pretend tool watches," that the Black Bay is still the "real deal." Excellent review, and thanks for sharing it
It's easy to forget that many luxury watches were originally designed for very hard use. In a way many of them still are, unfortunately we as a community forget that because prices get so out of control that you wouldn't dare risk damaging the watch. I think the Black Bay is very much the real deal. Even just the simple addition of the traversing bridge provides a level of sturdiness you're not going to find in most other movements. Is it necessary? No, I think most other movements work just fine, but the added structural integrity makes it bulletproof🤘
I would be worried about accidentally breaking that domed sapphire crystal. That curve is just too much for me on a hard-hitting tool watch. I get the vintage element but we left that in the past for a good reason. I'll pass. But the rest of the watch is brilliant.
I would agree. In a perfect world I would have preferred a flat crystal or a more elevated bezel in relation to the crystal. However, to counter your argument, I've definitely had some "oh shit" moments with sapphire crystals where I accidently smacked them on surfaces with enough force to cringe, but they came out unscathed. I think there really needs to be some egregiously negligent care towards your watch to put it in any kind of serious risk. Regardless, crystal height is a factor to consider for any watch owner.
watches do come alive outdoors always look lot better, i use a 60x magnifier on my bb bronze which is even more close up than macro and just cant see a blemish, i really want the new speedmaster but you can get another 2 tudors for that price!
It's very strange how such a famous swiss company like Tudor is giving their best to be known as a one watch company....a ''black bay company''...that's very sad. That modified ETA is ok, more than ok (because there's no watch company in the world which is capable to develop its own movement), but that's only a 3500-4000 USD stainless steel thing on the wrist with an ETA. If they wanted to make an accurate watch, they could just take that ETA F06 quartz movement which is not a cheapo and it would perform a 1000 times better....but it would be a 400 USD watch, not 4000 watch. Anyway, a watch is ok. I don't know what is luxury about that watch, except the price tag. That's because i'm a fan of the more specialised tools, like Marathon, or Sinn which are not behind this watch by any means. By the way, they could add a drilled lugs. Good video Simucom Like
Incorrect, this movement in the Black Bay Steel is not an ETA movement, it's completely in house, with 70 hours of power reserve. This was released in 2017, and the Black Bay 58s (black, blue, bronze, gold and 925 silver) that have been released are in house as well. Where have you been for the last 5 years dude? 😎 Lol jk
@@pwally2714 Love the Tudor in-house movement. Although I'm a fan of the ETA movement too. I'm not sure how I feel about Tudor using Sellita movements, but that could just be because I don't like change.
Yes but still widely available. I see some on the second-hand market in various watch communities so it's not too hard to acquire if it's a watch you're interested in.
This is by far the best review of this watch here on UA-cam.
Wow, that is very high praise and I definitely do not feel worthy considering how many better watch reviewers there are on UA-cam. Thank you for the kind words🤘😎🤘
Best BB Heritage Steel review on UA-cam, period. Sold.
Wow, with so many great watch channels that is very high praise, thank you 🤘

Yes very industrial! Like I'm working at a high-end German sports car factory😁
Same here. If the new Pelagos was brushed stainless steel, not titanium, it would be extremely difficult to decide which one to pick...
That power reserve is great. I may have to save up for this beast. This has crazy features 😳 💯

Some deep knowledge on the movement there - nice!

Really great video, loved the watch! It would be really interesting to see you review more luxury watches (maybe a seamaster...?)

Great review, looking forward to more ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thank you, the support is much appreciated.
@@degenerateWA the last show with you and Trap was also great 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Excellent choice brotha. Wishing you nothing but prosperity in your new job🤘

To this day it remains my #1 watch.

Really cool piece! I like it! Congrats man!
Thank you. I've been eyeing the chrono version (poor man's Daytona) next. The brushed steel bezel will get me every single time.

Nice review!
For smaller wrists, that piece at 39mm case would be great!
I would have loved to see a steel BB58. They really should make one.

Omega's are definitely worth the extra IMO. There is a high likelihood that I choose Omega to be my next luxury watch
Love this Tudor. but I'd like Tudor to manufacture this with a white dial w/ black markers.
That would be a great option and would open it up to a larger audience for sure.
Awesome content my friend 🔥👊👊
Thank you sir🤘
Love the red triangle
Yeah dude, it's just a small touch that does so much for me.
Great vid. Great watch.
Thanks bro🤘
Many thanks for this.
You're very welcome🤘
Where did you find the song, and the title please? I like it a lot. Great video it helped for my future purchase!
It's called "Casablanca Caravan" from the UA-cam audio library in YT Studio. Thanks for watching🤘
Nice watch dude!!
Thanks bro🤘😎🤘
Accurate AF.

Another homage of my pagani 😂
This is actually an Invicta Pro Diver homage 😎.
