Thank you very much Chris for teaching others about my work. It means a lot. One note about the wallet: US dollars will also fit standing, vertically in the "coin compartment," leaving them completely hidden, and allowing quick access via the flap opening. Its even my preferred pocket for USD because I can flip through the bills easier. For Euros, I prefer the horizontal cash compartment, but of course I made it so dollars can fit in it as well. Also, I have updated the snaps. If you liked these, you will absolutely love the new ones, even stronger. With the Utila wallet, I wanted to make everyone happy 😊. Glad you like it and thanks again!
Absolutely. I didn’t demonstrate the bills unfolded in that pocket even though I should’ve. I just showed the bills folded in half because that’s how I carried them. But even MORE options are possible!
@@ChrispyThings you did fantastic! Even found new ways to carry with your video! It is impressive how much you can say in a short video. I have much to learn from you :)
I've tried time and again to go minimal. But life has dictated that I need the space. Contour ended up more hassle than what it was worth for me, other trayvax's just collecting dust along with my Craft and Lore selections. This thing though... This may in fact dethrone my old school style tri fold wallet from Mr. Lentz! If you've not reviewed his stuff I'd say he's got some unique stuff for sure. That said this has that appeal of open sea leathers stuff with extra storage and I'm all about it. I wasn't looking to buy a new wallet but now it seems I might have to 😆. Great review Chris! I'm happy to have discovered this... My wallet isn't 😅😎
Absolutely. If you need storage space then minimal isn’t for you. I’ll be opening up a bit on showing more classic style bifolds and such going forward.
It’s a little too thick for my liking but I really love how original and unique this thing looks. I’m also always a fan of two-tone leathers like that.
Wide and thick for a minamilist wallet. The measurements say 3.9 X 3.34, which is hard to believe. They should make this thinner. Like the width and length of a credit card
Hi there, see my reply to Chris above. USDs can also fit vertically inside the coin compartment, and it will keep the cash completely hidden from view. Just wanted to point out that one more features too :)
Great review! I’m still stuck on the Trayvax contour you recommended a few years ago, just upgraded to the titanium one also. Nothing else seems to have worked better for me. Great recommendation on that one! Also now available without the bottle opener and lanyard attachment point. I’m still a fan of the original contour since I attach my building scanner device and an AirTag to that point.
Not a fan of the bills sticking out like that. With more stores going the self-checkout route with the registers using the bill slot like on a soda machine, the less bent corners on bills the better. I don't tend to carry a lot of cash but when I do I like to keep the bills as crisp as possible for use with such machines.
I purchased one of these. I love it alot. Didn't want my cash sticking out either. I just fold it in half, and keep it in the cash pocket in the back. It is such a nice wallet, and if halving your bills is not a sticking point, I highly recommend it. Kervin is amazing to deal with, and the product is really spectacular. Edit: For context, I previously carried the Houbei 2.0 by Open Sea Leather for a long time. I like wallets with a little more capacity, but that still can reasonably be carried in the front pocket.

I want to like this wallet so bad because its just cool how much you can do with it but the cash sticking out is a deal breaker and its probably a bit on the big side compared to the johnny wallet from tempered trail

Wow, that is seriously cool. Very tempted to buy one. Problem is, I already purchased around 5 wallets this week, all based on your recommendation😂 Before your reviews, I thought I was fine with my American Eagle bifold wallet that I've carried for a decade....

Nice creativity, but I will pass.. don't like the exposed cash and I am kind of leaning towards RFID wallets ..keep the creative products coming
very cool wallet. their page looks like they're from the netherlands..missed opportunity to name it Nether Leather hahaa

If they are gathering dust, you could always sell them to another wallet enthusiast :)
Grab you a pair of scissors (fabric scissors okay), and simply trim your currency…and voila, issue resolved. Pretty cool wallet.

Great video! Love this wallet. To cover the bills could the vertical flap be tucked in to the horizontal flap w/snap to hide the bills?
Very interesting design! I love to see the continued innovation of wallet designs from makers all over the world.
Very nice. Reminds me of one of the Open Sea Leather wallets (but adds a button). The exposed edge for cash is the one aspect that bothers me.

I like the design but not the quality of the stitches.
Better then all your top 2023 wallets
Ooh let’s not get too crazy just yet.
Great review. I don't mind the bills sticking out. You can count your money without opening your wallet. 😅
This is a sharp looking wallet. I usually don't like wallets with a flap, but this one is nice. Good review as usual.

@PateplumaCo. would you be willing to extend the leather to hide the cash the horizontally as well?

How to order???
