What you said about taking everything in is so true. Coming over from cars too, I don't think I can go back. If I do, I'll have to get a sunroof minimum
Thank you man!!! Yeh definilty come a long way since then NEVER FORGET THAT DAY! Haha thank you for checking the channel and leaving a comment got a new video dropping tomorrow at 8pm and if you get a minute follow my twitch il be bringing streams when I hit 100 followers there www.twitch.tv/tarzanmotovlogs
Just passed my MSF course here in the states. Before the course I thought I could start on a 600 now I know I can because I will definitely take my time and respect the bike.
Actually I bought a 2009 ZX6R this year. Was surprised that the power kicks in late at 9.000. And when it does it kicks HARD, I nearly flew off the bike. The bike is very controllable, but uncomfortable for every day street use. Overall a very fun bike. Mine came with akrapovic and boy it screams. As always, something to keep in mind -> THE MOMENT YOUR BIKE NO LONGER SCARES YOU, IS THE MOMENT IT WILL KILL YOU.
Awesome video mate! I started on a Honda cbr 600 rr as my first bike a couple months ago and love it as well! The round abouts were a bit scary at first since I sometimes gave it a bit to much throttle as well but it's fine now. Loving the looks and the power!
Thanks man I appreciate you checking in! Good to hear as well sounds like your getting on good, come to the subscriber link up if your not too far from London! I will arrange it when the world calms down a bit more haha
@9.20 call it what it is, it's called a life saver, and that's exactly what it does, when your not shoulder checking/doing life savers your missing out on alot of information on the road conditions around you. Great content though, and also you sounded like you were very disciplined with the way you said you started riding and keeping the bike around 4000 revs. I can imagine it to be so easy to just wanna try and ride like Rossi. Subbed. Oh and what roads were you riding on in this vid?
Yeh good point 💯 thanks man! And yeh always thought rather be safe than sorry new bikes weren’t a joke so really took my time to build up skill and get a lot of experience on the bike I ended up getting a MT07 after this and it helped so much with confidence in every part of riding and now I enjoy riding soooo much more haha especially on the 701!!! This is just some road outside of Peterborough from Fengate out towards some villages This is rubbish compared to roads like borne to melton Mowbray down the A151 or oundle to corby The b664 from Uppingham is such a nice road aswell
crazy how oblivious car drivers are. grew up working construction. Some of the trucks would be so loaded up, the rear view mirror was useless. was always checking mirriors and remembering what car models and colors were around me at all times.
Hello bud, i started on vfr 800 2003 and had her for 3 years, last year i bought myself mint zx6r and i love it. Feels like its 100kg lighter than vfr 😉 stay safe ✌️
Yes TWisY, where you based bro? I’ve got a 08 zx6r in white and I love it up, my mrs may say to much. Any way I’m in Suffolk there’s a few tasty roads around here. If your ever up for it give me a shout and we can take you to some spots. Ride safe
Yo man im Peterborough have to check how far that is im on linking up tho if not far be good to have 2 of the same bike for a video aswell lol hit me up on insta @tarz4n_1
Hey man, love your videos, seen them all now,i was wondering if you've ever redlined a gear? i notice everytime you accelerate it's a bit out of the powerband and you change gears before the power kicks really kicks in,keep the videos coming, really solid work!
Thanks man I appreciate that! And go check the video called moving house on a motorcycle #zx6r I opened it full throttle and red lined to the max went from like 50mph to 120 in like 3 seconds i swear lol im guna check it now to see
I wanna start on a MT-07, I’ve had a year at 16 on a 50cc aerox moped so got the road knowledge from that and can happily ride little 125’s about. Just gunna go fucking slow, stay away from any built up areas for the first while and respect the power
Real good bike for you to start on I think, there’s a reason why they are so popular, think your learn fast on it, got some good power, look like real good fun, I’ve had a look into then a few times as I’m about to get a new bike but it’s guna stay a surprise haha with the mt just go at your own pace not gotta prove nothing to no one not guna win no prize just end up losing if sumin goes wrong, you sound like you got your head clear about it anyway I’m sure your be all good! Keep me posted man let me know how you get on
TWisY cheers for the advice bro it’s much appreciated I’m excited as fuck just grinding atm too get it. And come across your channel last night man and watched most your vids, I’m subbed man I look forward to seeing what bike you get!
Praying mantis awareness needed on bikes.. bike community is golden brh . U seem chilled . Its all good. Subbed. What was the insurance like for the 6?. Farkavrage
Yeh you know that! Thanks man👊 and for first year was around 900 then 340 for second now it’s around 140/170 for the mt this year I’m pretty sure il have to check again gotta renew end of the month
Go and join IAM - Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists, assigned to an Observor who will teach you IPSGA. It will make you a much smoother and safer rider. I ride an MT07 up from an R3. Best thing I ever embarked upon. It will totally change your riding style.
