Just got my Harsh Reality today. UPS guy was here when I pulled up. So now I’m watching this video with my un drilled Harsh on my spinner just admiring it 😁

Awesome! I hope you love it. It's surprisingly become my favorite ball right now, and I've been able to use it on all sorts of conditions

@@wsbproshopyes I can use it anytime. It hooked quit a bit then I cleaned it with a magic eraser not knowing that that sands it to around 4000 grit. It didn’t react as well so I took a used 2000 Abralon pad and sanded with that but it’s still not the same. Waiting on new pads hopefully I can fix it

I love the look of the harsh reality , even compared to the original reality. I hated the DNA , hated that thing , 2 different drillings , many surface preps , so glad to see a dull ball with some good movement

Yeah, the DNA definitely wasn't a back end monster. I like using mine as more of a medium ball that I can play straighter with. But the Harsh has basically usurped all heavy oil solids in my bag--it's too good

This video is so good--nice work! I didn't think I'd be interested in a Harsh Reality until seeing just how versatile it looks. Going to get one after the summer

Glad you liked it! Yeah it's surprisingly versatile--I wouldn't have expected that for a top shelf solid.

would you go pin up or down on a shot like this?

For me, definitely pin down. I like the smoother reaction down lane, especially when trying to manage the back ends of heavy oil.

55 x 5 1/4 x 40... is that your standard layout? Would you explain why, particularly the 5 1/4......I should have listened to the entire video before posting, thanks!

No prob--happy to explain. For me, having too much flare can make controlling the back end tough. 5 1/4 pin to PAP allows the ball to be a bit weaker and roll more forward at the back, so that I don't have to play with hand positions as much. I'd guess the average person gravitates toward 4, 4.5" or so... but that's too much back end for me

@wsbproshop My PSO has changed my kayouts to 5" to save energy for the back, as I have low ball speed.
BTW, you guys have the best logo and music. Would be interested to see multiple testers of the same ball at the same time.

Did you drill it pin down on harch reality

Sort of... it's pin in my middle finger. So, in between pin up and pin down. My favorite :)

Harsh for me Is not a big ball. I get more motion out of my Idol Cosmos. Don't like It.

I can see that. But that's kind of what I like out of the Harsh: it handles heavy oil, but doesn't have big back end. It's surprisignly controllable and versatile for me
