Fishing bro's. I cannot thank you enough for taking me into your world of fishing. Into the docks or wherever it may be I wish I was a little bit younger and or at least lived nearer the bodies of water you fish. I first learned flippin rubber worms for largemouth bass in small country ponds in northeast San Diego County about 40 years ago. So getting the opportunity to have ya all share your fishing has been a huge treat for me I get hours of it daily. So thank you. BP O'side, North San Diego County, California
Lawson you are the most accurate and skilled inshore fisherman I have seen. I have fished inshore in SW Florida for over 35 years. Thank you for showing others how to do it !!!!
Lawon--BTW I met you on the bridge / Shell station on your way to round island a month ago. Since that time I sold me SeaPro 172 and purchased a 16 flats shadowcast boat from Ankona boats in Fort Pierce. Has a draft of 5 inches with motor.
Rarely do I use bait, I'm an artificial person myself. However, from time to time I will use live shrimp, piggy or pin perch. With three of us fishing, we'll go through 15 dozen shrimp and 5 dozen perch on five hours. Usually that translates into 75 or so fish. It can definitely get pricey, but we get a lot of fish and have non-stop action.
Been fishing inshore saltwater for about 15 years, didnt get really serious about it until the last 3 or so years, Ive learned SOOOOO much from your videos, thank you for making these!
New to this channel just yesterday, and it immediately became the second of only two fishing channels that I'll be following religiously. Worth every minute. Great communicator! Entertaining and educational. Very interesting that I've yet to watch on of your videos where you use a net to retrieve fish, but this particular video was insane -- jumping in to chase the fish, incredible! Would not have even occurred to me. Glad you're on here and keep up the great work!
Great video and explanations on live shrimp tactics. Also it was nice that the fish were cooperating to show the great variety of fish you can catch with live shrimp.
Great vid. As a newcomer to Florida, and moving from a place (Oregon) where the fish are nothing like what there is here, I really appreciate the instructive approach.
This is the video that hooked me to your channel my man. As soon as I saw you ditch the boat I exited and clicked subscribe. To this day this is still my favorite video on your channel.
Dude my favorite vid to date...so informative ! For a fishing fan like me and not a guy who has time to be a hardcore fisherman I really appreciate you passing on some of that knowledge in such a detailed fomat. So when I do get time to fish I have a better chance at catchin...
Lawson, great video..Tons of great catches, many different species, gorgeous day and the, what is up....my dawgs.....Very informative as well!!!! thx, dawg
Hey Lawson, I just really wanted to give you props for a sensational video. Now I know that most avid fisherman understand a lot of this information, especially those who live or fish a lot in Florida. Nevertheless, your vid was extremely interesting to watch, well made, and informative. You also have a real knack for doing these instructional or informational videos so please do more if you have the time because they are very helpful. FYI, I live on Hilton Head Island, near the SC-GA border and this method works well up here too. The only problem is that we do not have nearly the number of species that you guys have, especially quality species of game fish, plus our water is much cloudier. As far as inshore fishing goes, we're pretty much limited to redfish, speckled trout, flounder, and Sheepshead, and during the summer months bait fishing tends to attract the undesirables, such as hard heads, pinfish, puffer fish, Stingrays and baby sharks. I used to live just south of Boca Raton, so I'm well acquainted with South Florida fishing and love it. I'll never forget the morning I was fishing on a sandbar in skinny water near some mangroves and I hooked up on a big Barracuda with my saltwater fly rod totally by surprise, as I was primarily targeting Snook. That was one hell of a fight. Again, please keep making these instructional videos because you have the knowledge and do a great job. Hope to see you on the water next time I'm down that way. do you ever make it up towards the Carolina Lowcountry?
Lawson great informative videos. I appreciate your concern for the fish’s well being. Having seen things in the Halifax River would be hard for me to jump in the water but great job.
Great post, glad you say, in my mind, Mutton Snapper correctly. of the 5 or 6 FL fishing post I watch, its always - Muuhinn or some fax. There are 2, count them, TWO dang T's in der fer cry eye. No more T shaming! :)
Explains that when using a circle hook you only need to reel down on the fish..... *Proceeds to Bill Dance the next fish* Love the vids man, keep em up!
Liked and subscribed! you are very entertaining and educational. Your fishing adventures are so different from mine in the mid-west. I was really thinking I was going to see an episode of Jaws 4 when you jumped into the water after that monster that got away!
6:32 40 pound JC (or that is what I assume it to be) vs. Lawson Lindsey..... DING DING DING!!!! ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzZZzzzzZZZZZZT SNAP! 40 pound JC wins that out right TUG OF WAR!!! Lawson walks away soaking wet in defeat! Better luck next time. The fact that you held on to that mistery fish for as long as you did running through the dock pilings and all the other structure, is amazing! No one can't say that you did not try to keep that fish under control.
WAY TO SACRIFICE BODY BRO!! Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. You're right it was prob a big ole crevasse but at least you went in after him!!!! Props to ya bro!! Sometimes nature wins and there's nothing you can do but at least you didn't puss out!😎👍👍
Love the dedication on jumping out for an acute chance at catching that big runner fish through the docks, that's commitment 💪😎
Lawson - "Who needs a rod I'll just grab the bonefish with my hand" Excellent video. Any chance you can do dead/frozen shrimp one of these times?

Also thought that immediately, they have a crazy first run
@@PieterSnyders yep almost seems like snag at first, they dive like crazy
Do you take your hood off when you hook into a fish for easier post processing? Like as an indicator when your going through footage ?
Southern Hook Fishing great question
Great video and explanations on live shrimp tactics. Also it was nice that the fish were cooperating to show the great variety of fish you can catch with live shrimp.
Thanks for the education. I’m a new year at saltwater/brackish water fishing. I learned a lot.
Know you're proud to have your boat back. Hang on to it. It fits the way you fish perfectly. Enjoy your content.
props Chelsea, and that was dope even though you lost it!
Good to see you respect and handle the bonefish correctly. Epic 🤙🤙

I immediately subscribed the moment you jumped out of that boat! I love the dedication. Thank you for the great video.
I watch a lot of fishing videos and yours are by far the most entertaining! It’s great for late night entertainment.
I love your videos, you’re like the only saltwater fisherman on UA-cam thank for posting so often love your videos
I'm new to fishing, but this entire time he reminds me of an American version of Shmee. Even uses the word "epic" appropriately. Subbing

Great info. The informative style videos are always a great view...right up there with collaborations.
I enjoyed it as usual, look at you leaving the boat, climbing in the water for a fish. Hey man, that was some serious commitment!
Thank you for getting back to showing us how to become a better fisherman you think you will do more diving them are really good to watch as well..
UA-cam captioned your intro as, “what’s up my dogs lost in here...” 😂 😂

A Bonefish? What a fishery you have there Lawson.
Lawson great informative videos. I appreciate your concern for the fish’s well being. Having seen things in the Halifax River would be hard for me to jump in the water but great job.
It had to have been a big Ray I've hooked them on light tackle while mackrel fishing.... They fight like hell 😂

Still one of the better videos. Beginners tutorial, ripping drag, multi species, nice location scenery and Larson gets wet. Twice. That's a fun video.
Sight casting bonefish..that was so cool.
That’s some dedication, hopping in to chase the catch.
Liked and subscribed! you are very entertaining and educational. Your fishing adventures are so different from mine in the mid-west. I was really thinking I was going to see an episode of Jaws 4 when you jumped into the water after that monster that got away!

Great video man! Fun fishing !!!
Good ol law doggy ❤
As soon as you hooked that fish I said get in the water😂. I least you tried. Probably a huge Crevalle like you said.
Great video man! Love fishing the Florida waters
Number one reason I always wear board shorts or trunks while boating. Never know when your gonna have to get out of the boat.
Live shrimp and croaker are the go to here on the MS Gulf Coast too!
I never thought there was that much explanation behind fishing live shrimp. Like all u gotta do it cast it out.
He’s trying to teach beginners how to fish you idiot , why don’t you learn from it instead of bitching about it
Good job on the video, I’d never heard of the knocker rig, do you use the heavier egg weight just to sink it faster or because of a stronger current?
How do you get these guys and what size of jig? How do you prevent them from stealing your shrimp?
WAY TO SACRIFICE BODY BRO!! Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. You're right it was prob a big ole crevasse but at least you went in after him!!!! Props to ya bro!! Sometimes nature wins and there's nothing you can do but at least you didn't puss out!😎👍👍
