Can you make a video welding a piece of rebar to a 1095 piece of steel or anything that's close to 1095 any high carbon steel
Ground down the tip of the rebar to be more similar to The knife billet with and I've even doubled the edges to make sure I get deep penetration on my weld

Don’t really have any 1095 steel that I know of, rebar is supposedly not the purest of metal but most of my videos are rebar to rebar.

I agree 140-160 looks good to me. Nice demo. Later

Good idea on the 045 wire! Nothing I have ever done with the wire feed is structural, mostly decorative things. I like the 7014 rod with the Lincoln! Thanks for watching!

Rusty, thanks for sharing video of your Tooliom. Couple of questions,
    1. Where you running .30 or .35 Flux Core Wire? The manual says to only use .35!
    2. A earlier video you said you where hooked up to 220v, have you ever run this machine at 110v on a 20Amp Breaker?
    THANKS Again

Mike, I have a Yeswelder #10 spool of .035 flux core on it since I got it. Seems to run cleaner than any other flux core I have tried. I have an old HF also.
I have never really welded with 120v on any of my welders. I tried it out on low amps for a short time but not long enough for a real opinion. Thanks for watching and good luck with the welder!

Yes but not as much as I used to, I had it fired up few months ago when I was comparing amps on the newer welder. Thanks for watching!

You might want to get a fan to disperse those toxic fumes
