one thing to keep in mind is there's always gonna be a lyrical song in a warioware. Body Rock, Ashley's song, Mona Pizza, etc. the good thing is they're all banngers.
This one honestly feels like the "Jump up, Super Star!" of WarioWare. A great song given to and performed by a previously underappreciated character that also serves to celebrate the franchise and the exciting new direction it's headed towards. What a wonderful game this is. Easily among the best of 2021.

Songs like this are why I'm so grateful I was able to grow up with Nintendo. They embody this childlike sense of fun and charm that other companies avoid to preserve their image. My friend and I played through the story on launch day and we had smiles on our faces as soon as the vocals kicked in. It's a memory I'll never forget.

It's all about precision with 9-Volt and knowing where to hit certain targets to beat each microgame the fastest once you're thrown in. Penny seems tricky at first, but once you get her in the right position to hover and shoot, some games are a cinch.

Im getting huge rhythm heaven vibes from this, Seriously they did not need to go all out for this, it’s such an amazing song, for a character that we thought wouldn’t show up, seriously it seems more people have gotten there own theme, years after there apperences, 18 volt didn’t get his own song until gold, and penny didn’t get her own song till this game as well. The reason this song is so good is to make up for the fact you will cry getting the 46 point requirement for the Mission “Master of Penny’s Mix.” I just did it, and it is HARD. Good luck to anyone who attempts it!
i was so sad when i thought I had finished the game and i hadn't unlocked penny, but then when i realised there was more and she was a character after all it actually made my day, her and ashley are definitely my favourite characters in warioware--
I've already commented on this topic, so I'll just copy and paste what I commented on the newest Nintendo Direct: Let's go over the facts. Penny is a pretty average, if not underrated, character. So underrated, that I've only seen people asking for her in Smash a few times, including here. Then the WarioWare: Get it Together trailer drops, and Penny is nowhere to be seen. She gets zero publicity, even in the "ending" of the game, where three characters are said to be missing: Red, Master Mantis, and Lulu. Penny, clearly is not among them. Then, it isn't until the end of the level before her own that she is finally confirmed to be playable. She is the second to last character in the game to be unlockable, and has the first, true, vocal song since WarioWare: Touched, on the DS. Plus, her gimmick is a water-jetpack, called "Jet Tank One." There's a lot to analyze with just these facts alone. For a start, as I mentioned, Penny got zero publicity, until the very end of the game. This led to one thing: Everyone thought she wasn't in the game. So, if not in the game, where is she? Well, I've heard rumors that she was in Smash, and was therefore not available to be a part of Get it Together. I'm not sure of the authenticity of those rumors, but let's say that they are actual rumors. If they are, then surely they must be disproven, as she ends up in the Get it Together, at the end of the day. But, let's talk about her into cutscene... Penny is in her lab, and has just developed "Jet Tank One," which can both be used in the game as a "weapon," of sorts. as well as a tool for mobility. This leads me to wonder why she was creating such a device in the first place. Not only that, but she's testing the damn thing and only becomes a playable character when she gets a phone call, and enters the game to assist the others. Hmm... A device that can be used as both a weapon, and a tool for movement sounds an awful lot like something you'd see in Smash Bros. Then, in her stages, her theme is the first real piece of Lyrical WarioWare music, since 2004. Surely such a thing would make it into Smash Bros, right? Ashly's theme is there, after all. Now, being an underrated character, with a massive spotlight on her from her theme, People are paying attention to her, as her theme has taken that attention from Ashly. Talking more about Smash Bros, No reference of Penny appears anywhere in the game. No assist trophies, No spirits, and Not even a Mii costume. This means that, if she does get in, it'll be the first time she's ever appeared in a Smash Bros game... A clean slate, if you will. Now, this is just a theory, and the chances of Penny actually making it into Smash are slim to none, but there's always the possibility.
I loved this level a lot. And I really like Penny's playstyle here! It takes some getting used to, but it feels like the most unique playstyle in the game, imo. No wonder she gets her own dedicated level. I still want Ashley in Smash, but I would be just as happy with Penny in Smash lol.
@@peachymiku6432 Typically, my crew of 5 is Ashley, Orbulon, 5-Volt, Red, and Lulu, but maybe if I practiced with Penny more the way I did with 5-Volt, she'd be a fixture, too! I do really like her playstyle, she's just a little complicated, haha.

I'd say the difficulty with Penny lies with how she's easily the most complicated character, but there are a lot of games she excels at, if you take the time to play as her!

As soon as I heard this in-game I knew I needed to find it for general listening, and clearly the internet thought it was a priority as well, as this is one of the only songs to have its own upload outside of the entire OST in one video on the game's release day lol.
When I got up to this part I was playing it while my little sister was in my room and coincidentally her name is penny too and she had the biggest smile on her face and she was enjoying this song so much 😭
I wish Nintendo did more with the WarioWare cast, they are SOOO good. I hope this game does good in sales to motivate more WarioWares. After WarioWare Gold's lower sales, I'm not gonna lie I got pretty scared for the series.
This gave me an immense amount of nostalgia but I don't know what to. I feel like it should be to Rhythm Heaven vocal songs, but I feel the most reminded of English covers for peppy Vocaloid songs when I hear this.

Mona Pizza, Drifting Away, Ashley's Song, Body Rock, Yellow Murmur, Wario Deluxe, and now this. I've always loved the microgame sets where you play to the rhythm of a song. I don't actually like Penny's section since Penny is hard to control, but her song is one of the best, rivaling Body Rock.

Im getting huge rhythm heaven vibes from this, Seriously they did not need to go all out for this, it’s such an amazing song, for a character that we thought wouldn’t show up, seriously it seems more people have gotten there own theme, years after there apperences, 18 volt didn’t get his own song until gold, and penny didn’t get her own song till this game as well.

I've already commented on this topic, so I'll just copy and paste what I commented on the newest Nintendo Direct:
Let's go over the facts. Penny is a pretty average, if not underrated, character. So underrated, that I've only seen people asking for her in Smash a few times, including here. Then the WarioWare: Get it Together trailer drops, and Penny is nowhere to be seen. She gets zero publicity, even in the "ending" of the game, where three characters are said to be missing: Red, Master Mantis, and Lulu. Penny, clearly is not among them.
Then, it isn't until the end of the level before her own that she is finally confirmed to be playable. She is the second to last character in the game to be unlockable, and has the first, true, vocal song since WarioWare: Touched, on the DS. Plus, her gimmick is a water-jetpack, called "Jet Tank One."
There's a lot to analyze with just these facts alone.
For a start, as I mentioned, Penny got zero publicity, until the very end of the game. This led to one thing: Everyone thought she wasn't in the game. So, if not in the game, where is she? Well, I've heard rumors that she was in Smash, and was therefore not available to be a part of Get it Together. I'm not sure of the authenticity of those rumors, but let's say that they are actual rumors. If they are, then surely they must be disproven, as she ends up in the Get it Together, at the end of the day. But, let's talk about her into cutscene...
Penny is in her lab, and has just developed "Jet Tank One," which can both be used in the game as a "weapon," of sorts. as well as a tool for mobility. This leads me to wonder why she was creating such a device in the first place. Not only that, but she's testing the damn thing and only becomes a playable character when she gets a phone call, and enters the game to assist the others.
Hmm... A device that can be used as both a weapon, and a tool for movement sounds an awful lot like something you'd see in Smash Bros. Then, in her stages, her theme is the first real piece of Lyrical WarioWare music, since 2004. Surely such a thing would make it into Smash Bros, right? Ashly's theme is there, after all.
Now, being an underrated character, with a massive spotlight on her from her theme, People are paying attention to her, as her theme has taken that attention from Ashly. Talking more about Smash Bros, No reference of Penny appears anywhere in the game. No assist trophies, No spirits, and Not even a Mii costume. This means that, if she does get in, it'll be the first time she's ever appeared in a Smash Bros game... A clean slate, if you will.
Now, this is just a theory, and the chances of Penny actually making it into Smash are slim to none, but there's always the possibility.

I loved this level a lot. And I really like Penny's playstyle here! It takes some getting used to, but it feels like the most unique playstyle in the game, imo. No wonder she gets her own dedicated level.
I still want Ashley in Smash, but I would be just as happy with Penny in Smash lol.

@@peachymiku6432 Typically, my crew of 5 is Ashley, Orbulon, 5-Volt, Red, and Lulu, but maybe if I practiced with Penny more the way I did with 5-Volt, she'd be a fixture, too! I do really like her playstyle, she's just a little complicated, haha.

I'd say the difficulty with Penny lies with how she's easily the most complicated character, but there are a lot of games she excels at, if you take the time to play as her!

As soon as I heard this in-game I knew I needed to find it for general listening, and clearly the internet thought it was a priority as well, as this is one of the only songs to have its own upload outside of the entire OST in one video on the game's release day lol.
When I got up to this part I was playing it while my little sister was in my room and coincidentally her name is penny too and she had the biggest smile on her face and she was enjoying this song so much 😭
