I'm honestly impressed at how well they were able to resist just filling the entire games with references. By doing so they have been able to keep the identities of both games unique.
From all of these references, I feel like it's pretty safe to say that these two franchises exist in the same universe. Meaning, the rhythm heaven franchise also exists within the Mario universe.
You forgot to mention the Alien Bunnies being in every Rhythm Heaven game, and The Wandering Samurai appearing in a microgame in Game & Wario's Gamer mode.
There's another reference in Rhythm Tengoku. One of the results screens of the Quiz Show stages shows a city and a bridge, which looks almost identical to a shot from Dribble & Spitz's intro in WarioWare Inc.
SPOILER . . . . . . the appearance of young crickets training partner in his stage for warioware move it (hell they even gave her a name: Cicada) basically confirms theyre in the same world more heavily
Even though there hasn’t been a Rhythm Heaven game in ages, it makes me happy that the devs clearly adore the series just as much as the fans do. This gives me hope for a new game, and even if it never happens, just seeing the references makes me smile.
Most of the people watching this video fail to realize that at 0:57 the video was slowed down specifically to show the chorus kids. This is because the creator of the video figured it would be a given who they were, which is evident by the obscene amount of people commenting “oH yOu FoRgOt To MeNtIoN tHe ChOrUs KiDs At 0:57 🤓” and also literally calling them by name. Not everything needs to be spelled out for you on a silver platter. However, I can’t forgive the creator for missing the Rhythm Tweezers onion plush at 4:15.
i swear, the girl next to those glee club kids looks like shes from the rhythm heaven/paradise games too! (one of the minigames, im not sure which one, if she is in one)
also the sound at 0:59 that plays while Wario is shocked sounds like the one from Quiz Show, although it may just be a generic sound that Nintendo had that just happened to uses for both games.
So. Mario, Wario, Donkey Kong, Paper Mario, Punch Out, Rythm Heaven, Bomberman, Rayman and the Rabbids, Conker and Banjo Kazooie are in the same universe right?
what opening music was that? Also this is an extremley amazing video I must say seeing how there we're a lot of rhythm heaven references In warioware Including rhythm heaven itself.
Warioware devs looking at Rhythm Heaven and thinking: "Oh, who has created this fabulous game series I wonder???"
Also Nintendo: "Ahem...... y-you?"
In true Wario fashion, self love.
Plot twist: Warioware devs created rhythm heaven
in fact, both franchises were made by the same development team
@@DevibriBnuuy That's seemingly meta-true as well, considering the Rhythm Heaven microgame in Warioware Gold.
Nah homie I think Mario and WarioWare are separate universes but Mario exists in WarioWares universe and Wario exists in Mario's universe
@@holospade30 Mario was a game made by WarioWare Inc. and they put Wario in as a reference
Karate Joe and Mario should interact
At this point, it feels like the devs want these two series to exist in the same universe
That would make Rhythm Heaven part of the Mario universe
@@SuperSomieStuff That's... a very good point
I think they do
@@SuperSomieStuff ur right
@@SuperSomieStuff this means 911 never happened in the mario universe which means that the mario movie is a seperate entity from the mario universe

Like dont they appear on Wario Ware Inc? For orbulon?
@@CodeKirby Yep! I think they appear in a few WarioWare games after that.
You also forgot the onion from rhythm tweezers in Mona’s room
Just give me a Rhythm Heaven on the switch already.
Tsunku has No throat, so it's all over.................. Unless someone makes a fan game with all of these Rhythm Heaven Games.
Warioware made a new game, so they can make it on the switch.
His daughter sang the song for Honeybee Remix in Megamix. So there is hope
Heaven studio got DMCA’d
Nintendo be like: NO! RHYTHM HEAVEN IS A FAILURE AND FAILURES DON'T DESERVE TO CONTINUE!
A lot of these references come naturally because both series actually share a character artist! Ko Takeuchi!
Also made by the same devs
At 4:16 in Mona's room, just underneath the barista is a rhythm tweezers onion in a pink bag!
So from what I’m able to gather at 3:49, 9 Volt’s school studies the Huebirds of Happiness. Likely, in relation to their migration patterns.
There's another reference in Rhythm Tengoku. One of the results screens of the Quiz Show stages shows a city and a bridge, which looks almost identical to a shot from Dribble & Spitz's intro in WarioWare Inc.
Fun fact: the female student of Kung Fu ball returns in warioware move it but with new name, cicada
One thing you missed: the Kung Fu Ball girl can also be seen in Mantis’ gallery in Get It Together
The female student from Rhythm Heaven Fever also reappears in WarioWare: Move It at the ending cutscene of Young Cricket's Stage.

I genuinely do hope that they make another RH game, they love to reference it and it'd be neat to see a new game reference warioware again too
0:33 fun fact. Budget Cricket's opponent appears in WW Move It!
0:56 Bro really mentioned the monkey but not the Glee Club reference.
The video was slowed down when the Chorus Kids appeared, they were too obvious to need dialogue
i love this video. gets right to the point without fluff or any obnoxious voiceovers
I didn't know Warioware had references as early as Smooth Moves. The only game was Tengoku at the time
Also, in the volts' character trailer for WarioWare Gold, the two DJs from Rhythm Heaven DS are there for like one second
Those are 2 DJs are lookin cool
@@LunaVanessaTheDNBAnon Yessss they're my favorite characters :D
For Warioware gold, you forgot to mention on Jimmy T’s character trailer the background is from Love Rap 2
The way this video ws made feels like it was something from 2009 and I love it.

True
4:15 there was the onion from rhythm tweezers in the bag
0:29 And the female one is Cicada! 👧
you forgot that in rythym tengoku gba remix 6, the litlle guys from orbulon's stage from warioware inc appear
This makes me wonder how we don't have a Rhythm Heaven game on Switch after all those years
man and now in warioware get it together they just outright confirmed that the male student IS young cricket
4:14 how could you miss our Onion boy
0:57 dont forget about the glee club bois at the left of the tv screen
That's why the video was slowed down, probably because it didn't need anything to be said
I swear, people don’t pay attention.
i swear, the girl next to those glee club kids looks like shes from the rhythm heaven/paradise games too! (one of the minigames, im not sure which one, if she is in one)
I wasn't expecting that many, such unique and fun games.
3:16 There's also the Munchy Monk and Power Calligraphy (Prologue) background
0:58 bro didn't see glee club guys
Yes. He. Did. You just failed to pick up on context clues.
Wait, you missed one, at 4:12, there is one of the onions in the groccery bag under the Barista plushie
Tibby (the little pink afro guy, mascot for rhythm heaven megamix) can also be seen as a plushie in warioware gold
At 4:16 a rhythm tweezer onion can be seen below tibby
The pictures like near the desk i think thats a picture of tram and pauline
4:12 also has a plushie of the Onion from Rhythm Tweezers near the bottom-right
also the sound at 0:59 that plays while Wario is shocked sounds like the one from Quiz Show, although it may just be a generic sound that Nintendo had that just happened to uses for both games.
tibby is also there
now we wait for warioware move it to have a reference every other second
the tweezers onion can be seen in monas room
The fact that they made the meat bun girl from smooth moves and the kung fu ball girl the same person is pretty cool.
Update: In WarioWare Move it, there is a character named Cicada, who resembles the female student from kung-fu ball.
4:12 in shop bag is aslo mr onion
The Wario-Ware and Rhythm Heaven Cinematic Universe looking so hype.
In rhythm heaven megamix that one bunny minigame has mikes song instrumental as its music
4:18 in the pink bag theres a rhythm tweezers onion
I think these references are because they are by the same people
what if they made a wario ware game and watch like they did with mario and zelda
What if rhythm Heaven megamix had a challenge mode called "spacetoon, young future channel"?
theres a trailer for wario ware gold were dj yellow and student from rhythm heaven appear doing a cameo, i cant remember which one is it tho
0:57 the chorus (i forgot the name of the minigame)
It’s glee club, and I hate that game.
4:18
...and the Rhythm Tweezers reference in the bag too!
let’s not forget the dude in get swole in sports on get it together is pretty much a reference.
Surprising how dinosaurs and phones exist at the same time.
WarioWare: Move It! Chorus Kids, Reporter, Wrestler X, Barista
SO MUCH LORE POTENTIAL, HOLY SHIT!!!
ESPECIALLY WITH THE SPACE DUDES!!!
you missed the chorus kids at 0:57
He also missed the hairy onion at 4:13
It was slowed for a reason
The first one is just you people being dumb, the other one is completely unforgivable on the creator’s part.
4:16 u missed the onion in the box aswell from rhythm tweezers
In Get It Together, there was a Hair Vegetable from Rhythm Tweezers in Mona’s Room. Just wanted to quickly point that out.
0:41 mentioning young cricket but not ana? smh biased
3:11 huh damn nevermind i guess
Rhythm heaven and Mario exist in the same universe

Yes they can
wow this is so cool
Every time I see you I have to smile.
@@RhythicManRhythm aw, thank you.
In Warioware: Gold, dialing the phone code "CAFE" will allow you to call the barista from Rhythm Heaven.
The male student in Kung Fu Ball IS Cricket. That's the point of Cricket's Gold promo.
Although everyone noticed it, you forgot the glee club reference in game & wario
How about bunny hop from tengoku? The song is also in a Warioware game
Each time Warioware gets a new game, this video gets updated.
I played Get It Together and saw like 5000 space rabbit references
There's also a samurai slice minigame in game 'n' wario.
4:18 ish
also an onion in the bag!
Glee kid speed run skip 0:57
Not knowing why the video was slowed down any%
Well that explains their credits at the end- 😅
Rhythm heaven and Warioware share the same universe!
So. Mario, Wario, Donkey Kong, Paper Mario, Punch Out, Rythm Heaven, Bomberman, Rayman and the Rabbids, Conker and Banjo Kazooie are in the same universe right?
We'll get more in _Move It!!_
Time will tell when the game is released
Do you think warioware would make a great tv show
he forgot to point out the glee club members on the second channel we see wario scroll through
He slowed down the footage genius.
4:15 u missed the onion plush
Can't wait for the cross-over, Rhythm Wario
Wario Heaven
Neither of which are gonna happen at the hands of Nintendo.
I hope we get another rhythm Heaven game within the next couple years
Or really at all
why this fells like a video of 2010 💀
You forgot move it
Looking at the date the video is published, I think this was done before Move It was released.
onion? picking game with the hairs is in the room in a bag
WW 🤜🤛 RH
I want warioware to be a tv series
Love this!!
I feel like these two series exist in the same universe
I'm pretty sure Rhythm Heaven's female student from Kung fu ball is young mona

I have to admit Ashley looks like RH style

The female student is actually mona apparently
Not really, notice the hair color. And don’t say it’s Ana because they can’t be in the same age. Cricket is older than Kat and Ana.
well she looks like ana lol
2:14 where is the reference?
