A lot of viewers that are interested in buying the Clarisonic for acne watched my Soniclear review and requested a comparison between the two brushes. I have a Clarisonic Mia 2 that I replaced with my Michael Todd Soniclear which I used for the video. There are some important differences between the two brushes. The most important is that the Soniclear is antimicrobial and kills leftover bacteria on its brush head. The Soniclear has a nonslip grip and comes with a body brush while the Clarisonic body brush can only be used with the Plus and not the Mia 2.
In the side by side comparison I did, the Clarisonic before and after shows more remaining dirt and makeup then the Soniclear. Not only do I feel that the Soniclear cleaned my face better, but it felt better on my face and wasn’t as harsh.

So happy to have a cruelty free version of the clarisonic! I got the soniclear petite for 89 and it's a cute aqua color with a floral print. I'm so against supporting animal testing hopefully clarisonic goes cruelty free someday!

U should never use clarisonic in circular motions!!!! They said it in the booklet Never...its not a brush , its oscilliation water technologie ....i used it for 7years u just place it on ur skin and let it work with straight line motion ps: my skin is perfecly balance xox
I love my soniclear...I got it at ulta it was 50% off when I bought it. it's purple with flowers and came with 3 cleansers and body brush! Michael Todd was first to have microcrobrial brush heads too. also didn't break out from it

The Clarisonic is antibacterial too. I've called Clarisonic to clarify that out.
And people should be washing their brush heads with either device.

Thanks for the review. I saw the Clarisonic on TSV and was considering it but I had just gotten the Michael todd elite. The warranty is 5 years, already makes it better and brush heads last 6 months, plus all the different heads are cool, for serum and feet. I questioned my purchase but now I’m not, especially after reading lots of complaints of battery dying out of warranty which is what stopped me from buying one initially!
Thank you very helpful - I was on the fence about which one to get - I wear a mask a lot and now I have mask ache - boiling my masks after washing them helps too

My Michael Todd charcoal cleansing gel is my all time favorite face wash. But when I wear makeup I have to do an initial wipe off with makeup remover wipes. I can’t take my Clarisonic directly to my face with makeup on. I try to extend the life of the brush heads as much as possible. I have a Clarisonic because I got it as a gift and didn’t have to spend a ton of money.
Are both head’s compatible with each other??

I had (HAD) a Clarisonic Mia (1), it stopped charging properly and by the time I complained (having established I was definitely charging it properly) they messed me around for weeks (asking me to fill in a form, saying they couldn't do anything because I didn't have receipt, then when I provided credit card statement, they said it was over a year old, which they knew at the beginning of our dialogue) before saying it was out of the guarantee period. I loved my Clarisonic but the Mia 1 only had a 1 year guarantee. Maybe the newer Clarisonics are better, -I notice they have a 2 year guarantee. But because of the way they treated me, I will not give them any more of my money. SO, Gina M, your positive review of the Soniclear is very interesting to me. Do you know if the battery is trouble free?
I know this is old but the Michael todd elite has a 5 year warranty.

I recommend the clarisonic Mia fit it's extremely gentle and in my personal preference it's better then the Michael Todd one
What speed do you usually use with the Soniclear?
Is it ok to keep the Soniclear on the charger all the time or will it wear out the battery?
I think a fairer comparison to the Michael Todd one would be the Mia 3 or the plus.
Also it's everyone's personal preference I by far prefer my clarisonic Mia fit.
Hi! I heard the soniclear was more sanitary then the clarisonic is that true? Also do you need to replace the brush heads? I hate doing that with my clarisonic
Jo Luppino yeah you still have to replace the brush heads, they are less expensive than the Clarisonic but not much cheaper.
The soniclear brush heads need to be replaced every 6 months according to the website, and the brush heads are 18 a piece

I have sensitive skin that is eczema prone and acne prone. I'm looking for a brush that won't irritate my skin. Which one do you suggest?
I find the the Soniclear to be more gentle. I wouldn't recommend exfoliating too much though if you have eczema.

Hey, I'm really interested in buying the soniclear after seeing your review... I'm hooked! But My question is how often do you have to replace the brushes for it? I almost bought mia2 but I changed my mind because it adds up in the end when you have to by replace brushes every three months. Is the Soniclear the same thing?
MaKeUpGiRl320 I have not been able to find the time that you are supposed to replace it. But I would think they would last longer since they are antimicrobial. I will probably just replace mine when I can tell its worn out. But mine still looks brand new after a year!
I bought a Soniclear cuz I saw this video and I called the customer service with the same question about how long the brushes will last and they told me you only have to replace them every 6 months which is AMAZING. Hope this helps!
