Asmon is only half right. He blamed not wanting to look sexist, but that's just a guise. The true reason is camgirls make bank, and Twitch doesn't want to turn off that tap.

The emperor's new clothes is apt for a lot of modern culture. Everyone turns a blind eye to the obvious to avoid backlash. Bad actors are allowed to corrupt once innocent communities and concepts and they can stick around by using these corrupted groups as a shield against criticism. In a just world, those that exploit otherwise constructive social movements with malicious intent would simply be called out and ousted from the community, but now people live with the very real fear that someone they don't know and would likely never meet in person can ruin their lives with the press of a few buttons.

But I've been saying for a long time to my friends and commenting that these females are the predators/predators foot soldiers to lure in their prey i.e. males. This "sex trafficking" as if they're being kidnapped against their will is another way for them to play the victim game. These females are willfully working for a company to sell sex on these websites. Children are on twitch and they're trying to sexualize these boys when they're young to setup present and future customers.

that's not true, they have to care about social backlash, because the more people will criticize them for making basically softporn, the more this platform will have just as bad reputation as regular porn site, and companies want to strive away from being associated with such content, thus they won't pay them money for placing their ads there
it's not about what people stream there, but actually about what society thinks about that content, so social backlash is extremely important to them

    The problem is three fold:
    - Advertisers do not want to be on sexualized content
    - VISA demands censorship of all human sexualization (VISA is responsible for cosplayers being punished on multiple platforms, not just twitch)
    - Asymmetric purity beliefs that only women's chests are sexual but not mens.
So you solve that by balkanizing the platform so that all the sexual content completely disappears from discovery (see SKEB) by default, and then use moderation techniques to enforce it. If an only fans or a fansly link is in their page, or mentioned in their chat, it gets flagged for a human check. If the stream appears to be pre-recoded and isn't flagged as such, ban it.

They can solve the first problem easily with either automated systems to automatically detect stuff, something UA-cam is really good at, and/or more strictly enforcing their tagging system they added. The whole point of that system was so that advertisers could choose exactly what types of content they didn't want to appear in front of.
Also, I don't understand the VISA thing. I'm not saying you're wrong, but it doesn't make sense that they'd make a deal with onlyfans to allow it to be used on the platform (granted, while also limiting the types of sexual content to purely vanilla stuff), while also going after much less severe sexual content.

its piss easy to tell when someone is selling onlyfans, all these metas that are controversial are controversial because they are explicitly sexual in nature and serves no purpose but to be sexual. why would a streamer do something sexual if they weren't intending to profit off that sexuality

Nothing in life has hard boundaries. But for 99% cases common sense works fine and the other 1% will always be subjective. If the average person can tell somebody is just pushing sex content then what else do you need?

@@XiaoYueMao The goal was to stop people advertising external sexual services on Twitch. But of course if we want to stop all streams that are "sexual in nature" it's a different story.

Until this day, i can't explain what is the reason behind this "black censored meta" and what is the reason for the viewer to watch and donate money to them, don't they know if por* websites have live streams too? Why do they live or watch this nudnud content on twitch where it's supposed to be a game related live streams platform
