Supposedly "original gangster”, can be seen as “old generation", personally viewed as “old-school”.🤓
I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Korean and rap music were my coping mechanisms from the bullying I experienced in middle school through high school and my love for the genre has stuck by me ever since.
Unfortunately, I took a huge break from Korean music around 2015 when I was officially diagnosed with lupus nephritis and seizures; I was receiving and battling years of chemotherapy and dialysis along with taking 32 pills a day, so I had no mental/emotional/spiritual room to keep myself updated with the genre. Luckily, I'm in remission now! Doesn't mean that lupus and seizures are gone because I am still very capable of frequent flare-ups of I don't take care of myself, but I make sure to do so enough to manage and live as "normally" as possible.
When I made this UA-cam name, I was thinking from my graphic-design-major perspective of a brand that will not only describe what my content will be about but will also align with the times, and y’all know that “Kpop stans” have been a thang for awhile now so hence the cringe-worthy title, OG KPOP STAN. (My love for Eminem is also relevant.😂) ALSO! Just to be SUPER clear- me calling myself an "OG kpop stan" does NOT mean that anyone who's listened to kpop after me is inferior or less-than. A kpop lifestyle is a kpop lifestyle regardless of time. Please don’t get that sh*t twisted.😛

Huge props to Vivi - When she arrived in Korea, she didn't speak any Korean. She struggle so much to find her singing voice and to sing in Korean (to make sure she is pronouncing it correctly). To produce her solo song, took a lot from Vivi...I am so happy it all paid off as her solo song came out so great!
Since you are starting to get into Sonatine, I suggest that you start reading the descriptions of the mvs from there on if you want to be interested in the lore

I was so disappointed that they only did a short MV for You&Me Together that I edited a full-length version for my channel. They never promoted their singles on TV, only the subunit songs, so You&Me Together was actually the first Loona song ever on a TV show (Inkigayo) together with Love&Live. It was a very emotional night for us old-bits, because a TV audience was seeing Loona for the first time :)...

In Love and Live, ViVi makes her heart beat again by letting her battery run out
Her MV is a recreation of her human memories, which is why it's based in an earlier era, but it's not fully recreated as it has different elements from reality, like Loona 1/3 being there when they probably weren't, that kind of stuff
the theory is its based off of what happened in new, with yves and vivi at the skating place. She loved yves but due to her memory loss its a dream and shes imagining yves as a boy

i mean tbh the struggle with falling down the loona rabbit hole is that for a group thats only been around since 2016(if you include solos) the hole is ridiculously DEEP and at least for me once you reach the bottom of that hole you just tend to dig that hole deeper XD great content as always!
