You are so good. Synths are part of what got me into studying electronics! I study engineering also because I love engineering itself, but can't deny that a great part of the attraction to engineering is the art it helps generate in the world. These analogue synths are a distillation of pure beauty!
@@synthi62 I use that too. Are you still enjoying the Prophet 10? I know they are very different but how does the virus, the jp8000 and the voyager (minimoog) compare? I have those synths too, would you put the prophet 10 in the same category of King synths? Does it's lack of extra lfo etc bother you compared to the previous mentioned synths? I was thinking about getting one but imo, the other synths can get close. Do you think it adds enough? Should I get one? 😆 Do you love it as much as the others? I know jp8000 and virus are digital and will naturally sound quite different in weight (high end air). Does the prophet doing a chord or lead sound that much more gratifying? (P.s I'm quite fussy with sound, I'm not keen on most VST's apart from Hive, Nexus, Diva, Spire, Dune which I find just about acceptable). Also congrats. Very enjoyable. All very nicely done indeed.
Hey, no, the oscillators are not synchronized. But the two oscillators are very attuned to each other so that it sounds like a synchronized station. I also use the distortion of the Kurzweil mangler from 4:44 onwards. best wishes and thanx a lot..
@@synthi62 Were you doing filter fm (i.e. modulating the filter at audio rate with the 3rd oscillator)? Oscillator sync and pwm are two things I wish the minimoog could do. I have a prophet 10 and it can do those things and is also great in unison mode but it's not quite a minimoog.
@@creightonmoench6894 I did Filter fm from 1:15 to 2:30. I love the Minimoog as it is: without OSC sync and PWM. And the Prophet-10 just as it is. Different instruments and different characteristics. After all, a Porsche is not like a Mercedes 😀
Such a joy to hear these instruments in the hands of a master. The mini in particular sounds beautiful.

Me too!
This sits about at the middle of a triangle of Pink Floyd, Styx, and Yes. Very nice!
Great! what a wall of sounds!
Very nice, please post more of this combo!
Really enjoyed listening. Thanks for posting.
awesome! patching moog on the fly 👏👏. I love your improv with those two great analog synths.
Brilliant, well done. Only just found your channel, amazed I don’t have more subs. Can learn so much just watching how u work ❤
Beindruckend! Dietmar, du bist einer der Wenigen die die wahre Ästhetik des Klangs dieser Instrumente hervorbringen können.
sounds great 🎹
Should have a million views.
I had a good moment, thanks! Subscribed!
Can you share your preset (prophet) please at 3min43 ? 🙏 so beautiful 😻
Floyd lives! I'm not a player of the keys, but sure do love it. A wall of sound and music. Great playing🎶👍
Cool gemacht!
Amazing!!!
Very nice!
Great !!! Fantastic !!! Thank you
ich habe es mir eben nach vier Monaten nochmal angehöhrt. Es hat nichts an Energie verloren.
best of best
🙏
Awesome! What chorus did you use on the Prophet?

It almost sounds like there's oscillator sync on your minimoog e.g. at about 5:41. Is yours modded or am i just imaginging things?
