Thank you for being willing to show us this info. No one would blame you for charging people to learn this but you are just one of the best guys in the hobby! Thank you for everything you do RGL
Completely agree with what you said. COMC is great for collectors and I would rather give a 2 dollar card away to someone who wants it than horde them for no reason.
RGL, you’ve taught me everything I know about COMC and a lot of things about the hobby and I am forever indebted to you and the information you provide to those in your community. Hope to see more informational videos in the future and keep up the great content :)
7:06 FYI, I noticed that your gaming cards (Pokemon) are mixed in with your sports cards. You have to separate them or you will be charged an additional processing fee. YIKES! You can keep them in the same box, but they have to be clearly divided from the other submission. I have the same Top 10 goal. I’m currently in the Top 100. Getting there slowly with 20k cards at $200k+ listed inventory.
@@TNT-vn6cm Yes. Just as long as they are clearly separated within the box. For example, if I have separate categories in the same row box, I put cardboard dividers between them. I then place my submission slips on top of each section. The processing team is very competent.
Big fan of comc. I've sold just over 13k worth of swag over there... all cards that I didn't care about. Saves a ton of time and energy. Right now I'm working on the 2021 topps walmart foilboard set that is #/790... up to around 430 of the 660. Every card was bought from comc. Been a fun little low end set chase.
Thanks for starting this COMC series! This video was very helpful. My biggest barrier to selling on COMC is figuring out what to list. My fear is that I pay 50 cents or a dollar to list a bunch of cards and they don’t sell at a decent price or at all. This video was helpful. I’ll try to send some cards soon.
thanks for the video. it just so happens that I sent in around 20 cards to comc as a small test to see how it all works and now this video was in my suggested videos. This is great. My cards are at the COMC warehouse and I am now waiting me 2 weeks to have the cards uploaded. I cant wait to see what the rest of the process looks like (pricing, selling, offers, withdrawing funds etc)
Thank you for the help. I live on an island in Canada where there is no sports cards stores, and the only retail place for cards is Walmart. I will start looking into COMC so I could finally sell some of my cards ive been holding onto for a while now. I appreciate your videos :)
How many cards did you send in? There’s got to be a point where you go safety in numbers. Even the ones worth less than .99 is better to take in the cost than having them taking up space. I see it as a similar to a small cost for recycling ? Cheers
Thank you for this! It is very useful! I wish we could see some of the basketball cards too. Do you send the thick cards in one touch? Does comc charge to take the cards out of those too?
Thanks for the info RGL. I've been collecting a nice stack of various cards from breaks and pack openings. About 10000 cards since the pandemic. This should give me a decent platform to control my cards and keep the wife happy...that it's not overwhelming our basement! Thanks again!😊
Thanks for the video! I have about 500 autos of more common football players in various sets from 2003 -2015. Are they worth sending in? Would people pay $1-2 for them?
Guess it's time for me to just put all my smaller cards together and go drop off at COMC. This is going to save me so much time I could be spending on other stuff. Thanks for uploading this!
Thank you. I have a ton of parallels and good rookies but I already spend a ton of time posting high end shit to eBay. I can’t do less valuable cards too. I appreciate you taking the time to help us.
If you have more than 5000 cards in comc. They have 50 dollars a month membership. You don’t have to pay storage fee if you list your card under $2.50. It is tip for you.
About 2 months ago I sent in 160 or so cards to COMC after not selling them at a local card show. Selling them all on ebay seemed much more daunting than just sending in a 330 count box with all the relics/rookie parallels and other crap I never should have opened over the pandemic. It definitely made me feel better know I've got around 500-600 that I can get from there for only minor effort. I chose 50 cent sub just because I don't plan on flipping long-term, so come June, hopefully my account will have some nice cash I can use on singles I actually want.
Holy moly, 6,500 cards in one submission? You are really incredible Rungood! More importantly I trust you intuitively. I’ll be listening for sure. Thanks. Peter
You make a great case on using COMC and I know many area like me and would love to have someone do all the leg work on selling the lower valued cards. One other person that has told me about them is Hobby Hound which is a good friend of mine,
do we have to enter the card info into a database for listings or is that their job? I only sell on ebay, but i dont want to use their PWE shipping method for lower end cards, just to avoid lost items or negative feedback.
Thanks for this video. It was incredibly helpful information. You mentioned flipping…do you have a video where you talk about how you determine what flips or not?
Are they going to take the cards/slabs out of the sleeves to take pics? If so, do you think its ok to leave in old scratched up sleeeves, or should i put every card in a new sleeve?
I decided to go with the 50 cent a card to COMC and it was a huge mistake. That was 8 weeks ago and I'm still waiting to get uploaded. Definitely worth it to go with the $1.00 a card and get uploaded faster.
So that company scans and prices them out accordingly to the website? Or do you have to figure pricing for each one? I should've waited to ask this until I've seen the whole video.
Did my first shipment to them of just 44 cards via select and they said they received 65. First, 6 cards uploaded are not even mine... 😂 so far customer service hasn't responded.
@@RunGoodLife let's hope so. Just added 10 more tonight that are not mine. I have another 1k being processed as well in the coming weeks/months. COMC user name: TripleJcards. All 16 items marked not for sale.
So are you aloud to ship everything all in one box? Like Pokémon and sports and also maybe some graded cards all the same box? Or do I have to split up
My order is starting to process finally after 10 weeks. A lot of the cards are getting good to vg grade or NM grade. Most these cards are from packs that I pulled then top loaded right away. Some even got poor grades. Have you been dealing with this?
Correct. 10% to get straight cash back. Alternatively, it's 6% to cashout to Blowout Gift card ($1000 or more), and you can always purchase a big card on site and try to sell it elsewhere for less fees.
you need to stay up 2.50 dollar cards.. as you likely will have to put on sale for 20 percent off then pay 50 cents to list and 20 percent to sell and cash out..
Thank you for being willing to show us this info. No one would blame you for charging people to learn this but you are just one of the best guys in the hobby! Thank you for everything you do RGL
Awesome content. Love the reboot. Really looking forward to this.
Class is on session!!! Looking forward to these videos
I started sending in cards to comc about a month ago and its awesome!
Interesting! So there is money to be made from joining breakers breaks and not completely running dry. Appreciate this. Really makes sense to me now.

Thanks for the video, the "Hey can I cancel, my kid bought this" hit hard, i sell other stuff on ebay and some of the stories are just comical.
This is great information! Since you teased these a few months ago I've been waiting for it. Getting my first submission together, thanks RGL!
Helpful to hear from a man of the people.
Extremely helpful video, thank you - and wishing you the best of luck in your long-term goals. Looking forward to following the progress.

I live in WA too RGL & even in Snohomish county, you should absolutely open a LCS. That would be awesome, great video thanks for the info 👍
GOAT. I will share this with everyone who wants to learn more about the hobby!
Thank you for these videos! I am new to selling, and looking at every avenue for selling cards.
I plan on using comc in the future, thank you for all your help!😊
Awesome COMC tutorial. Made my first flip on COMC a few months ago. Only made a few dollars profit but I was super stoked!

Any update on this?? How many of your cards have sold?
Update?
I actually just made a purchase from them and it was 1st class all around customer service 🎉
This was AWESOME!! Thank you!!
Great video just got mine ready to ship off. This was very helpful for sure

what caused the sudden change from wanting nothing to do with them at all to wanting to become one of their top sellers??

Comc will do all the work for you. The only way you do price the cards on comc

I appreciate the knowledgeable video. Thanks, RGL
So you have to submit a price for each card submitted, or is it an auction style?
Man I really appreciate this series I really need to let go of some stuff other people would like
You should do a break-down video of price differences between listing on COMC and feebay.
Let’s gooo!
You da man, RGL!
What’s the best way to look for possibly gradable cards? Do you have to sort by raw vs mint?
Eyeball them and pay $5/card to see if they pass review

I haven't watch the whole video yet but do you inventory your 6,000 cards lol.. if not your just trusting them with everything basically?
So are you aloud to ship everything all in one box? Like Pokémon and sports and also maybe some graded cards all the same box? Or do I have to split up
Great video and info bro! I'm assuming all of those cards are not Grade worthy, hence why sending some of those to comc.
much respect, great video
I buyout collections and everything 2.50 to 30 bucks I send off to them. I just dont need the part time job that selling on Ebay would be.
How does the condition of the card factor into the pricing? Do u just price higher if u have a card that looks gem mint
Thank u for this video! This helps out a lot

I’ve seen abnormally high condition notes in my order
@RunGoodLife
Okay it's not just me then. Thanks for the reply.
Appreciate it my friend
Yea I’m trying this out. I’ve just been giving mines away if it’s below $5 lol
Can you talk about the storage fees in one of the videos?
Thank you RGL
Thank you good sir!
Please dont forget theres a 10% fee to withdraw your funds

I love how we just calmly slide that base kellon Mond out and move along 😂
great vid rgl
What so you do w/base cards, base vets etc? Any suggestions?
Make sports artwork with them or throw them in the garbage. They don't sell.
Sell them in lots, the vets at least. They will sell.
Only thing is that u can't make a offer on ebay posted by comc
Do they deduct their listing fees as each card sells or do they bill you upon completion of their ingestion process?
The 50 cent charge is upfront.
What are you doing with your rc cards base worth around 0.30$ to 0.75$
They're sitting in my garage for all of eternity.
I was thinking on putting mine on my bicycle and keep remembering all times 😊
Great vid
Glad to see there weren't man, if any Mariners or Seahawks in that box
Does COMC charge more to process thicker cards like relics/spectra?
Just really thick cards
Please do a series called “Hooked on Phoenix” where it’s all about phoenix lol
you need to stay up 2.50 dollar cards.. as you likely will have to put on sale for 20 percent off then pay 50 cents to list and 20 percent to sell and cash out..
Curious about the cards in the One-Touch. Will those incur a $0.50 removal penalty?
Those are considered "encased" by the manufacturer and would lose value out of that package so will be sold inside it with the seal.
I appreciate this video. Thank you. Like Comment subscribe.
Any UD cards that is sold on ePack is worthless. The ePack users always have a race to the bottom.
Damn there’s possibly 130k worth of cards in that box
Yea he definitely has some hitters in there and don’t know it 😂
Hard video to watch, you contradict yourself at least 3 times fyi
your a panini guy lol yeah get rid of it and go vintage baseball Topps RUles
