  • Unfortunately, the female betta you may have seen in a previous video died pretty shortly after in about a week. So after a few days of checking if the water quality was ok (which it was) I decided to get some new fish for the tank. I got four endler's livebearers and 6 cherry shrimp which will hopefully one day start breeding for me. I hope you enjoy the video!

    Weird that the betta died, I've found them to be pretty Hardy. Shrimp and endlers are nice, scape looks good too 👍

      I know, I hate in when I look online and see bettas in uncycled 1 gallon bowls and cups living for ages then all of mine who were kept in a 6 gallon tank fully cycled, nicely planted with filter heater and they last a few months maximum. Only a week in this case :(

    Looks great! Can you please tell me what kind of filter do you use and if you ever had problems with it? I'm panning to get 10 chilli rasboras but I'm really worried they get stuck in the inner filter. Thanks in advance :)

      @@greensapling342 are you using only the light that comes together with this tank? I am also doing planted tank. Im not sure if the light is sufficient to keep the plants alive

      Not much can go in this tank I'm afraid as it's quite a small tank. Can I ask what species you're interested in putting in this tank?

      @@neon_blinx7806 I feel like any more would be too much if I'm honest with you. This is only a 25l tank by the way so if its bigger then this and you want more fish I'd get more corydoras as they are a shoaling fish. Not sure about danios as I've never kept them before :)
      If you want more info then try asking around on forums or google the minimum tank size and how many of each fish should be kept

      @@greensapling342 it’s a 27 litre and I was thinking about either getting 1 albino Cory and one guppy ? Is that ok

    • @greensapling342
      @greensapling342  3 роки тому

      I would say that if you want to add more fish then the one guppy is better than the albino cory. Corydoras live in groups and do best in a minimum of 5-6 I think but this tanks is too small for that. I would keep the fish you have at the moment rather then getting more to not overstock the tank. Hope this helps and good luck 👍

    Your Betta fish are probably dying because they were sick when you got them, common problem.
