The sym in the second game actually had some insane callouts and communication. Their tp's were also super clutch in literally every fight. It's very impressive he could do that and still play extremely well in the team fights at the same time.

@@leonardocastellanos7344 Most ball players including flats just roll on objective, meanwhile most syms meticulously pick turret and tp locations. There's just no comparison, hampter can be very brain dead.
I'd say the hero with highest iq ceiling is sombra but she also has a lowish skill floor that even dumb players can get value of repeatedly hacking a certain target

Reins challenges are basically the same as before but even more cause you can no longer depend on a zarya to bubble you or any other tank to give you some extra defense

Reins challenges have only increased.
Before you had an offtank that could bubble you, or could punish flankers, or could dive a sniper character depending on who it was.
Now you have to do all of that, yourself. with your only major threat being a slow moving projectile until you somehow manage to get in melee range where you danger massively spikes.
Not to even mention the 5vs5 format encourages people to play more spread out as well, which works even more against Rein.
you also can't depend on hog as a ranged threat to destract the enemy and make pins easier/ less reckless. srly if you were low enough in sr ppl didn't notice u were in their back line till ur cooldowns were backb up. AS REIN!
Cyx and Flats playing together is like Superman and Thor teaming up to fight Cobra Commander. You don't know how it happened, but it's all you want to see now.

I always say this. Mei has the perfect kit for a tank the only thing is she isn’t big enough to be put in the tank category. She has a CC ult, a wall that is used for displacement and some self sustain.

Honestly, she isn't even that much smaller than characters like Junker Queen or Doom Fist. Tank doesn't have to be a hulking giant like Rein or Hog. All she needs is to be scaled up a little bit. She already has that bulky coat that makes her larger anyway.
They could maybe even give her some equipment on her back to make her hitbox even bigger, like lifeweaver. That would be hard to do with all the skins she has though.

I think mei is better in OW2 as a sort of dps off-tank tbh. It's a pretty unique niche now and making her a tank would kill that.
mei is kinda like brig to me, she can tank but shouldn't be a tank. She would be a pain in the ass if she had more life

Pretty sure ramattra is the only newly added character that didn't come out horribly unplayably busted and only slightly under powered as he hasn't recieved many changes sense release the big one was faster nemiss and a nerf to his ult.
Ram is one of the most balanced heros on release characters thats been added to the game tbh

14:50 The fact sym makes these strats possible is insane, didn't think to use this, gotta use her elsewhere I guess. thing is, even second/third spawn doors can be caught with turrets and with practice with your team your TPs out can be super consistently safe, maybe torb, bastion or reaper or mei 2nd dps to contest point/not get 1 shot - reaper can tp to it/hold second door with wraith in pocket - but is vulnerable to 1 shot swaps, same with mei but both her abilities can block door, so with practice can be as close to cover as possible while not letting even tracer/mercy hitboxes through and she can contest point for a while once first fight fails, with this you can actually get 2 or even THREE fights on some maps - the "do I get a second fight with decent position" question is definately the most important though here - finding clips and emulating to see just how long they can pull this stuff off will be super important - just learning the first point for maybe this and junkertown and as few others where its important as possible and you get a free extra fight if you're willing to risk what? at most: tank = ~500 + squishes = 800 about 1300 ult charge advantage for their whole team if you get WHIPED which is less than half a lucio beat... split amoung 5 players, that's if you get ZERO picks yourselves on your way out and they aren't caught completely uncordinated to respond to this very unusual type of threat etc.

Mei IS a tank character. She has a defensive cooldown, a barrier and a zoning ultimate, and her primary fire opens space. All she needs is a little more health to be fully considered a tank.

What might help is extra armor building up for Rein while his shield is up. And maybe fire strike hits regenerating the shield value faster.

I main rein and do pretty well, granted, I thonk I'm maybe mid to high gold, low plat at best. I just play hyper aggro and like my team are NPC'S. They either followup with me and we overwhelm the enemy team, or we lose the fight.
