I feel like flats has to tell people “invite the suspected duo and you’ll know if they’re actually queuing together” every episode
For no reason, you can just leave group when the game starts and after that it shows you and your duo as solo queue. Also for another topic Flats touched later it’s very easy to spoof a number to create alts it can be done an infinite amount of times in about 5 mins time for each account start to finish.

A: It helps hide their sus aim
B: Soldier's Ult actually reduces reload speed by a LOT, so they can shoot with shorter breaks.

My biggest fear as a new Overwatch player is accidentally pocketing/supporting or grouping with a cheater.

I remember a few years ago I accidentally duoed with a cheater. He was already grouped with someone else who wasn’t cheating, they didn’t know each other prior to this, they just grouped together after a match. I never knew he was cheating, I just thought he was good. Anyway, yeah I paid my price for that cause he was really creepy to me. Grouping with randoms is almost never a good idea.
I queued with randoms for the first time in ages a month or two back... seemed to be going well but after a match or two they brought out the anti semitism and racism. Idk why people just can't be normal
@@EmoTheElephant Unfortunately the guy that I grouped with was like 14 years older than me (I was 16 at the time) and you can only imagine what type of stuff he tried to do. It got really suspicious when I got added by multiple new accounts within the span of a week because he was being banned for cheating (which I figured out after the final ban he had before I never heard from him again).

Lmao a random I grouped up with (I have literally 0 friends) was like a couple of years younger than me, (all adults) and as soon as he figured out that I was literally only a COUPLE OF YEARS older than him, like a minute into our conversation he went off about how how he has a mommy kink and that he likes older girls and yadda yadda and as soon as I casually mention I have a boyfriend he ghosted me MID-MATCH LOL

everytime i see these videos, i remember the time i accidentally pocketed cheaters for two games (wasnt queued, ran into the trio in between other games, and had no idea they were even cheating (because they were so bad) until the end of the 2nd game when one of them got POTG)
It was two cheating dps queued with a support who mained mercy (whos mercy i stole both times)
they shit talked me and were racist towards me the entirety of the second game for no reason except i assume their egirl had an ego and wanted me to feel bad about myself lol.. like idk girl, at least i didn't need to be boosted by bigoted cheaters 😭
It's funny in 500 hours of ow2,the only racists I ran into were exclusively mercy mains

I think the reason it doesn’t work up close is that it probably has a max tracking speed because it tries to track but can’t keep up. It’s probably a mechanism to stop it from being detected too easily (despite the rest being super blatant).

hard to tell if the Mercy is with him, if she is she's doing a great job of making it not obvious, as she is boosting and healing as much as she can on everyone. AT least in the first half. Second half she may be naïve, bc she still helps everyone as much as possible.

@@andreamicheli2575 it depends if they called that out. as a mercy i know that bastion is just the better target to pocket than a junkrat, and i wouldn't know if he's cheating unless the enemy team says so.

Yea I agree I was wanting someone to say something cuz it didn't seem to be a pocket. Just normal mercy stuff? Her beam bounced around to the team equally and at least when I play her I wait to damage boost certain skills like bastion turret, that and bastion is very much easier to dB than junk. And he only got rezzed like once? I think? Most pockets fight to rez their duo lollll it's hard tho cuz if no one said anything in chat about the cheater I feel like I wouldn't know, I would just think he's popping off. He's playing like a normal player, keeping with team etc etc, made some bad plays but most players have their moments lol. The clear walls and snapping gives him away but u won't see that as a teammate so I think mercy isnt at fault. Unless they were grouped ofc

As a Mercy who has a duo: They weren’t stacking. If a Mercy is Duo’d with someone and they know they’re good (in this case it’ll be because of cheating but still) they’ll either HARD pocket from the beginning or always default back to the duo. She never hard pocketed him. She seems to only really look at him when he’s Ulting or in Turret form. This was just a Gold Mercy just pocketing someone who seemed to be popping off.

And whoever said cheating is rare in Overwatch doesn't know how to spot them. I report at least one a day and damn near every day when I log on I get the message saying my report led to actions against someone. So yeah it's quite common.

@@ajpardy7620 it sometimes takes awhile. I'd wager to say that I have about an 85% accuracy when reporting. Some are kinda hard to tell. Especially if they're using a projectile hero.
@@Cytro so you've never thought someone was SUS and took a quick look at the replay of the match? I've seen/reported cheats in almost every single rank and mode in the game. Arcade, unranked, ranked, and metal rank all the way to GM. It's actually not as common above diamond and above because they usually get reported and removed before that. But they still are there too, they usually just disguise it better. Well that and most of the brainless ones just get stomped on anyhow because they have shit game sense and can't climb even cheating 🤣. I've even had several matches where the cheaters were banned mid match.
@@wusaint yea I’ve definitely seen a lot of super sus movement, aim, tracking, etc and a lot of times I’m duo so we both report and still haven’t got a message about them being removed .-. I’ve even played the same cheater multiple times on random days because same name/characters and same exact sus stuff. It’s just not common in bronze-gold to report cuz people are just ass and think other people just have good aim unless it’s super weird like a widow 4K headshots

As a general tip as well, if you avoid someone and want to check if their online anymore because maybe you want to fill more avoid slots with new people, just invite to group the avoided person and if they are offline and not playing anymore it will say "Player not found"
