Thank you for this template and your tutorial, studying it gave me the inspiration for my own project!
Though I do have a question on the plugins used. In your side-scroller template, you are using a bunch of plugins, some of which don't have an official site listed, or it's not available anymore, making it difficult to check their legal status. Seeing how DK_Big_Events needs to be bought (subscription, or one-time fee of $35+) in order to be used in commercial projects, could you tell if some of the other plugins have similar stipulations? I'm talking about FixedDirectionHorizontal and ZE - Key Mapper.
Also, it took me a while to find out how you put the control scheme on the screen - it wasn't in the common events OR the plugins. Took me triple checking it to think "wait, maybe it's in a script or a png in an autorun event". Which it was (8

Hello, how do you make the main character's sprite be "!Sprite2"? I don't understand, in the database in the "Actors" tab there is nothing assigned.
The preview of the player in the database is transparent because the spritesheet is very large and has many blanks. Click on the player sprite box and you will see that the sprite is there ;)
