  • Hey All,
In this episode we are back at our old stomping grounds, the South Point Poker room. We try and get some action going and end up taking down quite a few smaller pots. I hope you enjoy the hands.
Thank you all for the continued support. Balancing a full time job, playing poker, vlogging, and video editing is extremely challenging. It's all worth it though seeing your comments and the support I'm getting on the channel.
Leave a comment below with any questions or feedback and I will get back to you. Thank you for watching and good luck at the tables!!
    Jason

Love that place. There's a gorgeous Thai woman friend of mine that plays there. She's originally from San Diego. Katerina. She always plays $1/$2. Thanks for sharing.

Lol! 99 from the SB was the last hand I played at Hollywood Park a few days ago. Tell you the story when I get back to Vegas.

Is this a typical Vegas small stakes? I play in south Texas, but even in a $1-$2, with a $300 cap on initial buy, opening to isolate limpers requires MUCH larger opens. And even at $1-$2, even the fish 3 bet, with rare 4 bets.

This is pretty typical for the $1/2 at South Point. If you play at the casinos on the strip you will see a lot more action.

@@anthonyfoutch3152Is it true that in Texas, u can match the stack and buy-in? If thats so, then thats crazy. They can unlimited reload max to chip leader. Ive had sessions where im up 2k in 1/2. Others buying in for $300, i have huge advantage over them but if people can match my stack for buy-in, then one mistake i make can be extremely costly.

So if the table is that tight, why not mix up your range and turn up the aggression or throwing in checks to entice people to bluff?

I need to get better at adjusting my range based on the table conditions.

Maybe you should decrease your c bet size so opponents float more often when you have the board locked up. Also you need to go for more thin value bets that QJ hand def should of been a min raise at least

Your sizing is pretty bad in many hands :( luckily that is easily fixable.

I struggle with bet sizing especially in multi-way pots. I have been studying on when to use specific sizing 1/2 pot, 2/3rds pot, etc. open to to any suggestions you might have. Thanks for watching!!

You kinda play only premium hands and get confused when you bet $20 and no one calls. Could it be the table knows you only bet premiums

@@panicpoker I dont remember the stack size but assuming V has legitimate fold equity then we'd probably fold and consider it a misread, barring some history with him that suggests he'll do this with worse.
