Being Dutch, I remember very well that at the end of the seventies, the story of the murders attributed to the Yorkshire ripper, were here in the Netherlands huge to. We're hoping just as much as the Britten that this monster got caught. What's not mentioned here is that Sutcliffe is dead.
I can’t believe he never shaved or cut his hair. With my luck, had it been me, I wudda been caught in approximately four and a half minutes 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ damn near every composite looks like him
You can't document this subject without covering the fiasco of the infamous 'Jack' recording and subsequent tunnel vision on the perpetrator and victimology, but you reported it accurately without letting it become the entire story.
Talk about being emboldened. Interviewed 9 different times and dismissed every time. Seeing as it was 9 times you would think they would ask why his name keeps showing up.
The enquiry into the police handling of the case were the first people to ask that all the surviving victim photofits of the perpetrator were produced and gathered together......the result shocked them, I know non-known to victim murderer cases back then were the hardest to solve (not having modern scientific forensic tools), but the basic mistakes made by the investigative branch was truly shocking, and Sutcliffe was only caught by rote not detection 👈😕 Not plods finest hour 😑
I find it hard to believe that Sutcliffe's wife didn't have any suspicions about him. He had to wash his clothes to get rid of blood, semen and other related evidence when he returned home after each attack. Surely, she would have been alerted to something strange going on, on more than thirteen occasions?
Looks are deceiving thts scary creepy the then slow steps then fast ready fr the kill tht wen av to scream the lungs off or go nearby Hse or whatever ask fr help
And a liar.. she stated in her original description of her attacker “that he was a young man” She was about 20 and Sutcliffe was 34 at the time plus she never mentioned a beard to the police in her description🤔🤔 recent documentary her book is delivered coincidentally when she was getting interviewed..
Love these documentaries, the voice of the narrator is a bonus ❤
This is very well done, I’ve seen several documentaries about Peter Sutcliffe/Yorkshire Ripper but this is definitely one of the best.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it
@@AbsoluteCrime In 2020, Sutcliffe died of COVID.
Pure evil. Best documentary I've seen on this case
Turn DOWN the background music!!! Good grief!!! 😤
Very interesting👍
Wow. The serial killer is not forthcoming with information. Imagine that! Shocking.

Vacuous plattitudes
Music so loud
Hello. Thank you. I read a book about this Case years ago. Curious to watch your coverage. Plus, seeing your new channel!

This is done so well but also, can we talk to the audio guy about these crazy sound effects/music being WAY to loud compared to the narration lol..
A hammer then a screw driver jeez.

What i do get is that his name kept coming up. Why didn't the police take a closer look at him.
The tv series created around this case was great.
May I ask what's the name is? I want to see if I can watch it in the US. TIA 😊
Why are their commercials when I have UA-cam red!?!?!!!
Dumb police work they let that monster out smarted them, they should’ve caught him a long time ago

She was working nights a lot of time plus she never washed his clothes
feel kinda bad for Oldfield. He made a rly bad mistake but it was an honest one and it seems apparent that that took a hvy toll on his health

Sounds like he was killing his mother, every time he killed, because he was traumatized by his mothers affaiir.
that’s kinda what they get … they didn’t care until it wasn’t a sex worker their bad
That's so sad.😢
There’s a lot of room in heaven, but a lot of people did not make it to heaven, most of them are in jail in hell .
Mo lea is a beautiful passionate lady 😍
