      @@sarpreetsangha4650 no it didnt it is just that i need to change the grip. Left side still hurts but the right side bearly. You just need to avoid the grip that it hurts. And its not that easy

    I was just diagnosed with tennis and golfer's elbow today. The doctors gave me and injection in both areas. I haven't felt this good for yrs. I go back in a month for a follow up

      Be Careful of those shots because its hard on your kidneys and might result in a chronic kidney disease.

    I have exactly this. On the inside of my elbow just above it is a swelling about the size of a squished out marble if that makes sense. The inflammation then continues down the forearm. Anyone who says it's not that bad clearly hasn't experienced it. I'm sitting at a solid 8 right now. Its intense.

    I felt pain in that same area about 2 years ago. I stopped exercising since then. This week I started workoing out and the pain came back instantly. So, I pretty much rested for 2 years and the pain still remains.

      I think I have the same condition, whenever I perform push-up or most other exercises, I feel my inner elbow stretched and burned. I could not do more than 10 reps because of too much pressure on my elbow. I work out then rest for 1 month and come back, the pain is still there

      @@39-nguyenhongquan84 Start doing stretches. Just do a ton of stretches for your shoulders, romboids, everything in that area. And then start trying to use bands/towel that stretch your back and shoulders and then lastly do arm exercises with weights

    I've been doing a lot of manual labor on our recently converted barn-to-house. Heaving lifting of drywall and buckets and plywood. It's gotten worse when I was unloading a gun safe from my truck. Thanks for this video. I'm trying to stay less active but work has to be done. I'll start the icing and see if that helps. Thanks.

      If it still hurts, check your shoulder for pain and if you find a sort spot do cross friction massage in that area. Fixed up my elbow. Hope this helps.

    Do you think FCU the strongest muscle was overused due to hammering sort of work? for the involved pronator teres, do you do extra interventions or just stretch or strengthen all the muscles attached to it?

    I bench 405 lbs for years just lately I think I had golfers elbow but with some therapy treatment it went away . Specifics triceps exercise can cause that for many who are complaining of getting this pain from working out . My cure was to take 30 days off and lots of therapy . Defiantly a good video to help you diagnose your self . 👍thanks

      Im beching 400 lbs as well. After being sick a month I returned to the bench press thinking i could pick up where i left off.
      Although i got the weight up and did partial lifts its when i reracked the weight i felt something happen in one of my arms. I couldn't do anything later that day with the arm totally weak and in pain to the touch.
      After 3 weeks the pain went away. I tried the bench But it just didn't feel the same and the injured arm shakes uncontrollably under the bench pressure. 3 more weeks now it like total loss of strength and the joints (Elbow and Shoulder) hurts too bad when trying to lift heavy .
      Everything seems fine until i need to apply pressue to the arm like opening a heavy door. Xrays reveal nothing broke. So Doc said go to therapy and sum it up as soft tissue injury.
      Will i loose all that strength i had acquired with such injury? Has hade searching and your post sounds like you recovered after a month of therapy and can lift you peak again after you arm injury? How. I feel like my arm is done for

      @@trevorfranks69 For me it’s to lower the weight you are lifting and lower the intensity of your workouts so you can start healing and also do stretches. Check out Athlean X elbow pain video it helped me.

      Glad to say my strength has come back! Well sort of. Im back very heavy and almost with ease. The injured arm still needs building but its lifting it while my other arm. Just plays with the weight. Im excited. Its crazy to understand i was lifting so much with ease. Almost, almost back completely. Took about 2 months. Im not sure if i should. But I've been lifting whereas after a few heavy reps i can't get no more out the injured arm.

    6 months into my elbow injury and it still hurts in that area. When I massage in between the bones it gives a prickly nerve pain that eventually subsides into like an ache. I try to massage it often and it always flares up after activities. Trying to be patient with this

      @@homseize elbow has mostly healed! It flares up still but I've figured out methods to minimize inflammation and the key is staying very active and using full range of motion in wrist & shoulders. Biceps curls with light weight helped a lot

    This is the first time ever I felt inner elbow pain for doing forearms pull up. my elbow was in a bend position for the pull up. It felt so much pressure and intense in the elbow. I always massaged when the intensity get tight. I don't know what to do at this stage. I'm just stay off every workout. hopefully it'll recover.

    If its *arm* soft tissue injury where as pain is left in the joints like Elbow and shoulder when pressure is applied. Will your peak strength ever return? If so, how long after it heals would your strength where you left off at return. Especially for a weight lifter. Or do you loose all that strength progress

    in additon to the pain, when I curl my arm (as if i am doing a bicep curl) i get a click which results in irriation and pain. what does that mean?

      Could be many things. Arthritis, a tendon rubbing over a bone, the nerve popping out of the groove, etc... hard to tell without an evaluation.

      @@OrthoEvalPal I met an ortho yesterday who said it wasnt the ulnar nerve (he did a physical check). He said he couldnt say and get an MRI. I think the noise is coming from the outside of the elbow (lateral). I also have this noise if i am doing a fist and rotate my hand in place, i can hear some crunching which makes me think that the tricep may be related. Do you have any Idea? Thank you

    My pain is on now both of my elbows I believe it's on the lateral side so the outside and it hurts when I supinate both arms when I supinate both arms there's a pool on that the elbow on it's more towards the side when I'm pronate there's no pain is there any suggestion for this please

      I got golfers elbow from all the pull ups and other exercises I was doing too. I still feel pain if I try to workout. How long is the recovery time?

      @@samuelgalloza6397 hey dude, my pain is mostly gone. I used a hammer to do curl movement(starting w/neutral grip at top) with supranation(turn palm up) at the end.
      I gripped at the middle of the hammer at first. Low reps and sets first. Didn’t seem like I was doing anything, but I am mostly pain free now.
      I hope that works for you.
      Add:
      I also self massaged the muscles near the tendon, but not the tendon. Very important to not directly massage the tendons.

    Im in my 50' s , a Firefighter, renovating my house, biker and i work out . All the above have my this pain 4 years ago. I tried the wrap and stretches as mentioned above but no relief. Then only last week a paramedic showed me a stretch. It involves someone pressing on the tight ligaments in the forearm then doing the stretch with fingers bent back . To my surprise this has already made a reduction in pain to the point where i was able to perform bicep barbell curls this week with no pain . Just thought id share this .
    You have to get those ligaments ti stretch so they back off the pressure at the attachment point at your elbow .

    I have had pain in my elbow for a few weeks. It's not on the outside, but it's not as tender as indicated here (0:31). In fact, it feels fine when I poke around with my off hand. It only hurts when I pronate. It's pissing me off.

    Very painful! Is there medication for this. I've tried everything. Hvy dose of advil only things that helps until it wears off. Good video 👍

      If it doesn't get better in a reasonable amount of time, you should get it checked. It could be many other things.

    I have the same pain for years by holding pads at muay Thai and still haven't found the solution for it. I can also trigger the pain by just pressing gently my hand onto my shoulder. I gave up trying to solve the problem.

    I developed this pain 2 weeks ago. I continued to workout and grip and of course it didn't subside. Glad I found this video. I'm going to take it easy for a week or 2. Thanks for making vid

    I've been working at a car plant slinging around 45-pound parts 500+ times a day. And I've only been here for about a month now but I exercise outside of work and I work about 60 hours a week. But it's starting to catch up and I feel tendonitis for sure. My grip is weaker and the outside of my forearm (pinky side) starting from my wrist all the way down to my elbow is in very bad pain. I keep getting different sensations of throbbing pain, sharp shooting pains and a burning sensation. I've also noticed that every morning I wake up my hands and fingers feel very very stiff. It's getting to a point where I may have to say goodbye to this job. I can't keep working the way I've been cuz you're literally non-stop moving picking up heavy things every last minute that you're there. Plus a lot of people will take advantage of me because I'm physically fit so they'll do less work if they see that I'm moving faster. I can't keep breaking my body down to save somebody else's though so that's going to stop really soon. I guess that's what I get for being a hard worker with little reward

    I started having this pain recently. Funny enough once I was focusing on forearm workouts. I don’t feel pain necessarily, but I get this uncomfortable almost pain in my inner elbow. But for some reason I feel it when I grab things with a wide grip (I believe) otherwise I feel completely fine.

    Search for the move called "reverse tyler twist", do it.
    If you don't have a flex bar you can improvise with a regular band folded multiple times!

    I have the same problem. Please tell me what to do ..
    I can't do anything even if I do pushup I get a crack sound from my bone just after 5/6 reps
    Done with MRI,x-ray & also with nerves test everything is normal the doctor said that it will take 1 month but the pain is low now from the past months
    But can't cure it to 100%

    Exactly same location where I get pain. I am a cricketer while throwing the ball for long distance it does hurts inner elbow to prevent it. I have started using tennis elbow brace.. that pain will last for ever ? Or it cures ?

    I was curling heavy and when I woke up the next morning I had bursts of pain in my elbow when trying to bend my arm however after I move it and get up I can bend it fine but shi is annoying

    Had a small elbow injury a couple years back, I popped it back and never went to the doctor. Now, I’ve been getting sharp pulling pains whenever I bend or extend my arm. It feels like a tendon is being pulled, as when I try to slowly stretch it out I feel a lot of movement.

    Finally I figured out what I have in my inner left elbow!!
    I am a drummer, and I play traditional grip. During an outside gig a few weeks ago I felt a sharp pain on the inside of my elbow during the last 20 minutes of our show, and got worried.
    I also keep active, but Im still unable to do bicep curls with the normal weight use let alone carry my gear with my left arm.
    What kind of brace would you recomend?

    I stayed off of mine off and on for years. Just got an MRI. The tendon is torn and needs surgical repair. I am actually kind of relieved that I will be able to get back to normal function again. If your pain keeps coming back, get MRI'd to check for a tear

      @@Muhithm8 I am sorry. I do not understand the question.
      I had pain and weakness for years in that elbow. I did not remember a specific time that I injured it, but may have injured it working out with heavy weights. I had the MRI imaging done last week and got my results yesterday.
      It showed a tear, or rip, in the tendon.
      The severity of the tear determined the treatment, which is stiching the tendon.

    Thanks for the video!! I’m 27, fairly athletic, workout often. I do a lot of push ups and pull ups. I’ve had this pain on my right elbow for a few years. When I bend my forearm back and forth that tendon feels like it slides over the bone or bumps into it, unlike my left arm that is normal and does not.
    Push ups become extremely painful for me no matter the form I use. And I have to stop my workout. Even extremely proper push ups or using a towel underneath my hands does not help. Even a couple week break doesn’t change anything. Any videos I should watch or recommendations on what to do? (Apologies for the lengthy reply)

    I have the same exact issue any steroid shot would help?
    So it started a month back while doing a set of pull down triceps on a rope and ever since it stayed there I got X-rays nothing major can you share kind of stretches require to fix this ?

    I have it in both elbows for months and I am not giving up my fishing hobby. There has to be a way to rehab it. The confusing part is I have no idea what caused it.

    I've been lifting dumbells lately. Now it hurts. Is there vitamis I should be taking to strengthen or hurry up the process. I do drink 3.5 lt of water a day.

      @@davidonwa3110 I'm not a Dr. But I didn't make one. I just completely stopped. Started to do core and other work outs for now. Everything I have read was to mind myself when I apply ice and to let it heal. Sucks because I was making progress. You should visit the Dr. If you want piece of mind. I'm on day number 12 and still if I lift something, I feel discomfort and pain. Good luck to you.

    I am currently facing similar pains on both of my elbows which I farmly believe started since I switched to a roadbike and kept riding for weeks and doing long miles. I wake up with elbow pains. Recently I have visited a physiotherapist and He has been providing me ultrasounds on both elbows for last 3 sessions within 1 week. I have paused cycling. My question is, will I fully recover from this pain and can I go back to my cycling on roadbikes?

    I never heard of golfers elbow before I don't play golf but my elbow on my left arm hurts this could be it same arm I do alot of stuff using my arms

    Im having the exact thing and people in comments talking its been with em for years..., It scares tf out of me. I armwresteled with my bigger bro and after i felt that pain in my inner elbow. I stop trainings for my forearms. After 2 weeks the pain was gone but every time i was trying to open a SLIDE PUSHING window. Or when driving in car. Or any movement that was like sliding. When i remember when i first have that pain. Waving somebody was painful. Or moving my hand slidly. And yeah, after i though the pain was gone. I just started working out. And it comes back asap. I went to doctor. He said your tendons hurt you need to take care of it for 10-20 days. I said i did it doctor. The pain was gone. But when ever i wanted to slide anything the pain comes back... . I just dont want to have thing kind of pain guys. Wish me well❤.

      Minimizing gripping can help. Using a cuff around the wrist can allow shoulder strengthening with the grip

    My orthopedic surgeon just told me to wear a wrist brace when I go to bed to isolate the hand from moving. Also do stretches where you bend your fingers back.

    Good advice on the icing. I iced mine right on the bony part and I guess, froze the nerve, it hurt like hell when I moved it.

      @@bugsy7539 I used Ice cubes in a t-towel and it did help. After that saw the doc and was diagnosed with Ulnar Nerve Instability which means when I bend and straighten my arm the nerve pings across the bony part of my elbow. Been like it since birth apparently. I have not lifted weights for a month, hope to get back to it after seeing the doc again.

      @Joe Blow it hardly bothers me now, get some numbness very ocassionally if I wake up on my back, with my elbows against the bed. I have not gone back to the gym, been running instead but will go back when I get motivated, to see if it happens again.

    Wtf that's bullcrap... I was good last year able to arm wrestle anyone anywhere (which I've always been particularly good at) now doing push-ups pull ups and especially arm wrestling and heavy lifting I ache and am sore excessively where as I coukd do anything I wanted a year ago but I'm 35 now is this me getting old or wtf is happening I had to take a loss on my left arm against someone 20lbs lighter than me just from pain alone. Any help is greatly appreciated

    I dont carry anything heavy nor did I hurt myself. The arm is heavy and pains at the elbow. There is no arthretis as well. I did tests nothing. I have pins when I massage and the pain has nowhere it begins

    dam i iced the inside to the bottom made it worse!!it stiff n sore now took some pain meds!bring down the inflammation added more reps to my exercises started this!!

    I was just sitting and stretching my elbow inwards, and I hurt it somehow. It doesn't feel too painful, but I definitely hurt it. This sucks.

    Its so painful... I got mine after doctor take blood on top elbow area and he pull tightly the rubber glove to max energy its hurt😑😑😑

    My elbow popped and my hand was swollen for a day after lifting a really heavy box. I’m not sure if it’s a golfers elbow or tennis elbow but it hurts when I twist my wrist inwards like if I was checking my watch or if I try to do dumbbell hammer curls even with low weight it hurts. It feels more like discomfort then actual pain but it feels like it’ll lead to pain if I try to fight through it (if that makes sense).
