I love when you make these kinds of videos. I’ve often wondered how you keep the peace when the pack gets rowdy. Thank you for sharing this and helping people to know ways we can be a better parent to our doggos. ❤
This is why I support him monthly because he is a true dog whisperer. He knows how to really treat the dogs without giving them more anxiety like humans do when they yell and scream at their dogs, he's awesome.
I know that you are so right and I’ve trained so many dogs and horses and I used to volunteer training at a rescue. But when this one goes after my poor, helpless angel, I get really upset. A lot of it has to do with how you introduce them to each other and quite frankly Happy wasn’t such bad shape when I got him that I didn’t do it the right way
Lee. You look like you've lost some weight in your face. ! Looking good ! You're looking happy, and settled. We know why ! 😊 Love as always to you and all the animals. 🐶❤️❤️
My friend and I walked five dogs. All if a sudden the 11 year old blue healer attacked my 9 year old border collie…out of the blue! My dog grabbed her front leg at the joint and laid quietly and low. Luckily, Echo was missing teeth. Her son came i er to join in! The owner froze!. I yelled leave it, stopped the son and pulled Echo back. Coukd not figute out what triggered her! My dig was by me. The son and another birder collie were playing and echo was trying to get me to give her attention. Which I did. Any thought’s?
I’ve had to explain my calm tone and movements is not because I’m not aware of what is happening - many folks think I’m dismissing their panic - but the opposite.
Yes. I used it in the classroom and on the playground. Kids are not dogs, I realize, but behavior is behavior. And, there’s ALWAYS a reason for the tension.
find the source of the tension in your life and calmly remove it .. Brilliant . Even when you remember knowing that. It's good to be reminded . Thanks. I needed that.
I know nobody is really going to read this rant, but here goes, my source of tension is the pack, so to speak; ive been running an animal rescue , horses dogs and cats, for a decade, and they are the tension. Ha ha , sure when everything is copasetic, its great and calm and wonderfully gratifying, but when your resources are dwindling and their lives depend on you finding more, then the tesion escalates. Personally ive lost my life savings and income source from an insanely unlikely event , seizure by US customs of my for profit busines's most expensive container because of a mistaken trademark infringement, which ive since rectified, but customs is a black hole that doesnt respond. Long boring story, but consequential non the less. So now i have to find money or homes for alot of elderly animals. I know nobody in the rescue world, everybody i do know thinks im suicidal and deranged for sacrificing and being dedicated to my pack. So infact from my social circle im considered irresponsable and selfish for what from my perspective is the opposite. A little hard to internalize, especially after watching all these wonderful posts from Asher House and other successful sanctuaries. Makes me realize what a failure i am. Which in turn makes anxiety creep higher and the ability to be harmonious with the animals a bit difficult. Everybody has a history including hard and good times, but right now im experiencing some really hard times. Any ideas will be welcome. Maybe some of these readeers can adopt my beautiful animals, because ive only a few months left of resources and no future potential posibilitiues of funding. You have to be self funded or obviously know some interested like minded people. I am in my own black hole, everybody in my small uninterested network just thinks im crazy and selfish. Im a vegan and theyre all dedicated carnivores, thats an example of the conflict amd inability to empathize with my situation. Of course that just builds up more walls and animosity. Kind of crazy that rescuing animals and being empathetic towards these victims of our commoditized societry turns me into what most people that know me would simply charachterize as a looney tune thats only concerned with themselves. Sorry for being a vbuzz killer, but rescuing animals isnt always as peaceful and beautiful as portrayed in these videos. Infact, my experience is its a great example of the larger society. A few do wonderful and everything just seems to flow positively, which is always attributed to hard work and persistence, something i think is invested with passion, but since most people fail, well then the special sauce missing is labeled hard work and dedication. But those failures did think they added that ingredient, but no, it just wasnt enough says the winner. Oh well , back to the drawing board. , Hey maybe someone can show me how to post videos like this guy and attract donations, because i simply dont kmow how nor have the time. I am a 60 year old cripple, taking care of 12 horses and many dogs and cats, with no help and alot of piss and shit to clean along with groceries and health care to attend to. Im not a hoarder, they are all living on a beautiful 25 acre farm in Florida, but the due date of having no money is fast aproaching. Ill be homeless and so will they. Then the sanctuaries ive already reached out to will maybe come in and make a dramatic rescue attempt ,detailing the horror of it all in order to raise their own donations. Marketing and capitalism at its finest , a day late and as usual that profit motive being somewhat short of better utility and purpose.

Stop giving this man millions of dollars in donations. He is a complete man. Can’t wait till this fully gets exposed.
Don't respond to this "fake" person...... "@LeeAsher-ec4hw." Lee Asher told us he does NOT comment or respond to people's comments about his videos. So, the person is an IMPOSTOR. 😞
Slip lead leashes like Lee used here are so awesome in that type scenario. Several years ago my Border Collie got involved in a scuffle and I got bit on the hand by the other dog while trying to clip Delilah's leash on. Whith a slip lead you don't have to get your hands directly into the fray, just make a lasso and pull back
Thank you Lee ! It always a bit tricky with Josephine (my shelter dog 11yr). She often acts interested in other dogs first but then suddenly, like a switch is flipped, she starts barking and snapping the air. Usually the other dog owners just pull their dog away and I'll hold her back, but I easily panic tbh BC I'm always afraid they'll start a serious fight. You just encouraged me to remember to stay calm in such situations and I'll try my very best to do so in the future!

I'm four days in to life with my first dog from a shelter and although I always watch your vlogs anyway, they have so much more meaning to me at this moment in time. Thank you for all you do for the animals you rescue ❤ and for showing patience and love is often the answer. I don't know what my girl went through before I met her, but i'm determined that she will feel loved and wanted from here on out✌️❤🐾

Kids or dogs the key to a happy life is following through and actually parenting. You don’t have to beat your dogs or your kids to make them mind but your word has to mean something.
Thanks Lee. I've learned a lot from you. I'm not an experience dog owner. I rescued a Tasmanian devil. She's doing great! It took me until I was almost 60 years old before I adopted a dog. I never really liked them. Wow, I didn't know what I was missing. Now I can't live without one.
We adopted our pit bull/boxer from a foster. He's 10 now❤the best dog we've ever had. He does sometimes get aggressive on a leash. Off the leash he's super calm.
As the owner of rescue from California I'm in Oregon he's a Belgian Malinois Shepherd mix and I absolutely love the common sense easy tips that you give us I really appreciate it I always learn some things from you and when my dog is on a leash he is protective and does not like other dogs and that's because other dogs off leash have ran up and attacked him so that's a and I wasn't with him the first year of his life because I rescued him from California kill shelter I've had to work through things with him and I encourage you and ask you to please keep putting out these very very very very very very easy to follow clear guidelines on how things should go you are absolutely somebody that I really look up to and when it comes down to it I think you're just a man with a lot of integrity and a very very loving heart
I love how simple and useful the lessons you give are; people (including myself at times) need to be reminded that their own moods and behavior are the keys to interactions with others, particularly animals. That seems to be true with everyone, including honeybees. Your ideas, reminders and tips are Greatly Appreciated, Lee. Thank you!
Thank you for being a WONDERFUL. FATHER to all your DOG. ,, and getting all the Dogs. FIXED. !!!!! Great. W ork. , keep up the good work Teresa. , Hayward CaliforniaUSA
He couldn't have a huge number of dogs if they were not fixed. They would constantly be having babies! I don't believe in fixing dogs as a matter of course, but he has to based on the situation. If you have multiple males and females you have no choice but to fix them. In some countries it is illegal to sterilize a dog without medical reason. I have never fixed any of my dogs and I've never had a pregnancy (or had a dog impregnate another dog). Sterilization shouldn't be necessary unless you have multiple dogs of both sexes.
Utterly brilliant! You are such an inspiration and a true friend to these dogs . Calm , firm , but unconditional love- what a world it would be if we all followed this practise 🙏❤️
I’ve learned so much about what he is saying here and it works with my dogs. I don’t yell their names , I calmly take them away from the situation and say come on, let’s go. It works so much better than them seeing you upset, making them feel stressed out like you are.
I so appreciate your educational content. This is very informative to ensure dogs aren’t taken to shelters. The more pet parents know, the more they will be successful.
I am so glad that you have the experience and the time you’ve had with the dogs to read them, and understand how to handle it before things get out of hand. And your calm and patient makes a big difference. sending love and hugs.❤️
I wonder also if Lee Asher may have a better result with his dogs because they are "overall" so happy in such a wonderful, happy environment. Love and playfulness are in the air. 🙂
So true. People with a dominant pitbull, for example, do not socialize their dog. Its easier to keep the dog locked up at home. They are creating a frightened and unsocialized dog. Very dangerous.
You always stay so calm which makes me feel calm too. Random but the trees in the distance, they're calling out for nest boxes. Small birds, owls...imagine the wildlife you must have around there. Bliss!
Awesome! Love y'all too! Especially appreciate the comment about "find the source of the tension in your life and calmly remove it." Absolutely imperative. ❤
This is so important. We have a pug and french bulldog that will occasionally get into it and it always goes back to the human energy involved as we have learned this lesson they do much better. They are besties most of the time now
I’ve learned so much over the past two weeks by listening to you. You are a natural teacher and the dogs are far more complex than most people realize.. thank you.
Hey, hate to break it to you, but that is NOT Lee Asher responding to your comments. @LeeAsher-ec4hw is a FAKE account. 🙂 Lee Asher NEVER responds to the comments here.
One of the biggest things I’ve learned from watching good dog rescuers and trainers is that more than anything the environment they’re in is super important but also the humans emotions!!! I have severe anxiety and my dog has epilepsy. After seizures at first he wouldn’t come to me and I felt so sad like he didn’t like me but I soon realized my husband was calm and not having anxiety attacks! Even after a seizure when our dog is blind, confused and scared.. he still felt my energy! Learning to control my own emotions to better help my dog has been life changing! I’m now the one mt dog looks for right after a seizure and our bond has grown sooooo much!!! When he’s not seizing but can tell I’m anxious he comes and gives me the biggest kisses and helps me through it. It’s just the most incredible bond I’ve ever had with a dog
Lee is pretty amazing. his ability to read these situations and de-escalate them is definitely a great lesson. I love his honesty and level of care for these animals.
Thank you for showing this and to show how important "Energy" is to dogs. Caesar says the same thing and so very important to handling dogs. Thanks for sharing Lee. L&L 2U LA 💙
Your integrity is very meaningful - always true to yourself, to the dogs and to us. Thank you for all your consideration and respect towards beings of earth!
You do an amazing job Lee. With so many pups you really need to sometimes intervene to keep the peace and do so without chaos. Nicely done. Bravo! 👏 Plus it is a life lesson for all living creatures.
Thank u for this video. My Husky mix is very vocal and others think she wants to fight but she just wants to play. I've removed her from situations many times. No more dog parks, she jumps over the fence. Not an easy girl.🎉
Thank you for this excellent example of how quickly tensions can arise and how much our own energy affects our dogs. Watching Olive respond so quickly, calm down, and then shake off the situation was a fantastic lesson for everyone!
I personally know a German Shepherd that was sent to Cesar Millan's camp in Los Angeles. Cesar Millan tried to starve the dog into submission. The Shepherd came back to San Diego dangerously emaciated. I was devastated and furious. When Cesar Millan was featured on The Today Show, I would write the show, and ask them to please stop promoting him.
I use to watch his show and then something clicked that his approach was not ideal. I think he produced anxiety in dogs more than joyful submission. And it always seemed to only work for him.
Caesar leans into that “alpha dog” hierarchy stuff way too hard and it’s so flawed. As Lee just demonstrated he didn’t need to stand over Olive and demand submission to correct his energy - dogs are fluid and in the moment. Being with them in that moment and just moving forward with calmness makes so much more sense. Lee is obviously focused on his mission and happens to make YT videos to help that mission. Caesar always seemed to be focused on his brand and celebrity first with dogs as the vehicle.
The end pic of the pack wandering around n drinking from the lake....This is Heaven to me. I'm so Grateful to LEE for Creating his vision, The Asher House Sanctuary. You Keep it Honest Lee,thank you.❤🙏🐾
Absolutely awesome video Lee. I love how you calmly nip issues in the bud to maintain the energy you want in the pack. Worked perfectly when you addressed the instigator. I would say this method also works really well with children. I so respect how you stay calm and loving toward Olive. 😊❤
@@dearace9991 I understand how you feel, I'm not always online here, would you love to have private conversation with me if you don't mind, do you have WhatsApp or Google chat app?
I'm 100% sure your pack is calm due to your attitude and maybe.. a little to do with the cbd 😂. Love the informative videos. And may I just say, you mentioned having someone special in your life in a recent video, that also brings me lots of happiness, dogs are wonderful but I'm happy to hear you also have a person. People also need a little people pack and you deserve it more than most.
Your energy is always immaculate 👍🏽 I wish every pet parent took the time to learn to “speak dog” as fluently as you do. Thank you for the wonderful work you’re doing
Thank you for this lesson. Time to time a reminder is very helpful to stay calm if the dogs are causing tension. It was my most important thing I learned at the beginning dealing with my young Labrador. We both trained to stay at a place outside. When ever something happened what took his attention he got up and run away to get in contact with the other dog or person. After 3 or 4 times I was really to get angry about him. My trainer stopped me and said: Stay calm. First change your feelings into love before you keep your dog. I was confused. Then I made the experience that it worked. Training with attention to my own feeling a n d to my dog was the key for thriving. So thank you for your video. Have a very good day all of you.
Hi Gayle, just letting you know that the other response here is NOT from Lee Asher. It's an "IMPOSTOR." Lee Asher told us he does not respond to any comments on his videos. Take care! 🙂
Excellent advice! "Locate the source of the tension, and gently remove it."

Thank you very much for the love and support that you have be showing to me and the fur babies , i really do appreciate ❤️
Please , do put in the punctuation and divide ur interesting narrative into the paragraphs ! Not hard to do while using an audio!
Wow! What a peaceful way to stop dog escalating aggression.
Thank you!
It must all come down to ,,energy,,. Our energy, and the animals, whatever animal they are. Vibes and Frequencies. The stuff we,re all made of . 😊
Thank you very much for the love and support that you have be showing to me and the fur babies , i really do appreciate ❤️
How did I not ever see the pup in the wheel chair??? So adorable!!
That fur baby and her wheels trying to get wet. So precious❤️❤️❤️❤️

The dogs seem so happy to be able to roam freely. I am so happy for them.
These videos are important to dog owners...i fly solo and trying to be a good parent
You are a great pack leader ...we all love you ❤❤❤❤
I so appreciate your educational content.
Thank you very much for the love and support that you have be showing to me and the fur babies , i really do appreciate ❤️
Bliss!
Great job….thank u for showing us this.
Hello greetings from the Asher’s house sanctuary ♥️
Awesome! Love y'all too! Especially appreciate the comment about "find the source of the tension in your life and calmly remove it." Absolutely imperative. ❤
Thank you very much for the love and support that you have be showing to me and the fur babies , i really do appreciate ❤️
Excellent advice
Great lesson. I am so glad you can stay so calm. Your babies are so lucky to have you. ❤
This is so important. We have a pug and french bulldog that will occasionally get into it and it always goes back to the human energy involved as we have learned this lesson they do much better. They are besties most of the time now
I’ve learned so much over the past two weeks by listening to you. You are a natural teacher and the dogs are far more complex than most people realize.. thank you.
You’re amazing and so in tune with your dogs , your love and care has no bounds . Beautiful to watch 😊
I’ve always wondered how you manage fights too, thanks for that.
You are so awesome!!! So cool and collected. Love all Your Babies. 🐾❤️⭐️👑

@@Kg8f60 Oh I know, Lee knows how to spell. ❤️🐾🫶🏽
Your dogs love, listen and respect you. You are a great dog whisperer. ☮️💟
Dr Do little, I presume! You know your pack and how to contain them. Bravo lee 🥰
Oh my goodness! The little baby with the wheelchair! my heart ❤️ 💕
Lee is pretty amazing. his ability to read these situations and de-escalate them is definitely a great lesson. I love his honesty and level of care for these animals.
You are so positive & thank you for sharing & what you do!🤗💜🌻💕🐶🐶
Thank you for showing this and to show how important "Energy" is to dogs. Caesar says the same thing and so very important to handling dogs. Thanks for sharing Lee. L&L 2U LA 💙
Last few vids on handling the dogs are my absolute favs! Thank you for sharing with us Lee!
Lee, you and your pack are amazing!!
Thank you very much for the love and support that you have be showing to me and the fur babies , i really do appreciate ❤️
Your integrity is very meaningful - always true to yourself, to the dogs and to us. Thank you for all your consideration and respect towards beings of earth!
Thank you very much for the love and support that you have be showing to me and the fur babies , i really do appreciate ❤️
Huskies can be a big challenge!
Great video and love the teaching elements of calming for the dog and the person!! Thanks so much Lee! ❤
Thank you for this excellent example of how quickly tensions can arise and how much our own energy affects our dogs. Watching Olive respond so quickly, calm down, and then shake off the situation was a fantastic lesson for everyone!
The Asher house love you so much ❤❤❤
Move over, Caesar! LEE is the REAL dog whisperer.
He had a horrible reputation
@@VonPatzy Very well stated, thank you.
What a precious soul you are for your furry children -- they are blessed indeed.
Sending you and your babies much love from Australia. X
The dogs are so incredibly lucky to have you ❤
that baby Bernard"galloping" in the background was friggen adorable @2:15
In a heartbeat I learned what I made wrong the whole almost 17 years….starting to scream and trying to chase her when she started silly behavior.
🥰 Thank you Lee, for this important advise.

Handled beautifully and calmly
Thanks for sharing! We love you and your pack.

Beautiful. Calm. ❤🤗😊
Lee, thank you for all that you do for the dogs and your pets. I love watching your videos. I like learning from your example.
GREAT JOB LEE!!
Your energy is always immaculate 👍🏽 I wish every pet parent took the time to learn to “speak dog” as fluently as you do. Thank you for the wonderful work you’re doing
Thank you great information I will remember this always❤
Thank you so much, Lee. You’re wisdom is experience🙏💕
