Our brains are wired differently. We're like 2 different species trying to co-exist.
We have 2 lobes or hemispheres in our skulls plus a few extra primitive vestiges from our ancient times of development. The left lobe is considered predominantly the logical side with a few exceptions. The right lobe has a lot of emotional processing that gives our lives so much richness of enjoyment.
There are connections between the 2 lobes: I think they're called synapses.
For illustrative purposes, let's say that men have 1,000 synapses between the two lobes.
Bio-scientists believe that women's brains have many more synapses between the lobes than men have, something between 6 to 10 times the number found in men's brains.
That means that while men only have 1,000 lobe connections in their brains, women have 6,000 to 10,000 lobe connections in their brains.
Does that mean that women are 6 to 10 times more intelligent than men?
No, what this means is that women are 6 to 10 times more vulnerable to possible confusion from too much interference from their emotions (too many lobe connecting synapses) when attempting to perform tasks requiring logical reasoning, such as choosing a future mate.
Yes, pleasant emotions (love) add wonderful depth to a marriage, but logical considerations must also be present and may rule.
So, this over-abundance of the emotional lobe's influence on the logical lobe in women's brains is why women have difficulty making more logical choices when looking for a future mate.
In other words, their logical reasoning gets overruled by their emotional thinking due to the lobe connecting synapses.
Conclusion: Men and women "think" differently, biologically and therefore socially.
1. Women, who "think" more with their emotions, have a mental "list" of their top wants in a mate. Most will not compromise or be willing to "give up" any one of those top wants on their list.
Their attitude is: "The heart wants what the heart wants."
Women approach the mate selection process as a "make or break" agreement.
Either they get what they want of their top wants, or there's no deal.
2. Men, who "think" more with their logic and reasoning, are willing to compromise on their top wants if an alternate quality attribute replaces one of their top wants.
If a woman is a super cook and enjoys making great meals but is also a bit disorganized, a man may accept those attributes in trade for his initial want for a woman who can balance a budget.
Men are basically bargaining people willing to trade this for that.

As an older beta guy I have some good news for the 80% of young men who women consider substandard. Everything except your energy level gets better as you age as long as you take care of your health and your money.
1. Every year after 18 you lose 1-2% of your sex drive plus the women your age take a steep dive in their desirability as they reach their late 20’s. That means the monkey on your back tormenting you slowly diminishes as you get older letting you enjoy life more and more.
2. You gain money and respect as you get older and the competition and hostility with other men fades away.
3. You become more stable, make wiser decisions and stop making stupid impulsive mistakes which makes life easier.
4. You stop caring what the world thinks of you and learn to pursue things that really make you happy.
5. Unlike many women, you’re not 40 years old with the box wine and cat crying over pictures of yourself when you were young and hot and had the opposite sex clamoring for your attention. Beta guys don’t have a 15 year party that starts at puberty. My teens and much of my 20’s were the worst time of my life things just got better from there.
If you don’t get a happy marriage-kids enjoy the time/money/security that comes with being a bachelor. Again: Your health and your money are the keys to happiness as you get older.
Edit: I guess I should clarify something as far as beta guys and women. If you have any kind of money and aren’t totally unattractive women will probably start giving you a modest amount of attention around the time you hit 30 and the women your age are hitting the wall. You should understand that it’s very unlikely that attention is because they are sexually/romantically attracted to you. It’s because they are looking for the money/labor/security of a beta male provider. Sir, your point about "team up with the state and bury you in a divorce" is wonderfully spot on. That is one of the chief reasons I'll never marry. Being a sexless bachelor is better than being a husband who's tormented with a sexless marriage and a blindsided divorce followed by a heap of alimony and asset division. At least there is no desired woman in my life, I can (mostly) live with that. I think that is the nature of being a man, sir - this push-pull towards and away from the feminine archetype. Cheers!

I was on POF in the late 2000's and it was the same. I'm 6'4", lifetime basketball player, I'm not bad looking and I would get 1-2 matches at most a week. I went on Tinder years later and it was the same. Most women think something better is coming around the bend and it's the prince and that shoe is gonna fit HER, so they waist most of their lives believing that and end up 35-55 on FB complaining they can't find a good man. Yeah we've all been there. It seems so logic to hear them out what they want and look for in men and being young you are easily impressed by good looking women telling you their nonsense. But the more experienced and wiser you get as you grow older you start realizing they are full of sh! t, it only works for Chad, because they always skip the part of becoming attractive in the first place. With dating apps the reality is men are more forgiving when it comes to female looks mainly because of biological drive. Women going for top 1-2% is based on looks primarily which is pure biology really. They are a lot more visual than men think and technically that is their Primary motivation as in on dating apps. The stats the numbers these women on this panel just proved it. We give women too much attention they need to earn it.
I was once given advice from a women that just because she has other bodies on the side you can still take her out to dinner and treat her right, you aren’t dating her.
My problem is not that she talked to other guys. My problem is she made it obvious. I did not take her out to dinner and I no longer talk to that advice giver. LOL

I'm a 5'4" male. I am slowly realizing that I am invisible to so many of these women. None of these women would even talk to me at a bar or in any social situation. Even if I was a philanthropic, selfless, rich, clean guy, there is no way that I would not be visible to any of these women. They wouldn't even let me talk to them.
The actual answer to the question "what would you say to those guys, the ones that are invisible to you?" It was the pause. After that it was all just lying.

I've been the "nice guy" my whole life. Now I'm 75, and more than ever, I am convinced I was correct not to change. I was an English-Literature teacher in some rough schools and I was damned good at pushing back, and supporting my wife and kids. I taught the heritage the left wants to bring down and for 33 years I didn't back down. Administration was no help and often I had to stand up to parents. I was bookish and I never apologized for it. And I'll tell you now, and those women, a woman cannot appreciate a nice guy if she is not nice. She wants to exert her masculine energy I'm not her guy, and damned glad she doesn't want me. My Chinese wife and I soon will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. I'm Caucasian male. And I wouldn't trade my wife for a mile-long line of beautiful white women. Too many of the American women today can go party all they want and treat me as invisible. I really don't care. They are losers. Especially if they aren't having kids, inside marriage! Get real! Get married! And get with God! Stop the promiscuity, or live with big regrets when you get elderly.

Having good pictures works in theory but what they’re not saying is be hotter than every other guy and have money. I’ve been ignored and stood up by women that told other ppl they’re very attracted. The truth is they’re distracted by what else they can find or hung up on an old fling. Then there’s the extremely damaged ones that are single but only get on there to feel better about themselves and have no intention of actually dating.
IMO it’s not even the hot guys they go for, they instinctively look for the guys with photos of themselves driving boats, hiking in a foreign country, whatever, it signals to them you have money & are fit even if subconsciously.

Not sure whether I've watched too many of these types of videos, I'm a misogynist, or it's just something within me as I've aged..........or perhaps all 3, however, for the last 5 years or so, with very rare exceptions, I can't stand to hear adult female voices. Like a word here or there, "Hello", "Good morning", etc. is fine, but beyond that, I feel myself getting irritated. Even listening to females talking amongst themselves, with no male involved in the conversation, I find to be annoying.........similar to listening to a little, constantly yapping dog.
About 15 years ago, POF used to have a "forum" section, where various questions were posed. One of the more popular forum questions (which had tens of thousands of responses), was, "Have all the really older men given up on dating?" Overwhelmingly, the answers were some version of, "Hell yeah." I remember thinking to myself, "How can a male 'give up' on dating?" I just could not comprehend it. Fast forward 15 years........now I overstand why a man would, "give up" on dating.

I've experienced pretty much the same thing. For a long time I thought the problem was with me. Then one day I put on my Spock hat and realized that vast majority of women who are or were in my life actually were behaving in the ways described by some misogynistic rants I've encountered.
The only thing a man can do to get more women is get in shape, dress better, look better and get better personality. Make more money get a better house and a better car. Sometimes on Facebook dating sites I’ll see pictures of middle age women who have let their bodies go, reaching 75, 100 or more pounds overweight. Then they post pictures holding their phone on their large belly pointed up at their face, looking up at their nostrils. They can’t even lift their arms up to take a picture from the same level as their face. I occasionally get these women responding to my profile and I have to reply with sorry not interested or sorry we are not a match. Then once in a while I get a follow up question of why and they want me to critique them. I made the mistake of doing that once and the woman got really mad at the way I critiqued her and I wasn’t trying to be mean. It’s like walking through a mine field.

They're not all idiots. I think it's something like 60% of 35 year old men are either married or in a long term relationship. They're not all Chads or simps and their partners are not all bitches.

My takeaway - men take realistic photos of themselves and the RARE time he gets a date the women are impressed he looks like his photos.
Whereas when the man sees the woman in person she’s ALWAYS 2-3 points lower in looks. Makeup, filters, photoshop, FaceTune, smoothing, airbrushing - and worst of all they THIN themselves. They are always 20-30lbs heavier.

I'd say I swipe on about 50% of women. And out of those I'll actually be interested in 5% for a relationship. You gotta filter out all the single mothers, the far away people, the people you're not compatible with. Then you go on a bunch of dates with what's left and you're left with nothing.
So then I go try meeting women at the gym and the majority of them are married, don't want to be approached, etc etc. I hate bars and clubs, too loud and annoying of an environment for me.
So then I have to mass spam approaching women and hire professional photographers.
And repeat, over and over.
Men should only swipe on the top 10% of women, even if the man is a 3/10. If you reverse the hypergamy the women will freak out at the lack of attention, and the 'dating' company would go bankrupt. Why would you pay to date a beached whale anyway? Better to be alone.
