I don't get the HP buff for the Dire Wolf, that thing was already hard to kill already lol.
It's also smart to start new solo/offline worlds when updates come out as existing stuff can conflict with updated stuff.
It is. I think the problem tho is that few of us wait 1 month after experimental to get to stable, so we all jump straight in.
I know some people prefer to stick their keep stuff at the bottom of their inventory.
Yes! Actually I used the top slots for stuff like repair kits, food, ammo, etc. Along the bottom I put tools and items I would swap onto my belt in case I needed it.

Add this to the Dire Wolf getting a HP boost and you're not killing them anywhere NEAR as fast now.

Since my server doesn't have %APPDATA% I was confused where to place the pregen. Into '/GeneratedWorld' which works, or was I supposed to create '/user/GeneratedWorlds' folder ?
This release had a big upgrade for controllers!
And though your vid dropped just 30 minutes ago, hotfix b327 has since been released, with b328 on its way too. It's as if they are actually serious about releasing a stable 1.0 on the 25th.
If you're on windows, there will be an appdata. If it's on linux for instance, I'm not familiar sufficiently with how it installs there. :) In general, it should go into whatever generatedworlds folder the game is generating itself and using.

But people would enjoy that. If 99 percent of the community said that they would enjoy that, they would listen to the 1 percent instead, and go the opposite direction.

Actually loot bags for animals make kinda make sense clearly you never caught a big fish like shark or killed a bear I've seen a bear have a can of Pepsi in there stomach before
And plus in a apocalypse It would be worse because they'd move into the towns and cities to scavenge the garbage and eating more shit so there stomach contents would be odd I have a video of the bear while dressing it and the Pepsi wasn't the only thing in this bears stomach there was a Gerber folding knife
Well, that should then be part of the SKINNING yield table :) ie, you skin it, and you get that can of pepsi, as you're literally pulling it apart. A loot bag implies it's something which is easily accessible (if not specifically a bag with loot), but something that you gain easy access to. And a bear with a can of pepsi sure. Not a rabbit ;) So that's why I said dire wolf and zombie bear I can sort of go with it, if the loot is appropriate. A steel pickaxe would not be appropriate even for a zombie bear, I think we can agree on? :)

I was thinking the obvious fix for this entire issue would be to make a "gore bag" or "stomach bag" skin for animal based loot drops, as if it would be the contents of it's stomach.
Actually yes. It's a matter of internal realism. It's something all settings need, regardless of what they are. Internal realism is not a matter of absolute realism (ie, can I build a 4x4 truck on my workbench) but rather it's a more fluid thing of "does it even make sense in this setting?" ... so reading magazines (which I personally dislike) and building a 4x4 is "realistic" in the sense it's a fair approximation to enable progression. A lootbag from a zombie likewise is "realistic" as it represent useful items which might've been on the zombies' person. However finding a steel pickaxe in a lootbag coming from a coyote breaks this, as it simply doesn't fit. Sort of like how the Nerd Helmet is a heavy armor, despite being just a cloth cap. Also totally ridiculous, and since there's no mithril it has no realism in the 7dtd setting, and thus should be rejected :D
It’s amusing that 1.0 is supposed to be the finished release but its still experimental and frequently being updated. 😂 Are Fun Pimps budget Bethesda??
I highlighted that confusing fact too.. the FIRST 1.0 release ... that was an experimental 1.0 release? I mean, it just seems an oxymoron :D
Zombie bear with pickaxe? Yes a bit odd but not as bad as in say fallout 4, killing a legendary blow fly and finding it was carrying a missile launcher :)

There ya go, someone kindly knew the name... Installation Blueridge. As to the POI name tag in the game, I'm actually not sure. I think one of the dev streams might've mentioned it, as they did show it off a bit.
This new patch came, and I logged into my world, my tier mission level went from 5-4, I have to do more tier 4 quests all over again to unlock tier 5....WTF!
That sucks. And it corrupted my character (due to drone) so I'll likely have to delete it.
Same. I had tier 6 completed and after patch I was back on tier 5.
can anyone help? my version 1.0 zombies do not attack or move? I tried toggling ai in debug mode but that doesn't work any other settings I am overlooking?
Ugh. So I can't give you a definitive reason, but I HAVE had this happen before on servers due to corruption, which essentially caused the AI thread to exit. More likely with mods, are you using any?

You likely can keep playing without making a new world :) It's not 100 %, and you won't get all of the new POI's but you should be able to keep playing.
2 updates one day. I appreciate their hard work, but I've uninstalled 7d2d maybe wait until they finish this stage of developing.
Actually ... 4! 325 326 327 and 328.. 3 hotfixes on a patch, crazy :P And it corrupted my character, so I'll have to delete it on my community server. Annoying!
@@Vedui42 4! Holy! My internet is relatively slow, and b326 came out a few minutes after I finished downloading b325. That's when I know I need to uninstall it and wait for a stable version.

Yuck, that suggests an exception is occuring. Any mods? Check the log files! It's likely it's throwing red exceptions somewhere.

I don't understand these devs. A trader resides next to a big city. I want a tier 1 quest. He offers only quests from other town that is 1.5 km away.
I could name 100 bugs like this and they add stupid shit that no one asked and it ends up making the game worse than before.
I had Jen offer me a job I just turned in. So many jobs are repeats, what's the point of all the POIs then? I also scrolled back to the tier 1 to see what she offered, and every one was a buried job. That shouldn't happen.
@@BunE22 Yeah, 4 quests on same 2 pois then it bugs out and offers only in other cities. You are then forced to play the walking simulator or reload game to get buried quests that spawn on magical 500 meters distance :D
I always find it a bit annoying that with a hundred questable POI's in a city, with scores of each tier, we still get the same ones over and over and over :P It's like their system goes "nah, let's give him 5 tier 1 POI's to run, and ignore the other 20 we could have used."

Is the lock mode toggle not working for anyone else? I click on it and it flashes but I don't see the lock icons on the rest of my slots, like none appear and I cannot lock any slot.
Heard people having issues, I think it was resolved tho?

I never played a game where the developer asked me to move files around to make their sh!t work.
It is a disgraceful way to proceed with updates errr patches errr hotfixes errr updates..

The Game has boxy graphics from 2005 and I am fine with that. I don't really play for the visuals.
There is no amount of graphic enhancement that will radically change the way this game looks.
Stop trying to make everything in the game look better and focus on making "THE GAME" better.

Yes, the compressed timeline for 1.0 has caused issues, and a lot of people have been frustrated. I think it's a pity, and could have been avoided. Yes it's an EXP release, but let's be real here. Most will not wait 1+ month for stable, while all their friends are enjoying the game :)

Hi you missed this one had to restart my game as some of the POI's got a new name and it broke my game.
Sounds like a bug! But 325 seems to have had issues...as 326 came quickly, and there was a 327 before the night was over and someone said 328 is on the way too :P

This title is Horable. You did not show anything that related to being More Broken Patches. UA-camrs are becoming just a big joke anymore.
How so? The big thing is the're finally deleting pregens. And broken patches? Yes indeed. You DO realize they had a patch b325 ...a hotfix 326 ... then a hotfix 327 on that AND finally a hotfix 328 ..all within 24 hours. And people are reporting issues and problems, in my case my character got corrupted so I'll have to delete and restart it. If that's not broken patching then I don't know what is :)
Bears and wolves eat just about anything edible, but won't chew on metal weapons. If there are books, they should be damaged in those lootbags. If anything, there should be a junk item that can be disassembled at the workbench, which only reveals minerals as everything is damaged, or partially digested.
Ved, professional? Come on, man. They removed the models from A16 that showed meat stew and cans being drank or eaten, and even models of yucca, and replaced it with leather blocks. They make zombies have footing equal to a goat, and can somehow swim, even though dead bodies don't float. Once the air escapes from the body, they sink. At first, they do bloat and float, but after that gas is expelled, they sink. Zombies should not be able to float, or swim. Zombies should not be able to walk on 60 degree wedge tips, or narrower.
I still play, but I'm disappointed in how they fly further away from their roots, and make the game less enjoyable. I used to play a minimum of 20 hours a week while working, and nearly the entire weekend. Now, I barely play once a week. I don't like the idea that these freaking magazines are quantity based, rather than content based.
In fact, I hate it. I'm just waiting for a mod that changes everything. Oh well. I have tons of games I haven't played, or rarely play. Still waiting and wishing for the devs to figure out that A16 had their best learning system, while A22 has their best graphics.
Hell, I was tempted to play today, got a new mod to try, and when I went to play, there was another damned update.
Oh well, I will just play something else. This game has given me a lot of entertainment. Too bad that's over with.
