Then I sat down and made a very fancy apron in about a week with limited instruction. Its not ANYWHERE NEAR as intimidating as it seems and talented folks like this make it seem by just watching them create. Its actually surprisingly intuitive. Good luck!!!

Instead of starting on a big project like this dress you can maybe start on bags or something that helped me to feel confident with sewing was mending old clothes,once you feel comfortable and have done a few small projects, you can slowly start watching tutorials and creating full outfits.
