Hello Jessica, you’re very welcome. Thank you for joining our family and taking your precious time to view my contents. You’re very kind to share about your daughter and her heritage. This is one of the main reason why I was pushed to start mg channel. I sacrifice being uncomfortable to be on cameras and having to speak English being my second language. I felt that I needed to have my children connected to their heritage too and being able to have to go back and use the recipes later when they have their own families especially my daughter. I also have in-laws and friends who are not Samoan that have started cooking some of the dishes for their husbands and partners. Thank you again Jess for connecting with me. Sending love your way to you and family 🙏🙏😊❤️
@@TofuPoueu You’re most welcome. You’re absolutely right. Our parents always make it for us when we’re young. I grew up in Samoa and we would have sua masi at least once a week. Tasted so nice with fresh coconut cream and lemon leaves 👌👌 thanks for stopping by. Take care always 💜❤️💙
Omg my grandma use to make this wen I was a younger kids sometimes she would use tea cuz of our stomach. She also would let it cool down for a little before adding the crackers. Thanks for sharing brings back memories. God bless
Aww thank you for sharing your childhood memories with Sua Masi. I totally agree with how your grandma cools down the coconut cream and water before adding the crackers. My aunty does the same too. Thank you for taking your time to view my videos. Sending love to you and family 🙏😍💕
Hi Beautiful Milz! I remember my parents enjoying that for their breakfast and my husband said, his mother when he was a child would make it for breakfast in CookIsland. It’s obviously an Island fav… Awee RIP to those who have passed. It’s never easy 😔 Thank you Milz, for the sharing of your videos with us. May God, continue to bless you and your family always ❤❤❤
Hello my beautiful queen. Thank you for stopping by. So it is an island favorite. I though it’s just us cooking it this way but the other islands cook it the same way. I see the Niuean’s have the crackers with the baby coconuts. Hope you’re having a wonderful time spending with your babies and mama Mariana. Take care always aunty Faye. Sending love to you, Tangaroa, mama Mariana and family 🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow! I remember these crackers used to come in a tin can and one of my parents made suamasi when we were younger. It’s one of our comfort foods to have in the mornings on the weekends. Prayers to your viewer who lost a loved one🙏❤️

I guess Eseta can consider herself elderly, she loves this stuff!! (JK) 🤣 You broke me up when you talked about Vicky losing her husband..😢 I just got done tearing up watching the Kautai's latest video... Her mom just died in Utah as well.😓😓
You made me laughed Brother 😂😂Wow sorry brother I’ll check out the Kautai’s. I don’t think I’ve subscribed to them. It’s heartbreaking. This couple and family are cousins of my sister in-law. I met them over there in Utah and recognised me straight away and asked if I was Milz on UA-cam. They’re very nice people and kind to me and family just like you do to others and my family too. Have a fabulous day brother to you, Eseta and the girls and your sister in-law 🙏❤️❤️
Thank you for these videos! I’m an adoptive mom to a daughter with Samoan heritage. Your videos really help us connect to her culture at home.
