I didn't like this scene because it relativizes morality. Stealing is not morally equivalent to murder.
In the eyes of the Lord it is LOL which is kind of his point. It's not really fair to say that. You can't say "you can use dark magic on this because I don't think it's a big deal", then claim it is on other things. It's no different of a temptation to do so.
The Dark One magic is something that corrupts you. That's literally its purpose. It doesn't matter what he uses it for, the pull is still the same. Even if he literally did a good deed, like heal someone, it still uses the dark magic and pull him further I'm to do so. She has to either accept that or reject it entirely. She can't pick and choose. That's the point he's making
The context is that Belle is against ANY kind of dark magic, so she rejects the idea of Rumple using it for good
