I ran into Luke and his wife at a bar in Key West and they stood there and just talked to us for 15-20 minutes just like regular people. Wasn’t a big fan of his until that interaction but for him just to be a regular person off stage with people he doesn’t know made me a fan.
Luke married his wife in 2020, they've been together for several years. A lot of people say she got with him "for the money" but they actually met in 2016, before he was famous. The video scenes of the wedding were from their actual wedding. Love the videos! Keep em coming!
Luke Combs is one of the few "newer" country artists that I can appreciate for genuinely being himself and not getting caught up in the glamor of it all. He's the real deal. Another great reaction guys...keep it up.
He wrote three songs about his now wife: “Beautiful Crazy”- for their early dating and the beginnings of their relationship “Better Together”- Him proposing and getting engaged “Forever After All”- The wedding and their marriage
I think it's awesome what yall are doing together. I've lost a parent so I can tell you first hand how special these moments are. Keep doing what yall are doing most importantly keep making those memories!
This song is the song i played on guitar and sang to my beautiful wife after our wedding when we were alone. weve been together for 4 years married for 4 months come the 17th were 24 and 25. they way luke cried when he saw her was the same way i did she looked so beautiful. this song holds a special place in my heart and i cry every time i play it thank you so much for reacting to it!
Another excellent reaction. Luke is one of the best writers out there in my opinion. Love the emotion and voice. This is definitely one of my favorites from him!
I love how Luke’s songs sometimes have a line that just gives a little more meaning or feeling that gives a little bit more. This one has towards the end “and I know there’ll be that moment the good lord calls one of us home and one won’t have the other by there side”. Also in where the wild things are
You two are the real deal. I've watched several reaction video's with different people and you are hands down the best so far. It would be nice to see your reaction to Hardy's song Mocking bird. I believe both of you would enjoy it. Thanks for the awesome reactions and keep up the great work.
Thank you Rob that is very kind. We did one Hardy song and I will make sure Mocking bird is on the list..pretty sure it is already but I will double check. I really liked the Hardy song with Lainey.
@@flickeringboxofficial Thanks for the response. The song is actually called The Mockingbird and the Crow I just shortened the title cuz I got lazy with my typing. Hardy is an awesome song writer as he has written/co-written songs for some big names.
Was a big country fan in the end of the 90's / beginning of 2000's.. Then I have a break. Not appreciate the pop turn of country music. But Combs bring me back in the game and make me love modern country 👌🤠 Auch a great artist and this song is awesome 🤟
Burch, would love to see you introduce Alexis -supposing she hasn’t heard it yet?- to Blues Traveler - Hook. Then dissect it with her. It’s always amusing to see “it” click for people when they realize the genius of that song.
Luke combs did 4 songs for his now wife. Beautiful crazy (the proposal song), loving on you, better together and forever after all. Luke performed this song at his wedding reception for his wife. I love the 3rd but short refrain, when he sings about the good lord takes one of us away and one will be without, but then continues with but heaven knows that wont last to long maybe something last after all, as in when they me in heaven they will still be in love
I love country/country rock ( and a huge fan of hair metal as well). The 80's were a musical growing up period for me. I have just discovered a guy called Corey Marks who is very much country - but the album I have is 'Who I Am?'. Very much a mix of rock and country. For the rockier side check out the song 'Outlaws and Outsiders' or for the more country side 'Drive'. There is also a brilliant duet on there with Lzzy Hale (Halestorm) called 'Out In the rain'.
Even though Luke is probably my favorite country singer out there I think you guys would love Thomas Rhett… 1) because he is an amazing storyteller with so much emotion in his songs but also 2) because he is the son of Rhett and I think it would be so cool seeing two different generations in that context!
Need to do Lovin on You ( you said they are time jumping in this video, well this one is jumping to them as kids), Beautiful Crazy and When It Rains it Pours. Some of the pictures are from other videos.
Y'all should listen to my brothers band Anchored, he has a song named Throwing Down with Snoop Dogg. It's a rock song and I think you would really like it. Just good old Texas boys havin fun. I'm a DJ in Vernal Utah but I'm from South Texas
Thank you Lisa, glad I found her too! Just so you know, I started adjusting my mix to put the video volume a little closer to the ours. Still working out the kinks but we do listen when people make suggestions :)
@@flickeringboxofficial they are a really awesome Texas band that has done some really great covers from phill Collins to areosmith that song just happens to be one of their originals. They are from Palestine Texas not far from where I grew up
You might have a dilemma when Steph comes back. You might have to go to a 3 person reaction team because by that time we’re all going to treasure both young ladies.
FOR THE LOVE OF PETE! PLEASE STOP TALKING DURING THE LYRICS!!! SOO HATE THAT! Love you guys but how can you react when you didn't listen to what he said!

I could totally get that. That is a cool story Ryan, thank you for sharing.

You picked the right person for this. Alexis does great reactions. Great song that I probably never would have heard.

Damn it, you guys! Hearing that little girl in the beginning of the song got me in tears, it's so sweet.
Amazing ❤

I think I enjoy this channel so much because I relate to both of you. I'm a hard rock guy from the 80s who listens to country.
Have you heard Hardy's song Turn You Down with Morgan Wallen and Zack Wylde?
@@jack-of-all-trades1234 I have, I get where you're goin too. Kind of a mix of both worlds.
Thank you, that is very kind. For the longest time I didn't listen to country after I left radio but now I find that I am really drawn back in.

You 2 would love Zac Brown Band - my old man. Great band and song
The big records were made from vinyl (1948+) LP 33 & 1/3 (12 inch)
78s were an older format made from shellac 10inch (circa1901) (10 inch)
I still have some of my 78 collection and a few 45s. Nothing like that sound 😁
@@flickeringboxofficial PLEASE REACT TO J.COLE WINDOW PAIN IF YOU LOVE 2PAC YOU WILL LOVE HIM ❤🎉

For the fun side of Luke, check out 'When it rains it pours', & his wife plays the 'Hooter's waitress' in the video. Cute song & video.

They got engaged right before he released Beautiful Crazy as a single.

A lot of the comments yes. He had the guests sign waivers at the wedding as his plan was to use the wedding video clips for the video

One point turn the sound on the music up. It is hard to hear. You two make a great match. Glad you found her.

They met in 2016, got married in 2020, and had a son in 2022
He wrote that song specially for the wedding.
"Just a t-shirt in the kitchen, with no make-up and a million other things that I could look at my whole life."
This is their wedding song.
Y'all should really check out blacktop mojos prodigal son. really really good
On the list Grave, never heard them before but Alexis put them on my list to do.

Do Don’t Blame It On Love by Danger Danger or Breathless by Quiet Riot
We will be doing QR very soon Ekul. Still not sure which song goes first but Breathless will definitely be on the list.
Check out Alter Bridge-Watch Over You live from Amsterdam. You will not regret it
Luke combs when it rains it poors...
Love Luke, don’t like the stupid stops for the people that don’t get it and have to relive the past every 30 seconds.
New subscriber, maybe y'all could react to "Dad's Old Number" by Cole Swindell.
Well they got married making the video guys so that’s how long they have been married
No, he’s talking about the needle drop on a 45 caliber handgun
Love the reaction but you totally missed the last verse. Go back and listen to it
I did, several times. After the reaction, we can listen to the song as it should be. It's actually now in my playlist on music service. Love it

You know my program director said the same thing when I was in radio....drove him nuts! 😁😂 Funny cause my show was still #1 in its time slot.
