It also acts as a privacy curtain at night and for other personal things like a sponge bath. I love yours and I’m looking at your links right now. I kept the industrial gray original cabinets. Great video, Bob! I’ve been looking into a type 3 ambulance - as a solo female, I really want the pass-through to the cab, so I don’t need to get out of the vehicle to drive away in an emergency. As you know, a 4x4 type 3 is almost impossible to find. I love the curtains! I agree - it doesn’t make much sense to rip out all of those super-useable shelves, but the curtains definitely take the sterile edge off of the interior. I also really like all of the outside compartments that ambulances have. I would love to see a video on your solar setup, as I also would like to have a microwave, fridge, and a toaster(!). Thanks, again. ✨💖✨

It is interesting how living in a small space make you constantly pick and chose what you keep. I think everyone makes different decisions and what I think I absolutely need someone else doesn’t care about.
I gotta say your electrical system is top notch and I’m loving all the solar power you have. I think putting curtains up to cover the sterile and industrial look of the ambulance was a brilliant idea for those who don’t want to spend big bucks doing a massive interior overhaul. It’s definitely a simplistic set up but I totally see how it works well for you. Thank you so much for sharing your home. I look forward to seeing your next video! Cheers!

I LOVE the curtains Bob! I let out a loud “HA!” when we stepped inside your home; I have a large tapestry hanging in my bedroom behind my bed of a forest-scape, curtains that have leaves all over them, and 2 large silk trees in the room! It’s a blessing to help cut sun coming in and keeps bugs out when doors are open and still let a breeze in around the edges. It also acts as a privacy curtain at night and for other personal things like a sponge bath. I love yours and I’m looking at your links right now. I kept the industrial gray original cabinets. They are too useful to just take out and it’s such a money and time saver. I love my ambulance.
I like the curtains, 😍 it reminds me of the historic scenery on the tapestries that are at the Atlanta Cyclorama. Fascinating.
I love the curtains, they say "home". I like the sturdiness of it being an ambulance and 4-wheel drive makes it a win for me. Enjoy your new home.
So happy for you Bob, I can see and hear your happiness showing us your home. The curtains are beautiful! You sort of gave yourself windows with them. You love it that´s all that matters. Love all the storage and the whole setup! ❤️🌸👍🏼
Dwight Sokoll here, I love everything you have done with your ambulance especially the minimum build on the inside. I really like the curtains. I am 76 and I am planning on hitting the road to do some exploring. I am also a retired military person. Keep up the good work.
I like the curtains. It's your own paradise.
I love the curtains! It’s a way to inexpensively personalize our homes. Nice build. Congratulations.
Love the curtains
They are unfortunately not good for allergy suffers though; but yes, are beautiful to add to one's decor 🙏🙏😕
Love it! This is awesome...you can hear in his voice and see in his face just how happy he is with his new home! As much as he does for other people to make their lives easier and happier it's so nice to see him enjoy something for himself.
This just fills my cup. 💙♥️🧡💙
💙🇺🇲Your decoration skills are not to my taste but then that isnt my home Bob. Really if your curtains make you happy then of course that's the only thing that matters. Happy trail blazing in your newest rig! 😊 💜🙏☮🙏💜
I'd say you are now truly traveling in style! I happen to actually like the idea of the curtains. They soften up the look of the place in an inexpensive and hassle free manner. Good for you Bob, I think you've arrived! 👌
The curtains are INSPIRING! I imagine seeing them when you first get up in the morning, and it would make me feel very positive to start the day, and want to be with nature.
The curtains are a great idea! They give the interior depth and wonderful scenery!
Hands down I like your curtains wonderful set up! Congratulations
Love the curtains Bob, makes you feel like you are in nature! I think the ambulance is a clever move, it’s strong, we’ll insulated & spacious. I really like the built in storage it comes with & the lighting. I think your set up is very cosy & practical! I hope you enjoy it for many years!
I don't know your curtains are kind of different that's for sure but one thing I do like about them is the color I love the colors on them that's for sure I got a tree on the other side of my street here is starting to turn colors looks like the trees on fire it's so pretty anyway yeah I like the curtains are all right I mean I wouldn't put them up at different colors but still you know to each his own but I don't know I like the colors well Bob I'll tell you what I sure like your I like your your spot here and you know what you do for people and everything and all the important things you do you're the one that gets me into wanting to go living in an RV or a van and I think I can do it but I don't have the money for one but one thing I can do cuz I'm living on Social Security and that's it and you know that's not very much and I'm saving up now to get me a pull trailer I'm trying to get one for about $1,000 then I'm going to hook it up to my my SUV I got RX300 Lexus so it's a 2003 but it runs great but anyway I'm going to try it though I'm 63 and I'm damn sure going to get on the road here sooner or later that's for sure but you know what God bless and all the luck to you you've been a great inspiration thank you very much bye-bye
It is interesting how living in a small space make you constantly pick and chose what you keep. I think everyone makes different decisions and what I think I absolutely need someone else doesn’t care about.
It's very, very intentional living. You become hyper aware of your own carbon footprint and can feel really good about minimizing it!
Cheers!
Love love your curtains bringing nature inside your home great idea 👏👏👏👏
Oh my, I love the curtains. It's like being outside while in a small space. Thank you for sharing with us.
You be you Bob! We love you!!! I was a paramedic many years ago and seeing the inside of that rig warmed my heart! I would not remove all that excellent cabinetry. I think the curtains are brilliant and really warms the place up! Thanks for everything you do Bob! I hope to see you down the road!! 👍🚙🌞🏞🇺🇸👍🏻
I LOVE the curtains Bob! I let out a loud “HA!” when we stepped inside your home; I have a large tapestry hanging in my bedroom behind my bed of a forest-scape, curtains that have leaves all over them, and 2 large silk trees in the room! The few accents and bedding all keep with that theme. I made my room into a forest, as much as I could! I am from the country and living in an overcrowded city.
I started following you and other nomads after watching Nomadland earlier this year.
I’m working on a 5-year plan to be a nomad myself.
Take care Bob ☺️
Love all your curtains, amazing ❤
