Nice build! Careful, if you have a gas leak 9:07, a spark from the water heater can cause an explosion. Propane tanks are only supposed to be stored outdoors (& upright), never in a building or shed, even.
I enjoy the Campulance man. He seems like a great guy. The first video of his that I saw was when he rescued an elderly woman who had gotten stranded in the woods. He is a her Angel.
What a great long overdue tour of David's rig. So happy to see it on your channel Bob🤗 I was shocked that Lefty didn't tell some stories of his own! Those familiar with TheCampulanceMan know what a vocal rascal he is😁😁😁 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I worked on ambulances as a radio tech. David has made his home on wheels look as much unlike an ambulance as possible. And Lefty, there aren't enough words on the internet to describe how fantastic Lefty is!
I've recently begun following David and Lefty. (My own Susie passed away...) and I get so much watching David and Lefty Live Life so fully! The relationship between those two is Priceless. They Connect. And that speaks volumes about both of them. Oh. Yeah. The ambulance.😁..I have begun viewing his early videos, and he's bringing it back to NYS. David thinks through Stuff. He's organized and talented. He addresses his unreasonable fears and overcomes anything placed in front of him. And he's great with puppies! Watch the puppies. They will tell you everything one needs to know. Right David??
Thanks for showcasing fellow NYer David, Bob. He has a wonderfully informative , humble, and inspiring UA-cam channel. His persona of " let's learn together", combined with dog luvin goodness, resonates wherever The Campulance Man may wander. Scratches behind the ears for all fur babies. Happy Trails & Tails to all. Thanks for all you do Bob Wells.phil
In Connecticut I bought a Chevrolet Shuttle bus and Allstate insured it as an RV for around $165 a year and the DOT registered it as a van, which it actually is anyway. You don't have to do everything all at once. When you think about it, you need to be comfortable (Heat and Ac) 365 days a year, be able to cook, sleep and have access to a bathroom. Then over time you make changes with a lot less stress on you. You can also spread out the cost. Plus, until you live in a van or bus, you won't know what you really need and want so it's easier to build it right the first time.
Bob, I'm so glad that you got to meet up with Dave & Lefty (his pup). Dave does have a great channel. I've been following them for approx 1 year. I always love watching your vids, Bob (been following you much longer). Keep it up. Stay safe. God bless. 💕
I'm a big of David and Lefty. An enjoyable binge watch to get caught up, even with some of the info being way over my head 😃. Some nice upgrades and changes have been made since this tour was filmed. Glad to see The Campulance Man finally featured here
Great tour Bob and David. Have been subbed with Dave's channel for quite awhile and like Bob find them very well done and informative. Thanks for widening his audience, Bob.
Terrific video - I have been following David for about a year now. He is a master at mechanics and all things solar. I don’t have a mechanical bone in my body but still enjoy his channel. He is also very humble which is so refreshing in the UA-cam world. Of course and no offense to David, the real stars are his graceful and sweet daughter when he travels back to NY and without a doubt his dog Lefty who steals the show in every video!
Wow - great video..... two guys whose channels I subscribe to, and who influenced me to buy an ambulance..... I hope I'll meet you out on the road once our ambulance is done! This was a well done video.... (I've got a few videos to show how we got the ambulance..... Freightliner FL60).
Great job guys! I met David at the dog park recently and have been watching lots of his videos. He has a lot of technical experience and skill. You guys do a great job together. Two big hearted fellas
I just love this!! I'll follow his channel now. I like how he listens to his doggie.. A Sweet Pittie looks like. A good owner. I love the healthier eating opinions!! I'm loving the ambulance build instead of a van right now after watching this. Much appreciated, Kimberlee from Santa Clara, Utah. Near Zions and Bryce Canyon. 👍✌❤ P.S. I love the American Flag in the blower vent. 🇺🇸 #Patriot
If folks could cull the discarded vehicles from the communities that are upgrading their ambulance fleets there could be many happy homeowners out there!
Thanks for the video, Bob. Great job on the build, Dave. I've looked around but could not find the information - can you please share where you found the hinged mattress? That may be exactly what I need for changes I'm making in my cargo conversion. Thanks ahead.
Thats great he was able to do the electrical in his new home. Very thorough build. Looks masculine. No frills like a woman's. Lol. Thank you Bob for the video
That's a wonderful rigged you're giving me ideas on the kind of RV I like to have I seen about three other ambulances converted into homes and I think that is really cool I think that is worth the money for sure there's a whole lot that you can do with them all different kinds of things you can do with with an ambulance love it love you praise God I'll be looking for you on UA-cam you have a good day and God bless you
Hey bud Thanks for sharing a look at your home on wheels. You have done a remarkable job very comfortable home to live in. Looking forward to Future adventures with you. Have you ever thought about having a Meetup somewhere where some of your viewers could go camping and hang out in an area and check out your ambulance. Just a thought Safe travels my friend,
Good video and question session with you both and dogs 🙂 that ambulance camper box sure seems the way to go ! Each wall has bank of storage ext & int. . Keep up the good work
This ambulance conversion was cool but as a woman I would need at least a wet bath. Because the older we get there added trips to bathroom. Cause I don’t want to boogie with Yogi and Boo Boo in the middle of the night.LOL!
Smart guy. He picked a decent drivetrain and got a southern vehicle that should be rust free. 7.3l Diesel is a very good engine, available in 1995-2002 ambulances. I worked as a paramedic for over 10 years and have personally owned ambulances. Stay FAR away from any 6.0l/6.4l Ford Diesel. Also I would pass on the 6.7l if you are on a budget. Diesels are REALLY expensive to fix if they have internal engine issues. A set of 8 fuel injectors could cost you $4-5k. The 2011 and Newer Ford V10 gas engines in ambulances are decent. Chevy duramax 6.6l is a decent diesel, BUT still expensive to fix. Chevy 6.0l gas is a very solid engine but really hard to find in an ambulance.
Lefty is the star of Dave's channel.
I dunno...it's the Pairnof them that make "it" work so beautifully...
Yay Dave and Lucky!
David just hit 20,000 subscribers, his channel is awesome and he has made several changes to the rig. Highly recommend his channel!!
Nice build! Careful, if you have a gas leak 9:07, a spark from the water heater can cause an explosion. Propane tanks are only supposed to be stored outdoors (& upright), never in a building or shed, even.
Dave's videos are really good. Bob and Dave together is perfect.
I think he made even Bob feel inadequate LOL.
Follow them both, great channels
Looks great.
Love Dave, Bob, Lefty and Cody.
I follow Dave and Lefty and just love them. Thanks for this interview. ❤

Awesome rig. Great dude and love that Lefty boy! 👍
I love his fleet finds video's. Lefty is too cute.
I worked on ambulances as a radio tech. David has made his home on wheels look as much unlike an ambulance as possible. And Lefty, there aren't enough words on the internet to describe how fantastic Lefty is!
David is the best. His fans love him and Lefty.
Hi Lefty!

Appreciated this RE-introduction to Campulance man!

I’ve been following Dave and Lefty’s channel for about 6-7 months. I’ve enjoyed his journeys. He has made changes to the rig since this interview.
Two of my favorite guys on the You Tubes! Great video gentlemen! ♥️
In Connecticut I bought a Chevrolet Shuttle bus and Allstate insured it as an RV for around $165 a year and the DOT registered it as a van, which it actually is anyway.

Simple design yet very practical and low budget. I really like this build.
Watch David's channel all the time glad you two guys got together. Life is short go and enjoy it before it's too late.

Hey!!! It's Dave & Lefty!!! I've been watching Dave & Left since he started his build!!! I absolutely love his videos!!
My two favorite UA-cam channels in one. Thanks Bob and Dave.
Great and smart set up. Love the doggie too.
Bob, please consider having the people you interview introduce their pets too. Thanks a bunch.
Wow - great video..... two guys whose channels I subscribe to, and who influenced me to buy an ambulance..... I hope I'll meet you out on the road once our ambulance is done! This was a well done video.... (I've got a few videos to show how we got the ambulance..... Freightliner FL60).
Man, I still want an ambulance. I go back and forth between finding a class C or an ambulance and just when I think I've settled on a C...
Rv's are built like garbage. Ambulances get the wheels driven off them. Either way, pick your poison.
That’s so cool!
It's always nice to have a motorcycle on the back! Nice hitch.
Love you both!!!
GR8T VIDEO BOB! THE CAMPULANCE MAN HAS A AWESOME RIG! 💪 🚑
wow thats just perfection.....
David looks a little nervous in front of the camera which is kind of odd since he looks so comfortable in front of the camera on his channel
I have been following him for a while, and, I Truly Enjoy his channel!
Love Your channel ❤ 💕 and HOWA. Still stuck in bricks & sticks...
Nice rig!
Love watching David and Lefty!

Great video ! I to watch David’s channel, he’s got a great rig . That’s a massive solar system I envy that! Thanks guys
Awesome setup!
Love Dave and Lefty's channel great guy, great videos
I watch his channel, too. Good, comfy ambulance build, n useful info on his videos! Love his beautiful dog!
Hoorah, Campulance Man!! Nice tour of your home for those not familiar with your channel.
David is a men among men. Has helped me personally.
I haven’t heard about many of us NYers doing this but I’m glad David does! I love watching his videos & his home looks very comfortable.
Nice neat and well organized.
David looks like he keeps in pretty good shape.. Something that can be challenging on the road..
This was amazing. I'm used to feeling inadequate when watching these kinds of videos but this came with a double dose 😆! I M P R E S S I V E !
Good job David
If folks could cull the discarded vehicles from the communities that are upgrading their ambulance fleets there could be many happy homeowners out there!
Beautiful and well organized
I subscribe to him also. He has a beautiful set up, so functional.
it looks vary utilitarian and comfortable I like it
I follow David’s UA-cam channel. It’s very good and I just live his pup Lefty.
Thanks for the video, Bob. Great job on the build, Dave. I've looked around but could not find the information - can you please share where you found the hinged mattress? That may be exactly what I need for changes I'm making in my cargo conversion. Thanks ahead.
Amazing build. Extremely well thought out.
Very interesting and a very well done build. His home is nice and neat and very functional. I love it. 👍👍👍👍👍😁
Thats great he was able to do the electrical in his new home. Very thorough build. Looks masculine. No frills like a woman's. Lol. Thank you Bob for the video
I watch his videos too. Great information 👍🏻👍🏻
Love to watch David n Bob
I like the Fact he runs the AC no problem that's my goal I am going to do First
He could put a vent in that door and run it with the door closed and a couple of USB fans or a Heng's fan for air flow. It would be pretty stealth.
Camped with David summer before last. Got to see his ride. He did a great job customizing his campulance! Cudos to him!! Damit Janet
love it. thanks for sharing this
Great video with 2 great guys! If you aren't subscribed you're missing out!🥰
It really is NICE and he's quite well organized. Thanks for sharing.
Camo Dave used to cover his channel but I never checked him out, thank you for the condensed version
Bob Wells and Campulance Man!!

I just subscribed to The Campulance Man. Looking forward to following him.
Where do you keep the spare tire?
Love Lefty. Good boy.
Would loved to see more of the dog. Great interview. Just subscribed to his channel.

An electric ambulance might fix that problem. No more gas. Just solar panels with an inverter or generator.
You got yourself a new subscriber Campulance man
What states make it easy to get insurance coverage for a converted ambulance?
I would like to know that also, along with registration for one of these ambulance's.
