MY FIRST SEMESTER AT UTA! (UT Arlington - College Vlog)

- As my second semester at UTA begins here are some of the highlights from last semester...
I strongly believe and have seen that God opens doors and helps us to overcome any obstacles we might face. I'm not going to lie, when I first transferred to UTA I was NERVOUS. I was leaving my community college, where I had just started to plant roots and make authentic friendships, and going to a place three times as large with people who had been there since their freshman year. I felt like the under dog going into UTA, but I live by the quote "I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how I react to it." And so, instead of focusing on the odds that weren't in my favor I decided to focus on the ones that were and try my hardest to get involved in whatever ways I could. Let's just say, I won those odds and I am so incredibly blessed to say that last semester was a phenomenal one...I can't wait to see what this semester has in store.
